Dr. Frank F Mussemann

He is funny, laid back, and made me feel seen and totally comfortable for my whole delivery experience. I would love to have him deliver all my future babies and my future health care.

I have been Dr. Mussemann's patient for over 25 years. I am in good health and have two healthy children because of the quality of health care I received from Dr. Mussemann. I was able to reach Dr. Mussemann anytime for questions and care. He cares a lot about his patents. My daughter starting seeing him many years ago and she agrees that he is a wonderful doctor. All his years of experience and knowledge and many other positive attributes makes him a wonderful doctor. I am thankful that Dr. Mussemann is my doctor and takes care of my daughter too.

He is very professional. He delivered my twins in 2000 and 13 years later, he performed my Hysterectomy. My daughter turns 22 this month, and I wouldn't think twice about referring her to Dr. Mussemann.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I've Never been treated so Terribly by a "Dr" like I was from him. He had the people inform me how unimportant I was, then after waiting 6hrs, he up and left me in preop to go to a different hospital. By the way, I was there because I had miscarried and was in need of a 10-15 minute procedure!!!! AWFUL/HEARTLESS

I have been going to Dr. Frank Mussemann for a few years now. I was having some problems, he did some tests and discussed my situation and all my options very clearly. I decided to have a total hysterectomy. The surgery went very well and he personally called with the results of the pathology which is very nice to hear it from him and not a nurse. He listens and answers questions clearly and explains things well. He is caring and makes you feel very comfortable especially with the exam, which are never really comfortable. He always has some helpful medical advice to share. He takes his time with you and it never seems like he is rushing out the door. Dr. Mussemann is friendly and very personable with a fun nature and I feel he genuinely likes people and his profession. He will at some point tell a joke which is nice to have a laugh to lighten things up. I trust Dr. Mussemann and am so thankful for his care.

Dr. Frank did my hysterectomy a couple of years ago. I had a wonderful experience with him. He had a great bedside manner. He is not my primary physician, but I was referred to him for the surgery. After a bunch of followup appointments, I am now on a as-needed basis as I am back with my regular primary physician. He does have a different sense of humor, but I really liked him.

I’m sure he’s absolutely phenomenal at delivering babies given his great reviews but if you have issues such as endometriosis or cysts than it may be wise to find a different provider. After waiting 2.5 hours to see him (which i completely understood and typically not a problem because he’s an obstetrician, that’s their job to deliver babies, this also usually means they are thorough with patients), I didn’t feel like he truly listened to any issue that I had. I didn’t understand his dry sense of humor. Honestly, he came off to me as just plain arrogant with horrible bedside manner. The pain I was having was real and how this effects my daily life and preserving my fertility. Any educated provider on endometriosis should have been more concerned. I have never felt as bad as I did leaving that office that day. I’m also not one to give reviews on doctors but in this case I was shocked at the lack of care I received.

I feel the same as you. I want to report it but fear I'd only be shamed and disbelieved. My experience was worse than yours even. Thinking I should muster up the courage to report him. If I'm not alone in my perception, then there must be others. He seemed quick to just want to examine me, didn't address my concerns, had no compassion, and stared at my chest too. There's more. I just don't want to be dismissed if I put this in a spotlight. But I hate to think- know- we can't be the only ones.

Daughter lost identical twin daughters @ 23 weeks . Doctor was told she needed to be monitored closely ,He failed!!

Just like his wife I will never see him again. I heard nothing but amazing things so I made an appointment with my 2nd pregnancy. The first thing he did was compliment my chest tattoos which are not that great and the only part of my skin showing. He couldn't keep his eyes off my chest area with my husband sitting right next to me. When we left my husband immediately mentioned that he was uncomfortable and I agreed. That is the one doctor that you shouldn't be made uncomfortable.

He had delivered my son 15 years ago. When I needed to have a hysterectomy I new just where to go. He is a wonderful Dr he listens to what you want and tries his best to do just that. I Thank GOD for Doctors like him and his staff.

Dr. Frank has helped me survive through 3 pregnancies and c-sections, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. As a high risk patient with type 1 diabetes, I was immediately handed to Dr. Frank when my first ob/gyn in the office learned I was pregnant. It took a few appointments for me to understand that, through his straight forward yet humerous approach, he truly cares for each patient, and I now compare every doctor I encounter to Dr. Frank. Of corse, no other doctor compares!

He's a wonderful doctor. I highly recommend him. Excellent bedside manner.

After 2 hours and 15 minutes of waiting (which it seems 2 hours is typical for this doctor) he acted like he did not have time with me. This was our first meeting and he was to deliver my baby, yeah..i don't think so. I may not be his only patient, but he is my ONLY doctor and I expect to have his attention during my visit.
