Great

I had gotten a tummy tuck and lipo 360 done by another doctor and the result gave me really bad doggy ears(love handles) and had lose skin on my back but Dr. Watkins was able to fix that beautifully with a flank plasty. Even the stitching looks clean where i can tell the scarring won’t be too wide. I’m still swollen but I’m excited for my final results. I also go to him for Botox, he understands my Problem areas and is the best man for the job. Update: i love my results for my plank plates and definitely my go to guy for Botox. He understands exactly what my problem areas are. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Having part of your finger amputated could be a traumatic experience. However, from the initial check-in with the staff, to the procedure by Dr. Watkins and subsequent follow-ups, I received great attention as a patient and did not suffer anxiety.

I was recommended Dr. Watkins from a friend. First, I have to say the nurses that take care of you for consultations, to the nurses who take care of you during the procedure, were enough to make anyone feel better, reassured and confident. They never receive enough credit and they honestly were wonderful. Secondly, as for Dr. Watkins, it’s hard to find a great surgeon with great bedside manners. It’s usually one or the other. It’s definitely both with Dr. Watkins. He takes time with you (that is probably the only reason another reviewer said they had to wait) and addresses every concern you have. I will gladly wait because he spent the time explaining every detail with me. I’m extremely happy to have found this surgeon. Please read other peoples reviews. Dr. Watkins is great. I didn’t end up going with him because he doesn’t take most health insurance. And the wait times during the visit were crazy long even though the office seemed empty. But overall, I liked him, his manner and expertise in the hand surgery field.

Dr. Watkins and his team are great. He addresses patient's concerns pre and post surgery. I was terrified prior to my procedure, but because of the time he spent with me going through my concerns, I was able to get through my fears. Everyone is apprehensive about a medical procedure. The staff, care and expertise of Dr Watkins gave me comfort, calmed my nerves. I was very happy with the outcome.

This Doctor became a Doctor for all the right reasons, he is just brilliant and the kindest doctor I have ever meet! Dr. Watkins is a gifted surgeon. He is conscientious and gives answers in the best interest of the client. His office is inviting and his staff are personable and efficient.

I suffered trauma to both my hands. The damage was so severe, I thought I would never be able to use them again. Fortunately, Dr. Watkins was called. Eight months later, I have the use of both hands. Dr Watkins is a skilled surgeon who not only made my hands functional, but he was also concerned how my hands would look after so much damage. My daughter was in a very serious bicycle accident that injured her face, primarily her lips (inside and out), and a huge laceration on her forehead. Fortunately for us, Dr. Watkins was the attending physician at the Suburban Hospital, where my daughter was admitted into the trauma unit. Dr. Watkins did a phenomenal job with my daughter's lacerations. She is still recovering. She may have some scars (only future will tell), but the scarring could have been a lot worse (from what I have seen of her lacerations and extensive wounds). Dr. Watkins was awesome. We had an emergency finger tip that was cut off. He reattached it and it's now 'back on' - no infection, and the finger 'took' Great bedside manner and answered everything. Not to mention (again), what a skilled surgeon he is. Thank you!!!!

I had a otoplasty done on one ear,an osteoma removed from my forehead, and a mole removed from my head. It's been Exactly one month post-surgery and I am very satisfied with the results. I have much more confidence now and am lucky to have picked Dr.Watkins. I did alot of review reading and comparing of surgeons before choosing him. He does beautiful work and is nice to chat with. I was referred to Dr. Watkins after receiving 17 stitches on my right index finger from a pit bull bite; the pit bill also killed my puppy. The nurse and receptionists were attentive and polite. There was no wait time and I was attended promptly. Dr. Watkins was great.

Dr. Watkins is an amazing plastic surgeon! We met in the trauma center at Suburban Hospital. I was struck by an SUV while out on a bike ride. My left ear was severed from the lobe to the middle-back part of the ear and up across the cartilage in the front as well as along my skull. I had also broken my neck and was in a neck brace. The first procedure to re-attach my ear in the hospital took around 45 minutes (see photo with neck brace). The recovery that followed wasn't fun. Dr. Watkins coached me on caring for the wound and worked with me over the next three months as the tissue healed. I lost a good chunk of my lobe but no big deal. Given how my bike helmet straps became knifes as my head hit the wheelwell, I'm really lucky with how much of ear Dr. Watkins was able to save. I came back in for a follow-up visit six-months. He immediately noticed the poor blood flow from a small horizontal scar that had developed. My ear was so sensitive NOTHING could ever touch it. He had to do a second procedure to reconnect the lobe to my cheek (photo attached). I still have to go back in a few days to get the stitches out. Dr. Watkins is an amazing plastic surgeon! When I got to Mr.Watkins offices the people there was very nice and very helpful and he did such an amazing job. I recommend any of my friends or family to come here. I really appreciate he’s works.

The doctor and all of the staff are very helpful and friendly. I appreciate all of their advice on procedures that I do not know about. I appreciate that they advise not doing "too much" at one time and are conscious of giving me the best treatment for the most reasonable price

I am extremely impressed and pleased with Dr. Watkins and his staff. I had a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty and backplasty) performed by Dr. Watkins. Dr. Watson reviewed my surgical options and the pros and cons of each surgical option to remove excess fat and skin after my substantial weight loss so I could make an informed decision. I am a physician and finding a knowledgeable and skilled surgeon with great bedside manners is what I needed. I found Dr. Watson to have these attributes. I am happy with the high quality of service and results from surgery that Dr. Watkins was able to provide. The results from the surgery exceeded my expectations. Additionally, any logistical needs I had were attended to by his staff very well.

I had a so-called neck lift, which was really just liposuction (which I was not looking for) leaving sagging skin and horrible looking banding in my neck. All I got was "well, we thought that could happen" at my 3 month post-op appointment (not sure who "we" is, as this was not mentioned as a possible outcome). No apologies, no offer to provide additional corrective surgery, and no concern or even offer for a follow up appointment to re-evaluate. I am now completely self-conscious of my appearance and try to keep my neck covered when in public. I have also spent tons of money on alternate treatments to improve the appearance, but it still looks worse than it did before the surgery.

Dr. Watkins did an amazing job of putting my head back together in the hospital ER after a bad fall cracked it wide open - the ER doc took one look and said we needed a specialist. I had an 8 inch long, 2 inch wide gash that went down to my skull. 50+ stitches and nearly 20 staples, 2 days in ICU, but today the scar is barely visible. Dr. Watkins is professional, knowledgeable and personable, his staff is great, and he is an expert at what he does!
