Repaired my tore biceps this month and so far everything has gone as planned. He is a great doctor and also caring and friendly. Is staff is also very caring and very responsive. Highly recommend! I went to Dr. Nelson to see about having my trigger fingers fixed by surgery. Dr. Nelson took an assessment of my strength, how my fingers moved and popped etc. Dr Nelson checked my arm strength along with my neck and shoulders mobility. He did what I feel is a very thorough examination. They had me get a couple X-rays before the appointment and he pointed out where I have arthritis. In the end of the appointment he said that the usual surgical patient of his is much more crippled and in much more pain that I am at this point and he did not recommend surgery now. Dr. recommend wrapping my finger to lengthen the muscle to see if it will recover without surgery. I’ve always felt in back of my mind that if you go to a surgeon they most likely will recommend surgery. I’m so impressed that Dr. Nelson has integrity and won’t recommend surgery just because he can do it. I trust Dr. Nelson.

Dr Nelson replaced both of my knees in 2019 (separate surgeries). Not only is he an incredibly skilled surgeon, he's also kind, supportive and a pleasure to work with. Thank you Dr Nelson!

Dr Garth Nelson did a beautiful job replacing my knee. He is compassionate and very concerned about my well being. He listens intently and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend him and I will use him again to have my other knee replaced.

Dr Nelson did my left shoulder surgery. He was so though and caring. I am recovering fine. Never have a problem since.

Dr. Nelson has done an incredible job in repairing my shoulder, knee, and leg (all separate issues). He really cares and takes his time talking with you and understanding your issues.

Dr. Nelson has performed 2 rotator cuff surgeries and one knee replacement surgery on me. Dr Nelson is very professional, thorough and kind. He takes time to sit and talk with me with every visit. I get immediate return calls when I have questions or concerns. He has been my orthopedic doctor for about 18 years.

Wonderful patient care with his positive outlook - even through stressful medical concerns. Highly recommend!

Dr Nelson repaired my rotator cuff and badly torn bicep muscle. Excellent surgery!! He is caring and friendly. I recommend him to everyone .

Dr. Nelson did my knee surgery, after some else had done a not-so-good job. He is a nice man, a great doctor, and his staff is friendly and helpful. I am now scheduled with Dr Nelson for rotator cuff repair. I am confident that all will go well and that I'll have the best of care. Best ortho in northern Colorado!.
