I have never been treated so badly by a doctor! Worst experience of my life!!! Dr RAmharrack is very RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! He refused to see me and said I had an attitude because I was asking how much longer I needed to wait to see him, or if I should reschedule. Acted as if I was causing a scene because I asked a simple question. Then ignored me when i was speaking to him as if he was above me, or too good to respond when I was trying to figure out what was going on. Staff wanted to be helpful, but seemed scared of him. Literally left his office in tears. Called my primary and asked to be referred to someone else. I feel bad for his staff. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL!!!!

Dr. Ramharrack is awesome! If you are looking for a Dr. That is going to sugarcoat everything and tell you what you want to hear you might want to go somewhere else. If you want to get your Diabetes under control I highly recommend him. I’ve been fighting this for over a year and now have it under control with no insulin and only been seeing him for a month! The nurses and staff are so awesome and nice!! Libre 3 is a must!!

My primary doctors office sent a referral to Ramharrack Frank MD office Monday March 20th and his office called later that day and made a appointment for me the very next day Tuesday March 21st, it was my very first appointment with him and I have to say everything went great, the office staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. The doctor is very helpful and great to deal with. I was a little worried after reading all the negative reviews on him and his staff so I'm not sure why they have so many negative reviews. I really don't know what people are expecting from them but I can honestly say I didn't have any of the problems other reviewers are or did have. Got to my appointment early to do new patient paperwork and went right in to the intake nurse for just a few minutes then to the doctor, took less then a hour total in and out, it definitely took longer to drive there than it did to see the doctor. My wife was even impressed how fast they got me in. I wish I could get in to all specialist doctors that fast.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! This was the absolute WORST expression I have ever had with any doctor. He is EXTREMELY rude condescending, and unprofessional! Left his office in tears and immediately called my primary for a referral somewhere else.

First review ever left for a doctor, but felt compelled. Staff and others were good. Dr Ramharrack was the rudest, most condescending doctor I have dealt with in my lifetime. Gave contrary advice to every other dr I have ever had, or any info I have ever read. And did not appreciate follow up questions. Absolutely never going back. Absolutely shocked at his inappropriate demeanor.

I wouldn’t recommend this practice. They are disorganized and dated. Dr. Frank Ramharrack lacks bed side manners the front desk staff (Tina) are unprofessional. My first appointment should’ve been an indicator. I called to ask if the new patient packet could be sent via email to save time once I arrived for my appointment. There were no directions on the email as to where to send the paper to. I emailed it back to the email I received it from. I was advised at my appointment, it was not received as it’s an out going email only. I had to fill the paper work again and who knows who got my information. No apologies offered just a shrug.

Been going to him for some time for diabetes. He asked me one time about my thyroid. And never checked them out. I used to have problems with them. And nobody's checked them for years.

This dr was only interested in glancing at one or two of my blood test results—not the whole picture—and had zero interest in factoring in how I actually felt physically. He gets a zero for patient communication.

I am grateful for this facility. The front office is a bit disjointed. I had to bring the pre-authorization in myself. Other than that no issue. Dr. Ramharrack isn't a bad doctor. I did not experience what I've seen written on other reviews here. He has a very to the point demeanor which I know can rub some people the wrong way. On both of my visits he took the time to sit down with me and go over lab work and next steps. Unfortunately we weren't able to determine what my issue that I've been dealing with for over a year is but we were able to rule out what it is not and then I was referred back to urology. Sometimes with big medical issues that's what you have to do. Here in Ocala there is a shortage of endocrinologists and I would recommend this place for how fast they move. I'm a new patient and I've been trying to make an appointment for almost 3 weeks. DO NOT trust them when they say they will call you back. THEY NEVER DO. After my visit, I will edit. *As stated, I'm editing my review. * The office is very nice. Staff was friendly. Dr Ramharrack was good. He isn't very personable but, I don't care about that. The public can be exasperating. He seemed concerned about my medication which was more than my last endo. Overall, it was a good experience. Total waste of time. Wouldn't go over anything until we had an MRI done, then we would have to come back to go over "everything" and when I asked what "everything" was he said medical history, current medications, lab work (that we already done and he has the results Infront of him), a new medication and the MRI results. Refused to discuss any of it until after the MRI. We asked why we can't go over it all now since we are already in the office and discuss the medication he was recommending and do the MRI after. I did like Dr Ramharrack, however, office policy is now you see a NP two out of three visits. I haven't seen the Dr in almost 6 months. When I said I wanted to see the specialist I considered my doctor, he (Dr R) told me to find a new doctor. I guess he wants to collect from me and my insurance when he's not even in the building.

