Good experience with my husband seeing Dr. Hopkins at Arrowhead Orthopaedics in Redlands. He presented as knowledgeable and ordered the diagnostic test my husband needed, in addition to education about what might possibly causing my husband’s shoulder pain.

Doctor Gail Hopkins was not much of a help . He Couldn’t tell me why my left leg was going numb and that there wasn’t much he can do about it, he automatically just sent me to Physical Therapy and Pain management even though I told him that I had already gone through pain management and it didn’t help my cause. Basic doctor runaround to get you in and out of the office. Do not trust this doctor. Doctor Gail Hopkins was not much of a help . Love Arrowhead Orthopedics but Dr. Hopkins now does tele health appts where he delivers bad news to you VIA TEXT and then does not respond back to questions! Imagine getting the news that your condition is chronic by a text and then not even having an opportunity to ask questions! I had to call and ask his assistant to please respond to one of my questions! Very unprofessional! Dr Hopkins is a straight forward no BS doctor, he cares about the people he works on and is up front. A very rare find with doctors these days.

Dr Hopkins operated on my back and helped me become a real person again. Great, patient friendly surgeon that I highly recommend.

Listed to my symptoms and offered suggestions to help out.

Dr. Hopkins level of care, prior to surgery, on the day of the procedure, and throughout aftercare, was exemplary. I am grateful for the significant improvement in my condition.

Always looking out for my health takes the time to talk to me about different options

I started seeing Dr. Hopkins in early 2016. Surprising, a worker’s compensation nurse had recommended him. I couldn’t be happier with her recommendation. With my injury, I was in need of surgery which worker’s compensation didn’t want to cover. Dr Hopkins and staff did everything they could to not only fight for me but they supported me in a very trying time in my life. After my fight, He preformed my surgery and honestly can’t believe the amount of relief I felt after surgery. In the years I have seen him, he always has given me honest feedback on what is needed and is my best interest. I’m never rushed in my appointments nor have I waited long to see him. His nurse, Zadora always makes certain I have everything I need before I leave his office. Whether it be a prescription I’m in need of or a follow up appointment, she’s completely on top of it. All and all, I can’t thank them all enough for everything they have done for me. :)

Every body was very nice

Great staff, great doc, great front desk people.

Always a great doctor to deal with, remembers who you are and shows concern for how you are doing.

He is thorough, and utilized all info given for dx and best possible treatment. Wait time was not long

Nice personal. Very helpfull and efficient Lobby very clean and I didn't have to wait to long to see a doctor.

First time visiting, it was clean and the staff were very nice and the doctor was very clear about my issues and what my next step was to getting better

I was hoping something could be done for the pain I’m constantly in, but the doctor was very nice and explained there was nothing he could do but will refer me to pain management for shots. At least he was very concerned.

I had an appointment with Dr. Hopkins at 7:50 a.m. He reviewed my MRI and spoke with me about his professional opinion and game plan. Which I will wait for a referral to follow up with. I really felt that Dr. Hopkins approach to my situation was spot on and can't wait to get a referral for this to move forward. I was referred to AO by my primary physician. I chose to be seen by Dr. Hopkins. He is very thorough and completely explains everything. His office staff is professional and friendly. My primary said she had several other patients that have gone to Dr. Hopkins for surgery and have had wonderful results.

Dr. Hopkins had a tele-web appointment in April with my wife and diagnosed she needed surgery urgently, he also said his staff will get a surgery date as soon as possible. Now a month later, no response from his office, I have left multiple messages to his nurse and she will not respond. Now my wife is in extreme pain and needs pain medication refilled but unable to communicate due to your office not returning calls.

First visit/consult for chronic back pain

He is the best back surgeon I have seen, and I have seen several doctors over my back. I would, and do, recommend him to everyone I know who has a spine condition that needs help.

From the time I arrived, I did not wait long, staff friendly and professional, all though because of my medical problem Dr. Hopkins was not able to do much, he was very professional and personable, I would highly recommend him, I do see another Doctor at Arrowhead, and highly recommend this group of Physicians

He really took the time to listen and in his exam, he needed more areas to make a clear plan to treat. I really feel confident. He isn't rushing and feel he really wants to help me locate the true source causing the chronic pain before treatment.

Dr Hopkins was very patient and listened to what I said. He developed a plan for determining how to handle my problem. The office staff worked hard at getting my follow up appointment as quick as possible.

