Dr. Schnickel, is one of the most caring, wonderful, professional doctors that I have met in my life! He removed half of my liver to get rid of a cancerous tumor. I can say that he saved my life. I am very grateful to him and all the doctors who work with him.
Dr Schnickel and his team provided excellent care for me 2 weeks ago when I was blessed with a new kidney from my donor. UCSD has fully guided me throughout my recovery and healing process, and I couldnât be more grateful to all of the doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers and assistants involved. Dr Schnickel is an outstanding surgeon - and has outstanding bedside manners - Dr Schnickel answers all your questions and leaves the patient at ease.
