Dr. Garth Robert Smith

Dr smith took care of the torn tendon on my arm a few weeks ago and i feel so much better. I'm ahead of the recovery time frame without ever having to do physical therapy. I highly recommend him

I’m a massage therapist, so when I needed surgery, my only choice was Dr. Smith. He is an excellent doctor with great bedside manner and takes time to answer all questions. Over my 20+ years as a LMT, he has earned my respect and trust and would recommend him to any of my colleagues and friends.

Reaching a human is near impossible unless you request the to make an appointment or make an appointment. We are grateful for the surgeons skills and success with our surgeries but this front line access is a direct reflection on every provider. Absolutely would recommend Dr. Smith to family and friends. He is very knowledgeable, kind, caring. He has ability to put patient at ease, spends time listening and explaining. He has always solved my issues over the years. Great doctor. My husband is his patient, too. Great staff and office team.

having had 6 surgery’s by Dr. Smith, his abilities & resulting scar recovery is some of the best I have witnessed. A very professional attitude with good knowledge. Relates well with all aspects of the work i have required over the last 16 years.

Dr. Smith and his staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. I am not always comfortable with doctors so the staff's attempt to put me at ease spoke volumes to me. Dr. Smith took his time to explain my injury and answered my questions clearly. I would definitely recommend him as I feel like I hit the "eeney, meeney, miney, mo" jackpot!

Dr Garth Smith reconstructed my elbow ligament in November 2020. He did an amazing job! He is attentive, kind, and an excellent surgeon.

I would Dr Smith to anyone with a hand issue. He was very efficient, after X-rays were taken he diagnosed the problem and how to resolve it hopefully without surgery. Injection and gone and hopefully that is it.

Excellent visit, Dr Smith listened, gave me good advice & ideas to ease my joint pain. I'll certainly be back!

Dr. Smith is direct and to the point explaining what's happening and what will happen. He was a little late for my appointment was was very apologetic.

Very severe pain and numbness in my left (dominant) hand caused me to see Dr. Garth Smith of The Centers for Advanced Orthopedics. The entire process from the initial office visit, the diagnosis process, all the way through the recent very successful Carpal tunnel surgery was flawless. Dr. Smith's team provided outstanding service that was highly professional, timely, knowledgeable and caring. Based on this experience, It would be impossible for me to recommend any area in need of improvement. I thank Dr. Smith and his entire team for setting an example of what can be accomplished when providing medical care.

Dr. Garth Smith fixed my left elbow in 2017, it has been stronger than ever. I recently went to him for "clicking, painful thumbs". I was worried that it was a nerve problem. He immediately diagnosed and identified it as "Pilat Thumbs" or clubbed thumbs caused by a stained tendon at the base of my thumbs. It was treated with cortisone shots, my symptoms are now improving.

Absolutely incompetent group of people to be called a medical organization. Little to know care for patients during consultation, booked a surgery 3 months prior and got a time one day prior at 5pm When I told the nurses at the surgery center i needed something to relax because i didn’t like doctors and needles/doctors/getting surgery, they lied to me and was mere giving me a plain iv Drip And after 3 hours in waiting they finally started surgery. Staff, doctor and scheduling communication is so terrible you might as well call 411. No one knows anything about customer follow up appointments or future care.Complete dissatisfied and wouldn't return to Garth or his team to have them trim my fingernails.

Came in with a life altering hand paralysis Spent about 5 mins with me. Rattled off codes to his PA instead of addressing me. Rushed off to X-ray and then Sent me off for an unneeded MRI for over $1k. I called the office for results and now 3 weeks later still no follow up or return call. Dr. Smith and his team have a wonderful disposition and made our 8 year old with a broken arm feel unafraid. He was gentle and thoughtful with his approach and I'm grateful.

Dr. Smith is fantastic!! He has excellent skills and his personality is so comforting and compassionate. I was in excellent hands having my surgery and would recommend him to everyone I know!!!

Dr. Smith is pleasant, knowledgeable and did a good examination of my hands. He was a little vague in explanation and suggestions in regards of my hands.

Great doc--very intelligent and capable, wonderful 'bedside manner", easy to talk to/answers questions thoughtfully, highly recommend!. Office staff is friendly and efficient as well.

He is the ABSOLUTE WORST surgeon ever. Recommended surgery on a severed wrist tendon that after research post surgery is a "harvest" tendon that he told me he had done "hundreds" of times. LIES. There is no available medical research on the resection of a carpi radialis tendon other than that of a pro hockey player. He took away my ability to flex my wrist- to wash my hair- to go to the bathroom and take care of myself until I found a surgeon to undo his damage. DESTROYED MY RIGHT ARM FOREVER.

I have been seeing Dr Smith for quite a while for Severe Degenerative joint disease of the wrists and hands. He is pleasant, interested in me as a whole and very skilled. He opts for the least severe course of action. Very nice bedside manner. I was there yesterday and could not help to notice the proficiency of ancillary staff. In addition they are pleasant, helpful and enable the office to run like clock work. Good job ladies!

What an ease to get in and see the doctor. I was not happy that I had to return for another appointment to take a nerve test. I thought it was some big test and that's why they could not do it right away and to my surprise it was a quick in and out (30 seconds) for which I drove over an hour (roundtrip) this test could of been done while I was talking to the doctor AND got my results, a two for one. It would be GREAT if they had a online portal where I can see the report. Very nice doctor and great bedside manner. Highly recommended. What an ease to get in and see the doctor. He was absolutely wonderful. Personable and took time with my teenaged son to get all of the information needed for proper treatment.

I had a mallet finger injury to my finger and Dr. Smith didn't even want to spent very literally 2 minutes with me. I understand that a mallet finger is not a life threading but it worth a few more minutes. Then he charged my insurance something like $350 dollars! What a joke this all is. Doctors ripping off insurance companies. In the end I found out way more on the internet and YouTube for free. Thanks for nothing.
