About Dr. Ganesh Chari
Reviews for Dr. Ganesh Chari
At first he seemed to care but when every thing came back negative he said we just had to live with it. My husband has episodes of no balance or coordination and falls during these. He has broken his collarbone and split his head open and needed 7 staples. He has these episodes roughly every two weeks and they last 5 to 7 days. That's about half the month that he is not able to do anything. Seeking another doctor. This diagnosis is not acceptable. To say we have to live with it is wrong. Would not recommend him to anyone.
Saw Dr. Chari for several years for MS advice and treatment. For about 37 years we've seen physicians in military hosp., private practices, med. centers from Walter Reed to UNC Hospitals Neurology...many neurologists. Dr. Chari appeared disinterested, cursory, and lacking in follow-up. Advise finding another physician.

This man should not have a medical license. I went to him in December and again in January 2022. He ordered two MRIs, one of my brain and one of my spine. When I went back in January for the results, he was even more rude than the first visit...not to mention that I went to my appt. on the 28th and was told he doesn't see patients on Fridays, although my appt. card clearly stated that is was 01/28 at 11:00 a.m. I was told to come back on Monday. He supposedly went over the MRIs with me and said there was nothing relevant on them. He also said that he was done with me and I didn't need to come back again. I asked him for a copy of the MRIs for my primary care physician in Michigan and he told me to get them from the imaging center where they were done. A few days later I got a certified letter from the worthless excuse for a doctor telling me, basically, that he was firing me as a patient and would no longer talk to me. I did NOTHING wrong. When I returned to Michigan I took the MRIs to my primary care doctor and he read them to me and stated the I have narrowing in the spine in my neck. Dr. Chari NEVER mentioned anything like that. I don't think he even looked at the MRI of my spine. My doctor told me I was LUCKY that he fired me. Amen to that. I originally made my appt. with Dr. Williams, but when I showed up Dr. Chari was the only one in that office. There were very few cars in the parking lot and only one patient in the waiting room. Dr. Chari himself called me back to the room...he didn't even have any help in the rooms. I don't know if he is experiencing dementia or some other medical issue, but he should not be seeing patients. If you are considering going to him, RUN to someone else!!!
The first visit was very uncomfortable & he had no "bedside manner". He did order MRIs, for my brain and neck. The office person said I would be contacted by the imaging place within a week. I called the imaging co. & they said they didn't contact me as the order was cancelled. So, I made the appt. & went for my MRIs. My return appt. to Dr. Chari was scheduled for January 28, 2022. I showed up at the appt. time and was told that I didn't have an appt. because he is not in on Fridays. I showed the appt. card & it clearly showed my appt. was Jan. 28. It was supposed to be on Monday, Jan. 31st. I went back on Monday and was treated horribly. He read the MRIs & had no useful info. He acted like he just wanted to be rid of me. I called back a few weeks later and asked for him to resend a bloodwork order for thyroid. He refused to do so. I didn't have it done the first time because it was over $130 and I have never paid for any bloodwork. I need that test because I can't stay awake.
Terrible bedside manner! He acted like he was mad at the world. Couldn’t understand what he was saying through his mask. Would act PO’d when asked to repeat what he was saying. Staff was just as bad, not at all friendly. Did not go back for follow up appointment. Will look for another doctor of this specialty.
Zero bedside manner. Irritated when I had difficulty understanding him thru Covid mask. When I asked about my condition he stated "I diagnose, I do not treat" end of conversation.
He came into my hospital didn't explain anything to me. Did some movement test said your fine and walked out.
We did not stay for the appt. With the pandemic, there was not any social distancing in the waiting room. All the chairs were close together. Very poor practice from a medical professional!!!!!!!!!!!! Very unacceptable!!
Always behind in appointments. Basically a rubber stamp for the diagnosis given to him by a promary physician. Would not recommend this doctor.
I went to this doctor, he was fine, his staff was so rude,I guess if your on Medicaid they feel they can treat you like dirt.i went to him in 2009,stopped due to staff didn't renew prescription, he was away from office, his country, and because he isn't America Doctor they treat anyone that has seizures bad,.You may not realize it at first I didn't, had my family member come in,and saw how wrong he treated all patients. .His office will lie to all insurance companies so beware and check your insurance . Dr Chari has been very professional as is his office staff. I would very much recommend him to anyone that requires a very great neurologist. He has been extremely through with me and is caring for me throughout my needs.
Dr Chari was nice, informative and spent plenty of time and explaining my situation. I would recommend you to everybody when asked for a good neurologist

I have found Dr Chari to be one of the best neurologists in western Florida. I experienced a wrong diagnosis at the Tampa General hospital by a series of doctors when I exhibited signs and symptoms of Myesthenia Gravis.. It was an almost immediate diagnosis and then confirmed by Dr. Chari. He treated me properly and then lowered the dosage for my chronic condition. My condition is now under control. Look no further than Dr. Ganesh Chari for an excellent neurologist.! Bruce Burke

Dr. Chari, spoke to me as if I was an idiot. He brushed off all my questions as if they did not matter. He wanted me to let my husband die. After seeing him in the coma for a week he stopped coming in to see him. He did not let me know what medications he was giving my husband or for what reason. I would not let this doctor treat my worse enemy.
Very unprofessional. Told me I was faking seizures for drugs. Told him to find the the in my bloodwork. There are none ever. Then told me to go to Tampa.

I found both the office staff as well as Dr. Chari to be hard to work with. I've been especially dismayed with the Dr.'s lack of etics toward his patients. I would give a failing grade also to the responsiveness of the practice.
The office staff was very unhelpful and rude. Dr. Chari boarders on unethical and is unresponsive. I would in no way endorse this Dr. or practice.
