Fred Herndon

He's the best primary I've ever had. He listens and gets referrals to the specialist I need. I've never had problems with refills or anything. He's very good with diabetics.

He was my Dr. for nearly a decade and then due to my lack of Health Coverage he chose to drop me when I needed him most. Do yourself a favor and find a real Dr. who cares about people.

Took my brother to see Dr Herndon because he just moved here and as a diabetic needed a primary care doctor. Dr Herndon was very thorough and attentive. Seemed very concerned about my brother and getting him all the care he needs. His staff was amazing , Chantelle his PA was awesome as well. He has been a great doctor. He listens and really seems to care. He is great at explaining things. When I had problems other doctors couldn’t figure out he did all he could to get to the bottom of things without making me feel like it was just a bunch of necessary tests. I got lucky when I found him.

Wait times are not too bad...

Very professional, fast and Friendly. Dr. Herndon has old school class and new school knowledge.

You must call him and make an appointment for each med you take, he runs test that aren't needed and then never cares to let you know about any test results. A really poor md . Money hungry .

I went in to get my meds refilled cause of my insurance changed and I had gone to him before. What a mistake.. I guess he only refills meds at one per visit.. Other words if your on more then one med you must go back several times to get them refilled. I have been on these meds for year for blood pressure and etc,,, I don't understand why its so hard to get him to refill them, I will be sure to let others know this as I work in Health care myself.

He seems to enjoy educating his patients on any topic that affects his patient's health and interest. He also provides an opinion on any issue. I have had a number of health issues, and he is very good at anticipating problems and dealing with problems quickly. I have CAD, bladder cancer and prostate cancer. Of course, I have specialists in each area, but Dr. Herndon helps me make sense of it all.
