I went in with hip pain after a fracture and hip pinning. Dr Romero was incredibly professional, and informative as to what I would need to do. He explained everything so throughly and put me completely at ease with regard to my injection. The entire staff was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Docs at this practice make time for last minute appointments especially when patients are in pain.

Dr Romero is knowledgeable, intelligent, articulate and provides treatments and options for my knee injuries that none of the many Doctors I have consulted with are able to provide. Thanks to Dr Romero my bone-on-bone knee damage is something that I no longer have to suffer with. Every knee “specialist” that I spoke with before Dr Romero told me that my only option was to endure the pain with prescription medication until I am old enough to have both knees replaced. What an Amazing doctor!! He truly listens to his patients and make sure all of their needs are met. I went in with terrible leg pain that no-one could figure out, which ended up being a cyst in my leg. He immediately drained it and I left with no more severe pain in my leg. I could not thank him enough for listening to me and figuring out what was wrong and helping me through it! He is Definitely the best!

My experience with Dr Romero was unique. He took the time to explain to me what I had in my shoulder through ultrasound. I had an injury in my shoulder for years and he is an expert in ultrasound guided injections. It is certainly one of the few orthopedics that can treat you this way. Dr. Francisco Romero is a superb Doctor. He has helped me with my hip pain where no other Doctor could truly find the issue. I have been to this location looking for a plan on old injuries in the past. Both Dr Romero and Dr Fishman work great together and with the patient. I recently went there with an emergency and i could have not expected any less from this office and Dr Romero. The time he spends with each individual concern is so comforting. After receiving positive feedback from a friend who was treated by Doctor Romero, I scheduled an appointment with him to get a consultation regarding an issue I’ve been having with my foot. Upon arriving to his office, I was able to find parking immediately as the parking lot was large enough to accommodate several vehicles. Once inside, I observed the facility to be clean and up to date. I was promptly greeted by the front desk staff who were very kind and helpful in answering my questions and getting me situated. The X-ray technician who X-rayed my foot, was very pleasant and very patient in helping me get into the proper angle (due to my lack of mobility) to take a snapshot of my foot. While consulting with Doctor Romero, he listened to my concerns and offered several avenues to which to travel towards in resolving my issue. After discussing in length my options, I was confident in Doctor Romero’s strategy in finally bringing me some relief and getting my foot on the mends. D

Dr. Romero was very professional and affectionate at the same time. He took the time to go over my MRI disc images in detail with my husband and myself and also did an ultrasound to make sure he was giving me the most exact diagnosis for my knee injury. I left very pleased and have recommended Dr. Romero to others.

This was my first experience visiting the South Florida Spine & sports Specialist. I’m a Navy Veteran and the Miami VA Hospital out source my treatments to this office. Dr. Romero and his assistant welcomed me in a very up beat friendly way. Lots of energy and a passion in helping me with my knee issues, and Dr. Romero’s team are just as incredible as well..! I’ve had the opportunity to be treated by Dr. Romero on several occasions. Dr. Fishman referred me to him so he could give me an ultrasound guided injection into my torn hamstring that has been plaguing me for almost 2 years. Dr. Romero was very professional and extremely passionate about putting my needs first. Went as a new patient to see Dr. Romero after a knee injury. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze, staff was attentive and they even fit me in same day! The practice is very clean very modern. My rating has nothing to do with the in office care. My rating is because upon leaving the practice, I anticipated receiving a print out of my condition and the service that were rendered to me. I was told I was going to be excused from work and physical activity for two weeks however a note was never provided. I’ve contacted the office two times for a work note to excuse my absence and I am still awaiting said note. Dr.Romero was excellent. He took a long time with me explaining all my symptoms and used the ultrasound to show me my knee. The office staff is also vey nice and I got an appointment right away.

My experience with Dr Romera far surpassed my expectations. He was not only thorough in his exam but he listened to me. He asked me questions pertinent to my situation and condition and took the time to gather all the information including medical records and then took the time to tell me what was going on and how we would proceed to get me on the road to recovery. It wasn't long before I was able to get my life back. And with therapy by a very talented and gifted staff I am doing quite well

Very efficient and thorough, he had me get a second mri because the mri that I had gotten independently was blury and questionable-appearing like surgery was maybe needed. He sent me for the second mri within 3 days and reviewed the mri results the following day. Very pleased because the second mri showed much more clearly the questionable area and it was determined that I do not need surgery after all. Thank you for squeezing my appointment in so quickly and for your wonderful bedside manner.

Dr.Romero takes his time and explains all options available for the issue . He does not do unnecessary treatments that won’t further the healing . We now have several members of our family that see Dr.Romero and would prefer driving the distance then going to a doctor that is near their home.

I was referred to Dr. Romero after I had a car accident that required rehab. His office is easy to find and the staff were friendly and prompt. The office was modern and clean. My wait was about 15 minutes. Dr. Romero was professional and spent time listening to me and discussing my treatment options. I will be returning over the next two months for rehab and rehabilitation.
