Dr. Gardner D. Tarlow

His staff is sooo RUDE!! They literally have attitude for no reason! My mom loves Dr. Tarlow and has been with him for many years but dealing with his staff for her sake just boils my blood!

With the whole Covid thing, I understand precautions that are needed but this office is just a waste of my time and complete inconvenient. If the doctor won't see anyone don't ask me to come in to the office to fill out paperwork.. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Dr. Tarlow is a great Doctor. He’s very understanding and intelligent and I don’t feel like just another number when I see him. Unfortunately his office staff have been atrocious over the last 3 years. They have sworn at me, told me to find another doctor, made it impossible to schedule an appointment, and seem to have no shame at all. I’ve seen them treat an elderly woman with extreme disrespect, to the point I had to step in and stop it. It’s unfortunate because he’s such a good doctor. I would give the Doctor 5 stars, but due to how incredibly rude the office staff is, I have no choice. I hope you find an entire new staff that is as welcoming and awesome as you are Dr. Tarlow. Not happy at all so I will be switching Dr. Asp Was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome buy my own request of a blood test but when asked if he would up my medication 50 mg instead of 25 he refused. I had to self-diagnose myself and my daughter. The drug that I'm on Spira lactone was blacklisted by the government only by the facts of it causes testicle problems in childbearing but my tubes are tied so now I have to seek another doctor who understands my syndrome apparently he's not educated enough about the side effects I suffer from. Dr. Tarlow had always been a really nice guy, but he is really hard to get ahold of. The office has stated hours, but no way to contact our even leave a message over the weekend. I was unable to make my early Monday appointment, and his office staff was uncaring that they do not provide a way to cancel or reschedule that. I was told either pay extra for a no show fee, or I could wait 2 days to call to speak to the office manager, and then I could reschedule. After that she was very condescending and rude to me, and when I said I would consider not returning to Dr Tarlow she said with a lilting [laugh], that that works for her. How disrespectful for the office of a “Health Professional.” I don’t recommend dealing with this office, especially if you have any chance of a scheduling conflict. I just I’ll never go back there. Very Professional and was direct and informative .... I would Highly Recommend Dr. Tarlow to those in search of a Quality MD .......

Dr Tarlow will work with you to solve your health problem and only suggest tests or referrals that will advance the investigation. He is totally open to the patients ideas for treatment especially when there are many treatment options.

Dr. Tarlow is a good doctor! He has been my doctor for 15yrs. I have never had any problems with referrals. He is a great GP.

I figured I would write to help balance out some of the negative reviews, as it looks like people come to review/vent. Dr Tarlow has been my doctor for almost 10 years now. I've never had any issue with him or his staff, they've always been great. He has been key in helping me identify root causes of issues instead of simply treating the symptoms. Dr. Tarlow is amazingly helpful, genuinely kind and gets to the root of this issue and quickly identifies a specialist if needed. However, his staff definitely tarnishes whatever hopes of a good review the office could have. Simple thing as sending the proper documentation and reports to the specialist THEY referred you to has proven to be too much of a task for them to handle. Pathetic. Dr Gardner is a wonderful Doctor i have been going to him for over 8yr now ..I have seen him go through so many office help over the years but i have to say it has gotten ALOT worse..He has even told that he has trouble with them as well ..They don't do there jobs ever i have been waiting on a referral for now a month they never got back to me i had to call them... once i did they said it get approved and wanted to give me the number i told kathy i was driving and could not write down the number she told me to pull over cause ( there so busy and if i call back that the line would be busy ) i told kathy that i was on the freeway she said well you can try later but might not be able to reach anyone...so when i got home i did call and asked to get the number of the Dr. well you guess it the girl that does referrals went home and i had to call the next day ...really are they that lazy they cant even call to leave a message ? So at this time i left Dr. Tarlow to give me a call and you guessed it he never did ...I really don't think they gave it to him..so i called today asking if he got the message they told me there's one file in front of mine and to call tomarrow..I asked does he have a email they said no ....so really theres no way of getting in touch with your Dr. I think its time to fine someone else....Like i said he is one of the best caring and understanding doctors out there but his office staff needs ALOT OF HELP........
