It's no wonder that Dr. Theilen has so many great reviews. He is really great! So personable, spent a lot of time talking to me and went through each option. You can tell he gets to know each patient and has a passion for what he does. I 100% recommend him to anyone needing an ENT. Everyone at the office was great too. From scheduling to check-in and check-out, all went smoothly.

Dr. Thielen removed my entire thyroid due to Graves Disease on 5/13. I have had numerous follow-up appointments with my PCP, Ocuplastic surgeon and endocrinologist and they have all commented on how great my "scar" looks. Honestly you cannot even tell it is there until I point my chin upwards for people to see the scar. I did not have any complications during surgery and Dr. Thielen was so nice and answered all of my questions thoroughly (I had a lot of them). I would definitely recommend him for thyroid surgery. Dr.Theilen and his staff were awesome i went in with a really bad ear ache and left feeling relief! I strongly recomend him and his nurse practitioner i didnt get her name but she identified the problem with my ear in no time!

Dr Theilen is the best Doctor I have EVER had! He’s done two of my surgeries & a procedure on my then 9 yr old son. He is warm, compassionate, sincere & very knowledgeable!

I visited Dr. Theilen last year with some tonsil related issues. It was a really stressful time in my life as a medical device was causing inflammation all throughout my body (among other things), and I had just been a caretaker to a parent that passed away from cancer. Not only did he give some insightful, honest advice, but his bedside manner was beyond what I've experienced from every doctor I've ever seen combined. Despite the craziness surrounding the pandemic, he identified my issue without rushing me, gave me some realistic advice, and calmed my medical fears. Choosing Dr. Theilen was one of the best decisions in my life . He is kind and listens to your case until he comes up with the solution. Truly an experienced professional . I was suffering with tonsillitis for too long until he advised for a tonsillectomy that gave me my life back. The entire process was excellent, from his expertise to his kind staff and hospitality. Dr. Theilen performed a total thyroidectomy due to discovering thyroid cancer. He did an amazing job leaving very little tissue left, avoiding my vocal chords and any parathyroid damage, and left a clean scar. He is very confident and reassuring. I am so grateful to have had him perform my surgery.

I’ve had ear issues my entire life. Dr. Theilen is BY FAR the greatest ENT I have ever seen. So thorough and is willing to take the time you require to review things.

First time with Dr. Theilen. Just leaving the office and i am very, very happy with the services provided. He is very knowledgeable and i really felt secure with his explanations. Was in and out in less then 1hr and half. Nice and courteous staff. Loved talking with the vitals nurse ???? Thank you for the care, it is much appreciated!!

I highly recommend Dr. Theilen. He is the best physician/surgeon I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Thorough and professional yet very caring and listens to his patients. The entire staff was great ! I now know why he was highly recommended by the on call Dr at Legacy ER in Coppell, TX.

I have seen many Dr.'s in my life and my hubby has seen many many because of his health problems. Dr. Theilen is THE kindest, most caring Dr. I have ever known. He took such great care of my husband, called us with the results of his test quickly. He recommended a Dr. for his future care and then called several times to check up on my hubby. Dr did a great job with my stapes prosthetic implant - been working great for years. am thinking it may be time to do the other ear now

Can't recommend Dr. Theilen highly enough! He took the time to listen to all of my issues regarding sleep apnea and was more interested in caring for me as a human being rather than just another mundane patient. He is well-versed on much of the latest research in sleep medicine which is the main reason that I went to see him. His training and skillset as an ENT is also very good, and he was able to aptly describe to me how his profession intersects with sleep medicine/sleep issues for many patients. Most importantly, when I asked for certain recommendations and tasks to be performed, such as the scope procedure to check what I believed was a slightly constricted airway, he had no qualms with this at all and was happy to help in anyway that he could as a medical provider! Dr. Theilen was able to go above and beyond the normal routine of care for a patient by discussing all of my questions over a long visit and most importantly, treating me as a human being with legitimate concerns for my sleep health now and in the future. I went hoping for an exam of my sinuses/nasal passages due to swimming trouble. He spent 1 min glancing in my Es/N/T, then the rest of the time lectured me on swimming, including telling me to use a floatie in the ocean because he "doesn't trust" that I won't panic. It was so uncalled for and demeaning that I started crying in the exam room. He then INSISTED on talking about my allergies, not the purpose of my visit, when I tried to tell him no, he said "I don't know why you're blowing me off."

Dr. Theilen is the only doctor in the metroplex that I will trust to take care of my ears. I've had chronic problems since I was young and am very sensitive to any doctor visits. He is so understanding and gentle with my visits that it even takes the edge off of my anxiety. I would highly recommend him to anyone- he is an excellent ENT!!
