Frederick Andoy Talip

After receiving the Covid vaccine I developed a rash. It started on my eyelids. Then, corners of my mouth. Now it is also located on my neck, ears, and hands. I have been to several doctors, all of which agree that the rash is autoimmune related. Frederick Talip (he is no doctor, doctors take oaths) was rude, loud, and short tempered. All he did was yell and ask me why I was there. I do not have rheumatoid arthritis! I tried to explain the previous doctor said a rheumatologist also treat’s autoimmune and she referred me. He said he only treats connective tissues autoimmune and I do not have that because I do not have rheumatoid arthritis. He had my nerves so torn up I started to cry and I couldn’t stop. He ordered blood work and I went to another room for that. As I sat waiting, I Googled Rheumatologist and sure enough, they do treat autoimmune disease. He must be special? He said he would call me with the results. He did not call me. That Friday I downloaded My Chart to see if there was an update. There was an update on Wednesday showing positive ANA and low red/white count. I have attached pictures of how that conversation went. So basically, I have been using steroid cream on my face for 10 months. Since he did not refer me to a dermatologist it’s looking like 2 months before I can be seen. How long before this cream causes glaucoma, thin skin, or cancer? Let’s hope longer than a year. Basically, if you need a rheumatologist, do not go to Frederick Talip. This has been a nightmare.

I saw Dr Talip for a consultation. He was personable. Answered all of my questions, gave a thorough exam, explained my lab results and his finding satisfactorily. It was a 3 month wait for the appointment and the wait time in the waiting room was normal. The staff was efficient and friendly.

First off, this doctor is in Columbia, SC...not NC. I saw this “doctor” back in January of this year. He didn’t want to see any scans and didn’t ask many questions. All he tested me for was ankylosing spondylitis, yet I needed to be tested for OA, RA, fibromyalgia, and several other things I’ve been told I had. After the results came back that I didn’t have AS, he told me to follow up with my primary doctor, who was the one who sent me to him to begin with! I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to him!

I have something called Ehler Danlos, causes my joints to dislocate. I gained 40lbs in 3 months due to medication. All he could do is tell me to get rid of weight and I would feel better. Even though I have had the same joint issues and pain my entire life. Essentially he told me he couldn't help me but come back in 6 months. No thanks

Dr. Talip is an exceptional physician. I was a patient of his in Mooresville, NC.

Brushed me off when my blood work showed negative for lupus even though i have ongoing health issues he claims to treat.

Did not want to see any of my previous med files/xray/MRI disc I was told ahead to bring in.
