She has been treating my granddaughter for ODD, but she put this child on Focalin for ADHD. This child quit eating, couldn't sleep, and had become physical at school with staff. I protested, so she put her on Straterra, dehydrating the child and causing bowl issues. So, I told the nurse there to have this doctor prescribe an anti-anxiety med. But, Dr. Hangiandreou prescribed Focalin, again! I made it very clear to that nurse that ADHD meds are dangerous for this child with ODD, especially stimulants!! This doctor did not care!! Day 1- child roaming through rooms, non-stop talking! By day 3 -child hit her teacher, as she had before on this medication!!! Social Service person forced me to administer Focalin as prescribed by this doctor! I have had to syop the Focalin, for the safety of this child. This doctor is leaving, but Social Services is making this child continue seeing this doctor til she is gone. AFTER THIS RECENT ATTACK ON HER TEACHER, THIS CHILD IS BEING REMOVED FROM HER CLASS
