Dr. Carter was my Mothers Dr after colorectal surgery 3 year prior; she had a colon rupture, was hospitalized and suddenly went into cardiac distress. He forced his way into a surgery suite and saved her life. She had cancer again. He also repaired a hernia, gave her an ostomy and she’s virtually cancer free. Dr Carter is our trusted source of medical information. He’s compassionate and professional.

Top notch Dr. I had issue with my colon. Dr. Carter corrected the issue and found a gall stone that he removed, at the same time. I have since relocated out of the State, however, I will return to the area every year for my yearly appointment with Dr. Carter. Great Doctor!

We loved Dr. Carter. He has a no-nonsense approach and is very straight forward with his explanations. The credit card payment seems a bit off for sure as every establishment accepts credit cards. We had to hustle to get cash to pay. I wonder if the doctor knows of the hardship it imposes to those who visit for the first time. The staff were very polite and pleasant. We have to go back for future treatment and hope things will work out great in terms of treatment. Will be carrying cash for sure.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Carter today and it was the best experience I had in healthcare in a long time. Every member of his staff I interacted with was pleasant and friendly, and he seemed to understand exactly the treatment I was seeking and provided it.

Dr Carter did a great job My Resection of my Small bowel .. but his off staff Sick and have no empathy for the patients .. I had a bal of$20 they don’t take cc unless I’d over $30 or something . However life happens I missed the payment called to make follow up pt was told can’t get a spot until bal is paid WOW.. told I be there I got busy forgot go in off on March 5 2019 was told my bill was now $50 remember I said his off staff is RUDE .. I was told I could not come back to my attitude ..

I saw Dr Carter for a 2nd opinion for treatment of a twisted colon since he specializes in colorectal surgery. At the appointment, he thoroughly reviewed the condition and best options and took all the time needed. Dr Carter set everything up on short notice and even though it was major colon surgery, I was walking in a day, back to work in 8 days and pain-free. Everything happened just as Dr Carter said it would, there were absolutely no complications and the recovery was quick A big relief

Received gallbladder removal after admission into the ER. Surgery appeared to go ok. Post surgical findings, improper sutures, antiquated incision placement and to much to list. Had to seek additional doctor to correct his wrong doings. After speaking with his peers they suggested he should have retired long ago. Lastly beware of the paperwork you sign (without explanation) on your post op visit. They charge an "administrative fee" every month if you can't make your payments in full.

Had an appointment with Dr. Carter. Never saw Dr. Carter!! Receptionist was rude and un-accommodating. Office only accepts cash for co-pay. (Seem shady or at least an archaic way of operating any business in 2017) I thought my co-pay was $20. Turns out it was $40. I only had $20 with me. I was turned away! ---Unbelievable! Ted Niemczyk

He performed a bowel resection, as well as removal of my gallbladder. Because of this I developed a hernia while still in the hospital. He, Dr. Carter, claimed it was just swelling and that it would go down. Well, over two years later the swelling has Not gone down, and has proven to be a hernia!
