Dr. Chmielewski is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. He has a great bedside manner. Never rushes through one's appointment with him. He did a pneumonectomy on my husband, and did an excellent job. He explained everything before and after very well. He has a positive, uplifting disposition, which means a lot when one is dealing with cancer. We feel lucky to have had him for our surgeon.

My 28 yr old son has been suffering with extreme GERD for at least 10 yrs that we know of. Looking back we are certain its been much longer than that. He had a 4cm hiatal hernia and TIF procedure 3 years ago by a different surgeon. He also had a total mouth of crowns put on due to the enamel wearing off his teeth from years of acid erosion. The entire surgery he had prior all came undone. We were faced with much uncertainty as to how to move forward as this is still a young guy on surgery #2. We also were preparing for the worst case scenario to repair this which was the Nissen fundoplication but definitely hoped for the best case scenario. We were referred by our original surgeon to Dr. Chmielewski. He was the best thing that has ever happened to us. He was able to robotically repair the hernia a different way and put the LINX device on for the GERD. My son is 3 weeks into the recovery and honestly he's had hardly any pain, no nausea and has been able to eat just about anything. Dr. Chmielewski saved my son from lifelong issues that could be associated with prolonged reflux. His knowledge and expertise is nothing but the best! He is AMAZING and we are forever grateful!!

Dr. Chmielewski is an EXCELLENT professional, a very pleasant man - a Gentle Giant. It's always pleasure to be in his presence, it feels so safe.

Dr Chmielewski treated me for Esophagial Cancer...I was in great hands...he is one of the best and most compassionate Doctors I’ve ever had. I am alive and well because of him. And his assistant Hector M. is fantastic also.

Treated me for Empiyima and Pneumonia. Wow was I in good hands. Hi's team including Hector made my experience positive and healing. I can't say enough good things.

My name:Priscilla Streeter, Dr. Chmielewski and his staff was the (BEST) he treats patients like family I love him, very understanding to your needs. He's very clear and makes sure you know whats going to happen very compassionate he's truly amazing and healed me like never before I was very glad to have him. I came in very ill he healed me quick I was back up and around in due time it's been a year later and I'm still going strong he needs ten stars. Love, love, love him Bless his heart