Straight and to the point. Honest.

Is it went well the doctor was pleasant and helpful. For my physical therapy I requested water aerobics I Was Heard and given the water aerobics I asked for.

Dr. Hopkins is always very honest and friendly, and I love how he includes my young son in all discussions about his treatment. Zadora is also great. I feel my son is in caring hands!

The worst appointment ever spent maybe 3 minutes with me. Terrible didn’t even talk about previous conditions compared to latest. Pain level 9 out of 10 and suggested therapy what a joke even after i told him i’ve been receiving therapy for 2 months. Could’ve went to urgent care 3 weeks ago when the pain started and got something for the pain. What will this office visit cost me 3 or 4 hundred dollars.

Very satisfied with my entire experience. I felt listened to and my pain understood. I fell very comfortable with the medical plan going forward. Helpful and kind staff, too!

Does not "connect" with me. Doesn't offer information clearly on diagnosis or prognoses. Had to call him back after he left to distinctly communicate clearly on my issues. I get better information from my dogs veterinarian . As a retired Los Angeles County Fireman, I gave all my patients the upmost in care.

Dr Hopkins is the BEST spine surgeon. I was suffering from my condition Spinal Stenosis and Degenerative Disease for over 3 years.. I had tried everything from epidural injections, physical therapy, massage therapy and pain management but nothing worked. Dr Hopkins is very professional, very thorough with his patients when explaining the options available to a patient. Dr Hopkins helps his patients feel confident in his abilities to find relief from chronic pain. Thank you Dr Hopkins!!!!

I was forced to waste 3 hours of my time just waiting to see Dr. Hopkins. Ridiculous.

Dr Gail Hopkins performed my back fusion 8 weeks ago and from day one I have been pain free. I spent one night in hospital, 1 week with a walker and then was able to resume my daily activities. He was able to explain exactly what he would be doing, recovery and what outcome I could expect. He and his office staff was so nice and and were always available. The education classes were very helpful.. I would recommend Dr Hopkins to anyone looking for relief. I only wish I had done it sooner.

I met with Dr. Hopkins regarding my lower spine, have had 2 fusions already and still in pain.. He suggested P/T first to see if core strenghening could help alleviate some of the challenges I was facing. The Physical Therapy worked very well, spent several weeks at the Rancho Cucamonga phys/ther facility and have felt so much better.. Thanks to everyone on staff there, they were so professional and totally top notch on the latest in p/t for lower spine issues.

Dr Hopkins preformed a spiral fusion & cage on 4/19/2016 and it was the best decision I've had in my life. His staff treated me with the utmost respect and compassion! If you're looking for an excellent well trained staff with an excellent orthopedic surgeon you won't go wrong choosing Dr Hopkins!

Dr. Hopkins was my surgeon for back issues. I have had several surgeries and have been doing very well. Seven years ago I went for my first one. I have referred Dr. Hopkins whenever a conversation comes up about spine issues. I found him to be warm, confident and concerned about giving me my quality of life back. I had to have a multiple Cervical Fusion as I have severe disc degenerative disease. Dr. Hopkins was amazing. Originally my surgery was scheduled for Jan 2017 but after having severe nerve pain in my arms and hands, Dr Hopkins scheduled my surgery immediately. Originally Dr Hopkins gave me a three months estimate before I could return to work however I did so well that I was back to work in 6 1/2 weeks. I would recommend him and Arrowhead Orthopaedics to anyone I know.

I broke and dislocated my left ankle while I was in Green Valley Lake, CA on 8-13-16. Dr. Hopkins did outpatient surgery on 8-23-16 at Redlands Community Hospital. He put in 6 screws, 3 wires and a metal plate. Being 70 years old I was not sure I would ever be ok. We are from Prescott, AZ and in CA as camp hosts for 6 months in the summer. I had 2 soft casts and 2 hard casts and then a boot on 10-10-16. I highly recommend him and his PA, Christina and MA, Emily. Thank you, Judy Crowell

Dr. Hopkins did not help my best friend who has been suffering with back pain for 3 years. He just looked at his picture and his attitude was like oh it's not that bad cause it does not look bad on the paper but you cannot just go by a picture. My friends insurance covered the procedures Dr. Hopkins could have done but he told him that he did not want to. If his insurance covers it and he approved for it then help the patient and do it instead of thinking about yourself and ur needs.
