Front staff Veronica was so rude while talking to me.second Doctor if he can be called that franklin chu was arrogant and uncaring to my concerns. First thing he ask was what insurance do you have. I guess that is when he determines how to treat his patients

Dr. Chu treats you like a number. He wrote the date on my prescription incorrectly leading to the pharmacy being unable to fill the pain meds I needed after my surgery. Upon calling his office, Angie wanted to conclude that I couldn’t get my prescription until a completely new prescription was written and Dr. Chu was now out of the office. I refused for that to happen and advocated so that I could get my pain meds that day. Angie finally complied and spoke with the pharmacy. She failed, however, to also account for the antibiotics. The pharmacists proceeded to contact Dr. Chu’s office only to be hung up on 3 times because it was close to 4:30 pm; when the office closes for the day. So, his staff left the pharmacist in limbo because it meant they would have to stay on the line after 4:30 pm. I had to contact the doctor on call to get the antibiotics prescription called in and then they sent the prescription to a different Walgreens pharmacy. When I finally got Dr. Chu to contact me to tell him about what had transpired after my surgery, he brushed it off and said that he didn’t have time for the call because I was complaining. He said, “I have work to do.” He went on a rant about how he had been doing this for 40 years and that I would mainly be dealing with him moving forward. Chu didn’t even apologize for filling out the prescription incorrectly. This place and the staff have seriously amazed me with their lack of accountability. Dr. Chu treats you like a number. He wrote the date on my prescription incorrectly leading to the pharmacy being unable to fill the pain meds I needed after my surgery. Upon calling his office, Angie wanted to conclude that I couldn’t get my prescription until a completely new prescription was written and Chu was now out of the office. I spoke to Chu two days later only to be brushed off by him. He did not want to hear my complaint. He said, “I have work to do.” I'm amazed at his lack of accountability.

Horrible place !! Dr. Chu was so disrespectful towards my father , he wasn’t patient at all with him he was explaining his pain and he wouldn’t pay attention to him clearly saying he’s too busy for him and he has many more people to take care of and asking to come back another day explaining more of his pain areas when that’s what he went for TO GET CHECKED THOROUGHLY . Highly do not recommend worst place to go to !! Don’t put your family at risk of taking your them there when the doctor doesn’t CARE about his patients at all. He tells everyone they have NOTHING. Without checking well. I had to add a freaking star to post this , this place DESERVES NEGATIVE STARS. Horrible place !! Dr.Chu is the most thorough, knowledgable and personable urologist we have been to. There is no beating around the bush with him and speaks to us with respect and explains everything to us in layman's terms if we do not understand. We have upmost respect for him. Your the best Dr. Chu. Oh yeah and your staff is exceptional. They go above and beyond to make us feel special. Kudos to all. Horrible!!! I would rather sit in an ER for hours in pain.

Super rude and short. Came in mumbling and was hard to understand. My husband was there for a consult and he didn’t even introduce himself. He demanded us to look at him eye to eye when he was talking but wouldn’t show us any respect. Like he was a higher power and better than us. He even took papers from my husbands hands( mind you we were instructed to read these papers thoroughly ) like he was small child that needed discipline. Super rude and short. Dr Dong, Is a compassionate doctor who really takes time with his patients.

Dr Chu is very friendly, proffesional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Wait time was non existent.

Abhorrent treatment in this practice by Dr. Franklin Chu. Please avoid him at all costs. I won't go into detail of my experience, but please reconsider any decision or referral to this medical practice.

I'm mid process, and this is one of the best doctors I've ever met. He knows what he's doing, and it helps to give you confidence. His group is one of the best in Southern California. I feel like I'm going to come out of this okay due to his expertise.
