Dr Alan replace my mitral valve on June 11, 2020. I am a 69-year-old active retiree. And he gave me my life back. I will be forever grateful. Thank you.

I am 36 years old and Dr Allen did my surgery. What they call a CABG...x4. My surgery was on 12/24/2020. I can't Express how won't he is. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You saved my life.

Dr.Allen operated on my grandfather about 4 1/2 years ago. I will be forever grateful for the care that Dr.Allen and the hospital staff bestowed on my poppy.

Saw once in the office after waiting for an hour for him to arrive. Gave me a very quick and brief review of what the surgery involved. After surgery he had gone way beyond what I was told. Saw him for approximately 2 minutes in the doorway of my room. Didn't ask me anything about my pain or comfort. My follow up visit to the office was with his PA. Very disappointed with his attention to my extensive surgery and very angry with the results and lack of information.

DR. ALLEN IS VERY GOOD AT SURGERY, HE IS APPROACHABLE AND FRIENDLY, VERY EASY TO TALK TO. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

Dr Allen preformed a triple bypass surgery on me. 2 graphs failed almost immediately. I had a heart attack And now have permanent heart damage. Dr K put in 3 stents to try to repair the blockage. Didn't work. Dr K is now trying to cover up for Dr Allen. Waterman Hospital only has one heart doctor and a very small staff in ICU. Most of whom are not qualified. Dr. Allen is an amazing surgeon. He did a quadruple bypass on my father last year and saved his life. A year later he is doing amazing. Back to running and feeling the best he has in over a decade. I cannot thank Dr. Allen and his staff enough. They went above and beyond to make sure my father had great care before, during, and after the surgery. They also kept us up to date on his progress every step of the day. I would highly recommend Watermen and Dr. Allen! Dr. Allen is an amazing surgeon. Dr. Allen is a great surgeon! He took care of my complex heart issue. He was very caring and had a great bedside manner. He saved my life! Waterman hospital was also great.

Poor surgeon. Did a triple bypass on me. 2 graphs failed, I had a heart attack. Suffered permanent heart damage. Waterman is not a true heart center. ICU is the worst i have ever seen for heart surgery. Only a few people qualified to treat heart surgery patients there. If you have any complications there, you are screwed. You have once chance to get it right. If they don't your life will never be the same. Go to a real heart center. I wish i would have. Now i have permanent heart damage.

Very poor. Waiting over 6 hours for a four hour surgery. With not one person telling me anything. Seen him one time before surgery, it's already been 3 days after still in hospital and still have not seen him and wanting for him to discharge me.......

Dr. Allen showed great interest in educating me and my family about the steps to take in and following recovery for the greatest success of CABG. Hospital quality at Waterman Hospital was excellent with Dr. visits, nursing care and all the staff involved in my cardiac ICU care following CABG. I would definitely recommend Dr. Gary Allen as a cardiac surgeon.