This physician is lacks tact and is extremely rude and disrespectful. Never have I been more angry and embarrassed in a formal doctor's visit than with this individual.

Dr Ramharrack has taken great care of me over the years. I highly recommend this doctor.

This office is very unprofessional! The office staff is rude and completely disorganized! I was hired on the spot worked one week then let go through a text message while on lunch break saying “my services were no longer needed” no further explanation. This was just after they were so impressed and gave me nothing but high praises. I was offered no training and very little assistance when asking for help. The person that was supposedly training me only showed up for two days total. The Office Manager, if that’s what you can call her, wouldn’t even show up to work till after lunch and again offer no help in learning the job. The staff would be rude and disrespectful to clients and people who made phone calls.This is very much a family run business and is not interested in becoming an up to date office as they are not current in medical office staffing, equipment, or information. Staff is horrible

Horrible staff doesn’t return calls

The place is horrible. Dr Ramharrack takes no time to explain anything at all, he stands with one foot in the room and one in the hallway almost my entire visit. He’s never went over my levels with me or discussed much of anything at all with me. He’s made me feel stupid with questions I’ve asked and brushed off important ones. My first visit he did an ultrasound and then handed me a piece of paper that he had circled Graves Disease on and walked out without explanation of what I had. He’s adjusted my medicine without checking my levels and waited 6+ weeks to check it again even though I had called and complained about feeling sick. His staff is unorganized and never calls you back. I had to personally drive all the way the office, which is 45 minutes from my house and demand them refill my medicine because I had called SEVERAL times and nobody got back with me. I am in the process of switching doctors now. The place is horrible. Horrible experience without ever seeing the doctor. My primary referred me to this doctor to biopsy some lumps on my thyroid. I called several times, leaving messages. In total, I called seven times over three weeks, leaving messages that I had called previously and needed a biopsy; asking them to return my call. NOTHING! Not one call back. Don’t waste your time waiting for this doctor’s office to return your call!

Never answers their phone or gives a call back. Office is very unorganized. I had a scheduled appoint for one time and then they confirmed it for another time. I am staring at my appointment card that the lady hand wrote with the time on it. The Dr is okay, not rude, but not nice either.

My daughter went for a thyroid follow which has been active for a bit and none active for longer. Next thing you know without compassion tells her she has a node and it could cancerous. This practice has been going down hill for years...staff always changing...Prescriptions wrong...Not answering phones or returning messages...Doctor not engaged with errors or patient complaints. Stay away from this practice...poor overall!!!

This Doc doesn't seem to answer patient calls. We have tried for three weeks to get a call back or appointment for one of his diabetic patients that needs an emergent insulin adjustment.

AVOID THIS PLACE I called as a new patient and setup an appointment in two weeks. When I showed up it turns out they had put the wrong month in. If they can screw up something that basic imagine what will happen with anything else.

If you are looking for a bedside manner, this is not the place to go. Staff is friendly, appointments are generally on time, doctor is knowledgeable.

Very professional

Is my doctor for years.

No...staff & Doctor...rude and any errors blame on patient not staff. Issued wrong prescriptions on more than 1 occasion. Do not answer phone or return calls in timely manner. Stay clear of this practice - which seems to be what they are doing "practicing" and still haven't got it right! LOOK ELSEWHERE!

This is a good dr and good office staff. Dr is a straight talker. As a military man u respect that but the people who complain about his bedside manner are not used to being told the truth. Hang in there people and just be honest with him. He cares more about you then you know.

