I had been searching for the right doctor to do my surgery for years and I’m so lucky to have found Dr. Bennett and Dr. Mourad. I recently had sinus surgery, septoplasty, and rhinoplasty done. Both of them explained everything in detail before the procedure and made me feel so comfortable. They were both so incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional. Dr. Bennett was so attentive and personable throughout the entire process from beginning to end. He checked up on me numerous times and was always willing to answer any questions I had. In 2017 my nose wad broken in a violent altercation. My septum was deviated to the right and my left nasal valve was completely collapsed. I had a saddle Nose deformity and a collapsed nose. My sleep, Smell and eating were all affected and to make matters worse my nose was completely crooked. My life was devastated. I’m going to start off this journey in 2018 when I first saw an ENT by the name of Dr. Mehta. In this procedure stents were use used toHelp to straighten my deviated septum. However Dr. Mehta did not address the fact that my nasal bridge was collapsed. To make matters worse alar cartilage and lateral cartilage were unnecessarily resected to the point in which my internal left nasal valve had completely collapsed. In 2019 I attempted another surgery in order to correct the internal nasal valve correct collapse. I’ve visited another ENT by the name of Dr. Korine Horn, in which she conducted a procedure to construct and Aylor bad and graft using Cartlidge from the posterior surface of my right ear. Not only was this ear graph insufficient in supporting my internal nasal valve But I was left with scar tissue on the internal side of my left knee is a wall. 2019-2021 “the nasal strip era” living like an animal Here I was two surgeries in and one procedure. It’s gotten to the point where I was walking around with a nasal strip on my face 24 seven for relief. The only thing that gave me a little bit of relief was a modified cuddle maneuver. I swear I wish I could’ve pulled apart my left cheek and just pinned it there so that way I could breathe. My life was a living nightmare and my nose could visibly collapse from the outside. There were so many times where I felt like I was giving up, like there was nothing to look forward to, I lost all of my confidence. I didn’t feel like a human being and I didn’t feel like Joseph santoro. I had lost all faith in the medical community and Ryan a plastic surgeons until of course I met Dr. Bennett and Dr. Mourad. 2021: building a strong and masculine nose: After two failed no surgeries I was apprehensive about having a tertiary revision surgery to say the least. But after a discussion of nasal anatomy with both doctors I felt rest assured that revision using rib Cartlidge would be affective in rebuilding and reconstructing my nasal bridge an internal nasal valve. Haven’t gone to do no surgeries I expected to wake up completely unable to breathe and in a world of pain. However I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was actually breathing! Instead of traditional stance Dr. Bennett and Dr. Marade use modern technology of nasal cones in performing rhinoplasty. That suffocating in mouth breathing feeling That I had normally experience from previous surgeries was minimal. In addition I expected a stabbing pain in the area of the rib removal. However what I had experience was a much more faint type of pain that was only exacerbated through spinal flexion or getting up from a chair position. Now I am not going to minimize getting a major surgery, but I I can assure you That it is not as bad as you may think. As far as Surgeon expertise goes there may be no two men on this planet higher caliber than Dr. Marade and Dr. Bennett in terms of restorative function of the needle nasal anatomy and cosmetic affect. I walk around now with confidence. When I look in the mirror I get to see my own face. I got to see the nose that I would’ve had. I got the smell and taste food again, I got the smell the flowers again and life is simply just more beautiful with more air. Trusting Garrett Bennett and Moustafa Mourad for surgery has been the greatest regret of my life. These two left me with a severely disfigured nose and significantly worse breathing troubles that required an extensive and expensive second operation with another surgeon only one year later. During post-op visits, Dr. Mourad seemed out of his depth and unsure about what went wrong, while Dr. Bennett came across as intentionally deceptive. Bennett and Mourad both seemed confidant before surgery, and I trusted the handful of positive reviews I saw online. This was a serious mistake. I would advise anyone considering surgery, no matter how minor, to do research on your own, get multiple opinions, and really consider the necessity of the surgery. Things can and do go terribly wrong, and you are the one that has to live with the results for the rest of your life.

I had a rhinoseptoplasty through doctors Garrett Bennett and Moustafa Mourad and feel incredibly lucky to have connected with such an intelligent, warm duo. Dr. Bennett met with me extensively before the surgery, prepared me for what would be a relatively complicated procedure (I had a severely deviated septum, minimal cartilage, and a collapse nasal valve and could not breathe through one of my nostrils at all) and gave me the attention, facts, and encouragement that I needed to move forward with the procedure. I needed a rib graft during the surgery and they made the incision minimal so minimal that now, 3 months out, I barely notice it. My nose bridge needed to be wider so that my nostril wouldn't collapse again and I was hesitant to see the "after" look, knowing it would be a technically wider nose but they've done such a nice just making it symmetrical and WORKABLE that I'm the happiest gal. I feel comfortable with its new aesthetic and am able to breathe - headaches, sinus infections, nasally voice, and difficulty exercising no more! The amount of personalized care I've received from both the doctors and their warm staff is beyond note-worthy. They treat me like a member of their community and use routine, personal phone calls and thoughtful visits to make me feel both supported and informed. I would recommend Dr. Bennett and his staff wholeheartedly, a thousand times over. I have been visiting surgeons for about 10 years now preparing for this surgery and feel so happy that I waited until I found the right fit. Dr. Bennett is an outstanding physician who focuses all his expertise and training on nasal issues only, making him one of the top Doctors in the Country in his specialty. His staff is friendly and always willing to help. He makes himself available to answer your questions at a moments notice, He is comprehensive in his approach to treat all your issues with one surgery. He was able to diagnose my breathing problem in a few minutes, while other doctors spent years With me and had no clue. I can't see myself finding a doctor I trust more than Dr. Bennett. It's a strong sense some patients like myself have had with other doctors that were not so specific and focused, only to find someone like Dr. Bennett on whom it seems no essential facts are ever lost. I went from not being able to breathe nightly and each morning in bed and having regular sinus infections (I thought would not end) to having effective breathing all the time and having no infections I can recall since the surgery. Excellent doctor! Highly recommend.

