I have been seeing dr.parke for about 6 years for RA He was amazing to me . I recently had a baby and a sick grandmother to take care of and haven’t made a few appts this past year and got terminated from the office. Almost out of medication and pretty scared about it they told me there’s nothing they can do for me. Pretty disappointed in how they treated me and to lose what I thought was a decent dr.

I had a great experience with Dr. Parke. He took the time to walk through every little thing with me and thoroughly explained what each line of the bloodwork/testing meant. I was very anxious going to this appointment, but I left with great peace of mind. I highly recommend Dr. Parke for rheumatology!

Words cannot express how truly blessed I feel to have Dr. Parke as my rheumatologist. I’ve seen multiple specialists from various fields for over 30 years and I can say without a doubt that he is definitely one of the very best if not the best! As we went over my lengthy health history he explained my condition(s) as well as prognosis and treatment options in great detail. He even took extra time to answer my additional questions. Great doctor- in all aspects!!! I’ve been a patient of Dr Parke for several years. I came to him with mild RA but had trouble moving around in the mornings and had limited mobility during the day, making exercise a painful ordeal. He was able to manage my RA with medication only. I have near full mobility now even with Stage 4 cancer and am on a regular exercise regime. He monitors my health regularly and spends time talking with his patients to truly get to know them and understand their underlying health issues.

Has taken care of my neighbor and I for years. He’s very personable and takes his time.

You would be hard pressed to find a doctor who will take the time to explain what is happening to your body and why like Dr. Parke does. His experience and instinct makes him one of the best if not THE BEST in the Woodlands-Houston area. I know because I went to quite a few Rheumatologists till I finally found him. Dr. Parke is great! He goes over everything in detail and explains how the medications work treating the R.A. He made me feel better about my diagnosis and has helped me get out of pain. I'm very lucky to have found such a good Dr.

Dr. Parke is by far one of the best doctors on the planet. My mother has suffered from what we thought was Rheumatoid arthritis for roughly 3 years. Only to get to him and find out that she was misdiagnosed all this time. He could of easily sent us on our way. Instead, he took the time to find out what was wrong . He was genuinely concerned about her health and ran every test needed to get down to the root of her issue. Thank you Dr. Parke and staff for taking such good care of my husband. He was in a very painful gout flare and the office staff was very quick to pay attention and get him in for treatment. The doctor listened to his complaint and then explained everything in detail about his treatment and answered all our questions. His staff is very knowledgeable, compassionate and cares for the patients. We have great confindence in your office and we would recommend this place to anyone who was in need of a rheumatologist. I have been Dr. Parke's patient for over 13 years now (I have ankylosing spondylitis). Through, high school, undergrad and my doctorate. Always a pleasure seeing him and I am a horrible patient (I miss my appointment a lot). He makes sure to tell you all your options and makes sure that you won't be left high and dry just because of insurance processing. If you need blood work etc, they are in the same building which makes everything a lot easier. Would definitely recommend him to everyone. Tried to make a new patient appointment. Receptionist said I needs to be referred I have a ppo insurance plan. I've been to several doctors and never heard of that. I guess hes too good to see someone that needs help and answers! Very disappointed

I was meeting a client to sign extremely urgent legal papers. Dr. Parke’s Medical Assistant, Monique called my client about 8 min early for her appt. my client politely asked for just a minute to finish reading the document she was signing (literally only 1 paragraph left). Monique rolled her eyes, scoffed and said “I’ll get to you when I can” and left. She ce back 30 seconds later and said she had to keep the dr on schedule and she had to take her back now. My client and I went back and when in the room my client asked the nurse about the “mass on her MRI” she called her about on the phone. Monique got very defensive and told my client she was wrong and she “never said mass, and looking at the MRI she doesn’t see a mass.” Monique is a medical assistant, not a Dr. and she probably hasn’t even had certificated training to read an MRI. She was very rude to my client. When De. Parke came in, my client politely told him she was upset and Dr. Parke accused her of yelling at Monique and when I informed him she was rude the whole time, he said “I understand but I hate starting my day with animosity... and I can’t comtinue to discuss this.” Clearly, bedside manner is not his forte, neither is patient care or general customer service. He’s not up to par with CHI St. Luke’s customer service and shouldn’t be allowed to practice under their banner. If you want a Dr. who cares about you and your needs, go elsewhere. Very knowledgeable and caring. Up-to-date on the most recent treatments, yet does not push you to take the latest and greatest. He educates you along the way , and working together, helps to come up with the optimal treatment plan for you.

Dr Parke takes time to explain and educate. Schedules business to allow important interaction and discussion with patients. Explains full range of options with range of anticipated outcomes and potential risk. Very mature medical professional.

Dr Parke is AMAZING!! I've been seeing him since I moved here from Oregon to Texas for my autoimmune inflammatory arthritis (Ankylosing Spondylitis). He takes time to listen and answer questions. Makes sure to explain things so you understand what is going on. Goes through notes from previous screenings, tests, and dr's thoroughly. He does not rush through the appointment. I have had R/A for 30+years. In that time I have been to numerous Dr's of Rheumatology. I have moved around the country from Virginia to Georgia to Florida and now I live in Texas. Dr Parke is the most knowledgeable and best Rheumalogist I have ever met. I highly recommend him to anyone suffering from R/A.

Dr Parke is one of the best Doctors (not just RA) I have ever had in my entire life ... he goes out of his way to understand how you are feeling, what changes are happening and even listen to all your chattering about life in general ... Today (Saturday) I left a message about taking certain medications with my RA medications and was confused ... he took time ... on a Saturday to return my phone call ... I have recommended Dr Parke to several people in the past 3 years ... he is the BEST!

My experience with Dr Parke has been nothing but excellent. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen. His goal is to give you relief & alleviate your discomfort. If the treatment he recommends doesn’t work he searches for one that will work. Can’t imagine anyone not being pleased with him as a doctor.

Dr. Parke has been my rheumatologist for a few years. He is very knowledgeable about my condition and always takes time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel like they are stupid questions. His office is run very professionally and you are likely to get someone on the phone (even for medical questions) the first time you call, and if not they return phone calls the same day! They are on top of sending fax requests when my insurance or Humira savings require them. Free parking and the lab for blood work is right down the hall so you can get it done the same day.
