Everyone is very courteous and professional. Also, they honor your time by staying on schedule.

Staff and physician were very nice but a little too casual about a conversation that for me needed more thoroughness and attention to detail. I was there to talk about regenerative medicine because they offer that. When the only dr. In a practice knows very little about a cutting edge treatment that he offers in his practice that is not covered by insurance and causes thousands and of dollars, that is a cause for concern. When I asked the physician some questions, he said I would have to talk to “the girls”. So I stood by a desk in the hallway talking to “the girls” which ended up being the PA who again was friendly but basically just handed me a folder with some information and encouraged me to look up the info I was requesting on the tissue bank’s website. The other providers I have met with about regenerative medicine were much more organized and thorough in their presentation about the treatment.

the service, dedication and courtesy of its employees are important as is your health. I am very pleased with the surgery performed by Dr. McClimas. the recovery has been very good and all the questions and doubts that I have had have been answered accurately.

I have been with this doctor over 15 years he cares so much about his patient ready to listen and understand and he get a 10 plus he's our family doctor me and my husband with a excellent staff. He is a great doctor he did my knee both of my husband hips I wish all doctors was caring like him I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr McCliman is the best orthopedic surgeon my husband and I have ever met. He is caring and committed to meeting the needs of his patients in the least invasive but most effective way. Visited Dr. Mclimans on March 14 to have my right knee rechecked. He had done orthoscopic surgery due to arthritis in 2007 and the knee has been fine. Recently , my knee had been bothering me a little, so after 15 years, I thought I should have it checked. This time the knee had degenerated to the point where he recommended knee replacement I have no doubt that his recommendation is appropriate and will schedule the surgery. He is absolutely the best.

Dr. McClimans took time to explain the issue to my husband and answered any questions we might have had.

He is very easy to get along with. He tries to be helpful & has concern for his patient.

I got hit by a truck when I was stepping off of Fletcher Avenue and was severely injured. I have had 4 surgeries w this wonderful Dr McClimans.. He repaired my left shoulder left wrist and left leg twice.. I really thought I would never be able to be active again but all my surgeries were a success and I am now I am walking w physical therapy and will soon be strong enough to resume my active lifestyle. Only took week or so for the shine to wear off---revealing similar medicare attitudes....like failure to perform....lack of professionalism towards patients....failure to return calls and/or failure to check on prescriptions SENT BY YOUR OFFICE!!!!!! In my hands, I have RX dated 1/20/23 for neoprene knee sleeve for surgically replaced knee. I had to contact Care+ to get Tampa Bay Bone & Joint to send the prescription to local medical outfitter. *********TWO F-ING MONTHS AGO********* I called the lazy staff at least 5 or 6 times to have them expedite this Rx.....each time they "said" they would. BET THEY DIDN'T......no contact from this Dr office...nor from company Care+ uses. I should've known this office would "completely underperform".....since all they did was take ca few x rays and tell me my joint replacements looked "fine"....nothing for "why" a titanium knee is sore often----which is reason I booked the appointment. Their overall performance is total failure; but they did hit me up 3x for my $5 co-pay! I'll be filing an official complaint and dispute with both Care + and Medicare. Such a drag.....McClimans seemed semi decent.

Dr Mc Climans performed my shoulder surgery years and years ago... I am astonished that my shoulder still operates and feels better then it ever has... Thank you Dr. Mc Climans for a surgery well done!

So thankful to be seen right away after a slip & fall incident this weekend. Urgent care had me wait 2 hours only to tell me X-ray tech not available. They could have spared me that waste of time and energy. TBBJC squeezed me in, took xray, and set me on an OT path to healing! Thank Dr. MCCLIMANS! You’re the best in Tampa Bay!!

I was called from waiting room on time and Nurse Practitioner Leah came and asked detailed history and Dr McCliman came and answered all my questions.

Dr Mcclimans and his team is go above beyond to provide excellent care to all of there patients. I would highly recommend this practice.

I only had one appointment so far but I feel very good about Dr. McClimens doing my surgery. He is easy to talk to and knowledgeable.

Dr. Mcclimans just did my knee surgery 1 month ago. I can’t say enough good things about him and his staff. He found issues with my knee that was overlooked by Florida Orthopedics. They told me I just had “arthritis “. Dr. Mcclimans investigated further and ordered an MRI which revealed a meniscus tear as well. I opted to have surgery for this tear. I can already tell that it’s going to reduce my pain significantly. I’m not sure what would’ve happened if I never went to this doctor. I guess I would be walking around in pain everyday just thinking it was my arthritis. I highly recommend Dr Mcclimans! God bless him and his staff.

