Did not rush. Answered questions. Made good suggestions

My meet and greet was a pleasant surprise. Most doctors make you wade through NP's etc before you ever get to see them and then they don't take the time to get to know you. Dr. C was very pleasant and we seem to have the same philosophy about conventional medicine. I felt very comfortable with him. Direct eye contact was good:-) I felt also that he was not only listening but gave me some important input. Compared to last 2 docs I visited, he's hands down more personable and understands functional medicine which is what my focus is. I'll update this review when I've had an opportunity to spend more time with him. Next visit will be when his insurance coverage is completed (soon).

Dr. Contacessa was my primary for 4 years or so until I recently moved out of the area unfortunately. Best primary I’ve ever had. I didn’t need to see him much, but when I did you could tell he genuinely cares. Also just a real cool guy to talk to.. not to mention he makes guest appearances on one of my favorite tv shows haha. Contacessa refused my request to do an EKG despite knowing I have a heart condition. A few days later I was in the emergency room. I’ll leave the reader to draw their own conclusion as to what rating he should get.

My husband and myself came to Dr.Contacessa as new patients. Our first visit with him was a meet and greet . We found Dr. Contacessa to be very professional, thorough, and concern for our preexisting conditions. We felt very comfortable with him and found it very easy to talk to him . Dr.Contacessa will be our new primary and we look forward to seeing him at the time of our yearly physical this year.

Dr Contessesa is a great doctor. Knows his stuff and is good about providing referrals to specialists when needed, but also listens to patients and is very respectful and approachable. This practice frequently is able to schedule appointments as soon as the next day, and is very on top of returning calls.

Dr. Contacessa is a caring and attentive physician. He takes as much time as is needed to answer questions, share diagnosis, share his own concerns for his patient's health and future treatment options. This practice makes it possible to get a last minute appointment on Saturday's, which is pretty much unheard of. My only complaint, which has nothing to do with the excellent care, is that if you call the office after 11:00 am, you could have trouble getting through until at least 2:00 pm. That said, the care and attention provided by Dr. Contacessa is top notch. He will always return calls and will get back to you when he says he will. Patient, friendly, attentive, caring and easy to talk to.

Dr. Contacessa is very responsive, schedules enough time and allows for emergency calls. Overall, the service is excellent.

Terrible, treats younger patients like their drug addicts while servicing elderly with loyalty. My parents go to him and he is so attentive, so they referred me to him and he basically told me there was nothing he could do for me. Doctors like him, who are cocky and waste people's time are the worst. Disgusting.

Dr. Contacessa saw me for a last minute appointment yesterday which I really appreciated. He is a thorough, patient and compassionate doctor.

Always a great experience. Always professional. Both Dr. Contacessa and Dr. Cohen are always accessible and they offer that small town feel within a modern medical practice. Highly recommend.

Dr. Contacessa is amazing! Bright and kind! My husband and I have been his patients since 2010. He is brilliant, knowledgeable and thorough. He is calm, patient and has incredible bed side manor and professionalism. Dr Contacessa has balances kind and caring demeanor, yet extremely bright and sharp. Easy to get appointment and very little wait time - yet not rushed. Highly recommend him.

Great doctor, makes you feel very comfortable.

Dr. Contacessa has been able to remain a small town family doctor despite all the changes in the health care environment over the last several years.

I am a 40+yr old male and have been a patient of Dr. Contacessa for over 10yrs. He always takes the time to listen and explain medical conditions and never feel like I am being rushed. He is an excellent physician and would highly recommend him. LT

The entire experience was terrible. He was unprofessional and didn't seem to know what he was doing. He made me uncomfortable so I left as soon as I could. One star is all he deserves.
