Dr. Frank P Maggiacomo

Dr. Maggiacomo is hands down best!! I have been seeing him for 16 years now, wouldn’t consider anyone else. He is always thorough, he takes his time to discuss labs etc., explain everything, answers all questions, and I never feel rushed during appts. Couldn’t be more comfortable having him as my doctor and my health in is hands.

Dr Maggiacomo has been treating my family for over 25 years He’s dedicated knowledgeable thorough and the most caring physician I have had the pleasure to know In another time he would be making house calls

Finding a new primary physician. They seldom answer the phone and never return calls. I'm filing a complaint with the RI Dept. Health

Dr Maggiacomo had treated three generations of my family. He is the best, Marty is doing a great job handling an extremely busy office. I call every month about one of my scripts and she makes sure that refills and referrals get done! Thank You for being there for my family for the past thirty years .

Very disappointed with the professionalism of the office. After trying for 1 hour to get through to book an appointment I was abruptly told I needed to find a new primary physician because the one I was seeing left. Not a suggestion like "lets make an appointment with Dr. Maggiacomo himself"... basically go find another physician. fine I will gladly go elsewhere. My mother is a patient but when she calls the office no one ever picks up the phone!

Dr. Maggiacomo is a very attentive physician. He spends time to listen to any concerns and addresses them. His office staff could take a lesson from him.

Office is terrible. Hard to get appointments; then they cancel at last minute. They do not update contact numbers.

Dr Maggiacomo is a caring individual. He is an amazing Dr in his field. My mother has been a patient of his for over 40 yrs. with his guidance and treatment my mom is still here with us.

The front desk is the worse I have ever dealt with in my life. They leave you on hold until you finally hang up. You try to tell them what you need and they do not listen and end up doing the wrong thing causing you more of a problem. You ask for a copy of the labs you need to bring to a specialist and they say they will be ready for sure and they are NOT!! Then when you call to tell them, your on the phone again until you finally give up. You go back there again and they give you the wrong ones. Then you have to wait for them to locate them. Again your on the phone holding until the phone hangs up on you. When you call back upset they get mad a you for being upset. Let’s look at the whole pic here these ladies up front have their hands full. Not only are they receptionist they are Medical assistants as well. I'm not the patient myself but I frequently go with a family member and the office staff are terrible! They never call back when they are supposed to. They don't listen to what your saying when your trying to explain something the Md said and they are not very compassionate. Your either made to work with patients or your not and they are not, however since they are family members of the doctor I doubt we will ever see a change in the staff or their behavior. I would never recommend this office to anyone I care about. It is a shame that the doctor is getting a "bad name" simply because he can't speak up to his inconsiderate staff. My family member does like the doctor himself and has good things to say about him. The md is known on the streets as Dr. Candyman so if that's your thing he's the man for you, but don't expect to pick up your prescriptions when expected because again the #1 staff won't have it ready or say that you never left a message, when you obviously did or you wouldn't have expected it to be ready. Dr. Maggiacomo is an awesome doctor and simply a real nice guy. His office, on the other hand! I called months ago to reschedule an appointment not still have not heard anything. On several occasions I've called to speak to the doctor about a medical situation and have either got no response at all or it was days later. Frank tries to be polite and blame the phone system, but that excuse is three years old.

He is the best wish every month he was here with us. you will never find anyone better than Dr. Maggiacomo

Love this Dr, He is genuine, honest, nice, caring, what more could you want in a primary care doctor. I trust him completely and I am very happy to have him as my Doctor ! Hard to get in with but worth the wait !

Frank M is by far the best primary I could ever have hoped to have. He is a great man to talk to, he's a realist and doesn't give you the whole you-should-be-doing-this better routine. He gives you the straight scoop you need to hear and encourages you along the way get better.