I have seen Dr ramharrack 2x. Both times he has been professional. He always asks if I have questions and takes the time to address them. He has never made my visit feel rushed. I feel comfortable seeing him on a regular or as needed basis for my condition. His staff has also been very nice and pleasant.

I have been seeing the Doctor for over 5 years for type 1 diabetes. He is always concerned about my overall health as it effects the diabetes. He is very direct with regards to what I am doing to manage my diabetes. Do not expect him to sugar coat things, he wants you to have the best outcome, but that requires being honest with yourself. I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor after frank told me I was just fat and it was my fault. (Weight isn’t my issue at all)

I went with my spouse to the doctor and I was not allowed to go back with my husband during his biopsy. I wanted to ask questions and get some answers as a spouse since he is my only relative left. I wanted to find out about diet exercise things like that to see if what my husband condition is. So I would not recommend this doctor to anybody he has the worst bedside manner he's rude and doesn't consider family and his medical practice because of my past working with my mom and being with my mom and grandmother during their bouts of cancer family was vitally important to their health and this doctor was inconsiderate rude and egotistical and I find that very offencive he is not a good doctor he may be the best at what he does but he's not good at all so when you think of him thank bad. I have seen this Dr for ten years he has me on the right track my thyroid were removed due to cancer I'm 72 years old and I can't thank him enough for keeping me stable wether he has bad side manners or not he is not there to entertain me his there to see that he keeps me as healthy as he can

He is a great doctor....the only doctor to have helped me with thyroid issues...his office employees are very nice and helpful...!

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. His staff is unorganized and he doesn't have good bedside manners. None of my visits with him had been fantastic, but my last visit with this office is what drew the line for me. They called me to come in a few days earlier than I was supposed to, which I found a bit odd and questioned them about, but they insisted it was right. When I came in, one of the nurses told me I was to have a biopsy on my thyroid and began going over the procedure process with me. I was not notified beforehand or had any prior knowledge about this!! I was freaking out, as most would, and she was completely unsympathetic. I explained that I wasn't told any of this before this appointment and she decided to go double check. When she did, she found they made a mistake and I wasn't supposed to have a biopsy from the start. I type that story to show unorganized they are and how they treat their patients with little sympathy. If you do decide to go with this office, just be aware of what you might be dealing with. I had been seeing Dr. Ramharrack for over a year and his demeanor got worse over time. The staff have always been super helpful and friendly and I wish I could say they same about the Dr. Dealing daily with Hashimoto's and Hypothyroidism can be a struggle in itself, and can leave you feeling tired and emotional; the Dr. is the one person you hope to be compassionate and understanding because that's what they're there for..to help you. Doctors should know this is how a dis-functioning Thyroid can make you feel! He obviously didn't learn this in medical school. After explaining the up's and down's I had been feeling because of this disease he wanted to put me on depression medicine..I have a Thyroid Problem! Help me fix the problem instead of masking it! Fantastic doctor. Very knowledgeable.

I thought he was a very knowledgeable doctor. I didn't feel rushed, and I truly felt like he wanted me to understand what was going on with my body.

Dr. Ramharrack and staff are very nice and professional. Dr. Ramharrack is very patient and helpful and is great at what he does. I had a great experience and will continue seeking his care.

Great doctor. Phone lines always busy. Sometimes takes hours to get here kid of. What doctor office does not have multiple phone lines or as answering machine to call u back.

When I went in for my appointment none of my records had been transferred over, so I expected a long wait. But within 15 minutes all my records were there from two other doctors.He was professional and it didn't feel like he was rushing me in and out. He took time to ask me questions and about family history. He was very thorough. If you are looking for a doctor to joke around with you he is not the one for you. But if you are looking for a good doctor, this is the guy.

My son has been treated for thyroid with a different doctor and was not feeling well; the doctor was not prescribing the right dose. A friend recommended Doctor Frank Ramharrack, He was very professional; after the first visit my son thyroid was immediately control and my son feels much better.