The staff is very incompetent and has the nerve to not take responsibility for their error of scheduling me with the wrong provider andcancelling my appointment last minute .And , they blamed it on me and my phone not going tovoicemail. If you have oscar insurance, do not go there.

Writing this review gives me nothing but pleasure. Dr. McClimans is a great doctor. He has a great bedside manner. He has helped me avoid shoulder surgery for over 4 years. Everyone in the office is very friendly and accommodating, making going to the doctor a enjoyable experience. If you can believe that. Highly recommend them!

Not only did I have to wait a couple months for a consultation. I then had to wait weeks after having gotten an MRI for my follow up appointment. To then be told that I had a torn meniscus, a torn acl, severe osteoarthritis, a chronic osteochondral lesion… And was told he was hoping it’d just be a meniscal tear he could scope. Due to the severity, he pawned me off to another orthopedic surgery. As he was reluctant to do a total knee replacement on me. I wasn’t given any medications, although he drained 60CC of fluid at my original consult. Bedside manor was terrible. I was told he was going to see if he could get me in with his college Dr. Palumbo for a second opinion… As I waited upon his arrival, he never came back. I was then escorted to the front by a nurse who told me, they were unable to schedule the appointment for me. That they wouldn’t be able to give me anything for pain management, and that I’d just have to deal with it until Florida Orthopedic could get me in. Originally on the phone I’d asked the receptionist if I should just start off with Florida orthopedic, and I was told “you can go ahead and try, but they refer everyone to us.” Just to at the end be referred to Florida Orthopedic after all. He is caring in that he listens to your needs, straight forward, very knowledgeable, very nice doctor. His office staff is extremely accomodating and friendly. I highly recommend him for all your Orthopedic needs. He never dissapoints.

The doctor was very nice .

I saw Dr. McClimans in April 2000. He repaired damage sustained to my left knee cartilage and bone from a military surgeon six months prior. My knee was swollen and the prognosis for walking wasn’t very good. He performed a small miracle repositioning and shaping the bone while I watched fully awake. I’ve had some serious challenges in the past two decades, but i want Dr. Climans to know my knee is still holding up. I am 61 now and can walk limited distances when necessary. He is a great surgeon that explained everything in detail, including the part where i may not walk normally again. Today (Jan 2022) I can still get out of bed with both legs thanks to Dr.

Mom appointment was originally for her left sciatica flare. Incidently she had sustained a fall prior to her appointment and fractured her pinky finger which required sutures. They were accommodating and saw her for both problems without hesitation. Every staff member was friendly, courteous and professional. Great office and team!!!

Doctor McClimans is a very good orthopedic surgeon. The incision that he makes is stapled back together with sutures underneath to enhance stability and healing. This method, I feel, is what keeps the scaring down. So far, I'm very pleased with his work.

Not a good experience. Rotator cuff surgery was unsuccessful (2021) as he could not reattached the muscle. Probably due to the 4 months delay to schedule and finish surgery. It was scheduled twice and cancelled, once while I was already on the table. Dr uses his OWN surgical clinic behind his office to make more $$. Unfortunately, if ANYTHING is off they cancel the surgery. For your own wellness and safety, insist on any procedure to be performed in a hospital.

Dr.McClimans is highly recommended by me. He is caring, concerned, listens and takes time to discuss all that is going on, and lets you know why, how and what is needed to be done. Excellent. I have had 6 surgeries with Dr. McClimans so he must be good because I keep coming back. I actually teased him saying I should have a bunch card for a discount/free if I have to have another surgery.

This was my first interaction with Dr. Mcclimans. Even form this visit his genuine love for people was obvious. He is pleasant, warm and caring. I also pleased with his explanation and advice re my condition.

Professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly, Dr. McClimans is an excellent choice!

I was very satisfied with Dr. McCliman's surgery on my knee. During the surgery he took time to explain what he was doing and showed me the damage he was fixing etc. I would go back again if I needed another surgery in the future. The whole operation ran like a well oiled machine from the time I walked in until I left.

My recent & all visits with Dr McClimans has be great. He and his staff are wonderful. You are treated with kindness & care.