For years I suffered from a stuffy nose, nasally voice, and a sinus headache every other day. Sinus sprays and allergy pills didn't help. I slept terribly and pretty much kept my mouth slightly open constantly. I got on Google looking for a good ENT and I was so happy to have found Dr Bennett with awesome reviews on Yelp and ZocDoc. I concluded this was the ENT that could help me improve my quality of life. I was not disappointed!! When I called the office Ree was ever so sweet and considerate. After having been to countless doctors regarding my chronic sinusitis (most of whom either prescribed tons of medicine or told me to "live with it"), he was the first doctor to take me seriously. I just have to say that Dr. Bennett is extremely thorough and took more time with me then any doctor I have seen before. I am only a few weeks out from sinus surgery for me deviated septum (which was a childhood injury I never dealt with) and I am breathing better and expect to keep improving. He has called me several times to check up, and even took my phone call on the weekend when I was worried about how to wash out my sinuses. I am already very happy with the whole process and results and it should only keep getting better. He explained that since it was years of breathing issues from an injury I never let heal properly that there could be some limitations on how much breathing would improve, but I already see a difference. First the office was conveniently located in midtown east 2 blocks from the train. I walked into the office and I was impressed with the modern décor. The receptionist was very welcoming and warm. I saw Dr. Bennett right on time for my appointment. I could tell from the beginning of our conversation he was going to be a doctor who’s help I wanted. He took the time out to listen to all of my concerns and the stories on how my deviated septum occurred as well as my horrible sinus surgery experience. From there he took the time out to explain what went wrong with the first surgery and also what he would be able to do to help. He was very knowledgeable and what I liked most was he explained thing in a way that I understood. Also, his office manager was very helpful with my insurance and billing. They collected all the information they needed from me the first day and made all the appropriate calls to my insurance carrier to learn about my coverage and cost. I went through with the surgery and I was home a couple of hours after the surgery. He set multiple weekly follow-ups to track the progress of my healing process. He would call me while I was recovering to check on me and see how the pain is and if there is anything he can do to help. I really liked the fact of how caring he was. This is the REAL DEAL! I recovered in about 7-10 days and went back to all my normal daily routines. I immediately felt a difference in the quality of my life. I started to breather so much better, gained a better sense of smell and the appearance of my nose was fixed! Not only was the septum realigned back in placed but the noticeable injury on the outside of my nose was gone! I have no scars and I do not snore anymore!!! Dr. Bennett is an excellent, talented doctor. After years of feeling uncomfortable with my nose, and not being able to breathe from one nostril due to a deviated septum, I finally received the results I have always dreamed about. My migraines are gone as well and the once heavy dark circles I had under my eyes are almost completely gone! My visit with Dr. Bennett was great. His office and staff are wonderful and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. He talked me through all my sinus and breathing problems and showed me everything to expect with sinus surgery. I found Dr. Bennett searching on Google for a Rhinoplasty surgeon in New York City, and boy am I glad I found him. I went to a few other Doctors who shall remain nameless, and I found that they had a general sleaziness to them. Dr. Bennett didn't try to sell me like the other rhinoplasty doctors did. He even cut me an amazing deal. When I went into surgery at the Manhattan Surgery Center, I was super nervous. NO MORE MIGRAINES!!! After more than TEN years of consistent migraines, I have finally been cured!!! I had gone to several doctors, optometrists, and allergists, and none of them were able to figure out why I had so many migraines and sinus infections, and why antibiotics couldn't seem to clear up my infections. I honestly started thinking that it was normal to get sinus infections, to have migraines, breath the way I did, and to sleep as poorly as I did. Luckily my boyfriend was finally fed up with my misery and gave me a kick in the butt one day by telling me to go to an ear, nose, and throat doctor. I found Dr. Bennett on ZocDoc and made the BEST DECISION of my life. When he told me he could fix the problem with surgery, I was terrified! I was extremely anxious leading up to the surgery, but Dr. Bennett and his staff did an excellent job preparing me and helping me to be comfortable with the idea. At last there was HOPE! It has been more than one month and I have not had a single migraine! Not only that, but I sleep like a baby every night (which was never the case before surgery) and breathe better than ever. Dr. Bennett told me that he was not convinced that I had asthma (which I had been diagnosed with when I was 16), and it turns out that I am able to breathe much better when I run and am not nearly as exhausted after my workouts. I am THOROUGHLY impressed and satisfied with Dr. Bennett's work, as well as the assistance that his WONDERFUL staff provided both before and after surgery. I was referred to Dr. Garrett Bennett by another physician. For about 20 years I had been suffering from a progressively worsening blocked nasal passages. I had been so used to the condition that I thought it was normal. Dr. Bennett spent the time to explain to me the condition and what he could do to treat it. I was initially apprehensive about undergoing surgery. However, Dr. Bennett and his staff calmed my fears. Dr. Bennett was confident without giving me false expectations. His staff is extremely professional, pleasant and helpful. I am now about one month post-surgery and the difference has been life changing. I am now able to breath clearly through my nose.
