On Jan. 7, 1997 Dr. Lynch performed a total knee replacement on me. The surgery went very well. Now, 25 years later, at age 84, I still have the same knee replacement and everything seems to be doing okay. I would recommend Dr. Lynch to anyone and everyone. GREAT JOB ! After being treated for a shoulder injury by Dr. Lynch 20 yrs ago I've been seeing him for other issues ever since! Why? He's an excellent doctor. He never tires, always personable, thorough in his examination and testing, and doesn't hesitate to prescribe further testing when warranted to be certain of damage suspected. He's energetic, covers all areas, asks and answers all questions. I'm a friendly, talkative patient and he never makes me feel rushed. I'm never kept waiting too long but if it's a few minutes I know it's because he really cares about his patients and is assisting someone ahead of me in just the same way. He's a super smart and amazing surgeon. 5 stars because he deserves it!

I had right shoulder pain that did not go away with PT. My therapist recommended Dr. Lynch, at my first visit he suspected a torn rotator cuff but stated an MRI would confirm the size of it. An MRI confirmed I did have a large tear. Dr Lynch explained the surgery procedure from start to finish throughly & in layman’s terms. I just had surgery and he expects a full recovery. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Lynch and would most definitely recommend him.

From start to finish, every encounter with staff and Dr. Lynch was professional and friendly. Dr. Lynch has a delightful bedside manor, and immediately assured me that he would do everything he could to help correct and/ or resolve the issues I was having with pain. I left his office hopeful and confident that I was on my way to finally getting some answers and relief!

He is an expert in his field and communicates in terms the layman can easily understand.

He has taken great care of me over the years. Both shoulder have rotator cuff tear which periodically 'talk to me'. He has gotten be back to almost full function and out of pain on several occasions. I have only the best things to say about this outstanding doctor.

Excellent - Superior Dr. Lynch diagnosed and surgically repaired my completely destroyed left shoulder back in 2001. I immediately was relieved of all pain, had all movement of my arm and I have been pain free since then. Three weeks ago I woke with terrible pain in my left shoulder. I then called to set up an appointment and was very happy to see that Dr. Lynch could see me in two days. I was In major pain, was signed in by the friendly receptionist and was admitted by a very friendly assistant. Dr. Lynch came in very shortly, was very friendly, courteous and professional. He took plenty of time to examine and diagnose my problem and took appropriate steps to immediately relieve my pain and direct a couple of tests to know exactly how to proceed. I look forward to a solution very soon to have nine more years of relief as I did with his initial surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Lynch for anyone having shoulder or knee pain.

I was referred to Dr Lynch, after reviewing his bio, unhappy with a Kaiser orthopedic, suffering from knee swelling, pain and weakness for a year I decided to give him a try. Today was my initial visit. I left with homework, additional diagnostic follow ups and a follow up appointment in 2 weeks. I appreciated his knowledge, expertise & explanation of my concerns. Not to mention the Theoretical validation followed by his clinical knowledge. Dr. Lynch has been the surgeon for my left shoulder about 25 years ago & my right shoulder in 2016. He takes the time to thoroughly explain what the surgery involves (with a model shoulder) more than once during your first visit through the pre-op physical therapy, & again with my husband & myself the morning of surgery. We highly recommend Dr Lynch to anyone needing shoulder surgery. On top of his skills, he has a great sense of humor. Something you'll need & appreciate!

Dr Lynch was highly recommended to me by my Primary Care physician to treat my shoulder/arm joint and muscle complications caused by an unrelated surgical procedure. Dr Lynch was great. His approach to my condition was very direct and aggressive and was he was always available when I needed him. His follow-up and that of Kimberly Stauffer, Nurse Practitioner, and the office staff could not have been better. I enthusiastically recommend Dr Lynch.

I saw him yesterday for pain in my left knee. Lots of fluid. He was very informative and thorough about how we would fix it. Suggested stand up x-rays to get a better look at things, never heard that before. Great idea! Would recommend him. He knows what he's talking about. Friendly staff in the Bowie office.

On October 11, 2016 I had my right knee replacement performed by Dr. Lynch and I am truly thankful that I had him for my doctor. Prior to my surgery I was given exercises to do to help build up strength in my leg. This was a great help because once I had the surgery and I was up and moving the same day which helped me move. I appreciate the care I received at AAMC from the nurses and staff there along with Dr. Lynch taking care of me before and after my surgery. I am thankful to Dr. Lynch

Dr Garrett Lynch is fantastic. I'm 57 years old. Dr Lynch repaired my left shoulder Rotator cuff tear in 2003 and my right in 2006 ( along with a bicep tendon). He is extremely professional, up to date on the latest advances, ( Some of which are by his aid and design). He demands your best effort during Physical therapy but it is why his success rate is so phenomenal. Besides my family, Dr Lynch is the only person I hold in high regards. His talent Helped me and I know he can help you.

Dr. Lynch performed surgery of a massive rotator cuff repair for me. I can only give him and his staff the highest praise for every aspect of the surgery. From the initial consultation, through the surgery, and follow up visits to his office, everyone involved was professional, courteous, and friendly. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone who asks me for a reference.

I will not refer anyone to Dr. Lynch. Although he did his job with the ACL/meniscus surgery, everything else was terrible. He and the nurse practitioner, Kim Stauffer, did not give me all of my medications before surgery, treated me horribly after surgery when I was not hitting my ROM goals with threats about what would happen and how I could not afford things because I am a teacher. My first appointment I waited 2.5 hours to be seen, only to be told to have an MRI.

Dr. Lynch sometimes has a brusque manner that may turn some people off. However, if you have patience, you will see he closely listens to you and ensures your understanding of his answers. He is a very compassionate advocate for your lifelong orthopedic health. I've had two successful surgeries with him, and avoided another because of his good care and referrals to an outstanding physical therapist. Now it's up to me to continue the rehabilitative work on my own.

Had had two prior surveys with Dr. Lynch before had a ACL surgery schedule, 3 weeks before my surgery I was out of town for my job so I did not think about calling and canceling my surgery . Long story short Dr . Lynch calls me raising his voice asking why I can not have surgery or did not call and give him two weeks notice. I told him he is not being very professional calling me and raising his voice, he replies that I was not professional, never had a doctor call me to raise his voice.
