Very professional, knowledgeable, thorough, informative and yet friendly. I have known and trusted Dr. Otero for years as my mother's cardio physician and now mine. He definitely is easy to talk to and has a delightful sense of humor. The cardio office is safe with all protections taken.

doctor otero is a very fine doctor but he has the worst staff you could imagine..they could care less that you are out of medications and need help ASAP

Everyone was very nice and professional. Dr. Otero was wonderful, very thorough and explained everything to me and my husband.

I have gone to Dr. Otero for years. He has seen me through stints and referred to other doctors as needed. He and staff are the best. I would not hesitate to recommend him anyone with cardio problems.

Dr Otero was quite thorough in his explanation of my condition. Speaking to me in "laymans" terms I understood what needed to be done, when and where. I appreciated this very much.

I have been his patient for at least 15 to 20 years. He is extremely intelligent and helpful and excellent at listening to my problems. I have recommended him to many people and will continue to do so.

Dr. Francisco Otero is a caring professional who is genuinely interested in the health of his patients. He always takes the time to personally talk with patients to listen to their concerns. I am very happy with the care and service he provides.

We feel very blessed to have a doctor who is caring and takes time to make sure the patient understands their diagnosis and plan of care. The staff is just so friendly and personable. Makes your appointment reassuring.

My initial visit with Dr. Otero & staff left me very impressed with their professionalism and caring. With my second visit a year later I was blown away. When Dr. Otero walked into the exam room his first words to me were “you cut your hair”. That told me he was a doctor who not only was observant and cared about his patients but would listen to what you said & your concerns. That spoke volumes to me. He is #1 in my books & the first one I would recommend.

Prompt, caring, precise, accurate...friendly...

Dr Otero has always takes his time with me to explain why a procedure is needed. He does not rush thought a visit and he listen to you. Dr. Otero really cares about is patient. His staff is excellent! I wish he had Doctors Privilege with the Hospital in Kyle, TX.

Dr Otero is professional, patient and explained the tests that will be performed. He did not rush thought the visit, hr listened. That is important especially in the initial visit.

Dr Otero always takes the time to explain to me the how’s and why’s of any procedure. He always asks how Things are going in my life. He is a great doctor and I would go to no one else. Definitely make your appointment with him.

Dr. Otero is an amazing physician. He was careful to listen patiently to all concerns and ordered tests based on risk factors. I highly recommend Dr. Otero to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient and kind cardiologist. Dr. Otero truly cares for his patients and I cannot say enough great things about him and his staff. Great Doctor who always has time to visit beyond your “health issues”and examines beyond the machines. He tries to understand what’s going on in your life which might affect your health. I have been a patient of Dr Otero for over 10 years. He and all of his staff are fantastic. I highly recommend Cardio Texas. Everyone is friendly and efficient.

I was really pleased with the tests and evaluations done by Dr Otero and his staff. Not all was good, but that why I went to see him. Now we work on correcting the problem, thank you Dr Otero and your wonderful staff. See you in six months.

Its is so hard to find a good Cardiologist. But i managed to have found one and he has been the best. I would recommend him to anyone and his staff is so wonderful. The wait is not long at all. Dr. Otero and his staff are remarkable in that they are among a very few who actually care personally about the individual's quality of life. I have never been railroaded into doing minor improvements to my health which were major difficulties to my comfort. I am a chronic pain patient. They are sensitive to this. It means the world to me.

Dr. Otero has been my cardiologist for more years than i care to think about ( I am now 78 ). In all that time, i have found him to be consistently caring, thoughtful, attentive, as well as very forthright in providing medical advise. He takes time to be sure his patients understand what is going on, and why that probably is. I recommend his care and attention to any that have need of his knowledge.

Dr Otero is a great doctor. He listens and works well with his patients. His office is on 32nd street but he does visit Kyle once a month (at least), so if you live south you don't have to make the trip downtown Austin. My husband and I highly recommend him.

I have only wonderful things to say about Dr. Otero. Professional, caring and very skilled. Both my husband and I are patients. I couldn't as for a better doctor. I also an a nurse with years of experience and would gladly worked with him.

Just had my first visit with Dr. Otero. He and his staff were kind, happy, courteous and efficient. They were also pretty much on time, something that can get behind in the afternoons with doctors. But he took all the time I needed in order to understand my situation. Going back for more tests in a few weeks and I'm looking forward to it. I have trusted him with my life and would send my husband or mom to him. Over all such a good experience when I had started out so stressed.

After proclaiming that I was a complicated case, and telling me I should go to the Mayo Clinic, he dropped me as a patient because I cancelled appointments. Too stupid to realize some patients are very very ill, and can't make it out of bed to get dressed, much less make it in. I DID cancel ahead of time. Not that I was a no show. Cold hearted. My immunologist told me the same thing about Mayo. Dr. Otero refused to even make a phone call for me to Mayo Clinic. Dropped me instead.

Dr. Otero is an outstanding doctor. Not only is his knowledge extensive, his manner with patients is outstanding. He treats me like family and i really trust him to present me with the best alternatives. I have met numerous people that know him or know of him and all reports are unfailingly positive. I highly recommend him and his team for cardiac health.

I have been going to Dr. Otero for awhile now. In fact I will be going for an angiogram this Monday. Would only trust him. He did my last one and did a great job. Now my sister and my cousin go to him and they are very satisfied and I second that. Being 66 and closing in on 67 pretty soon, I have to keep a better eye on the old ticker and Dr. Otero is the man that has really helped me with that.

Dr Otero was through in conducting testing to find my problem and patient in explaining treatment options. I've been blessed with good health until recently and he took all the time needed to insure I understood the cause and treatment options going forward. I'm thankful he got my case as I had seen a few other doctors with no real idea of why I was not feeling up to par. Thanks!

A truly excellent doctor.

First Class operation geared to keeping up with the many details of the patient care experience. I never feel like a number. Dr. Otero is very personable and a good listener.... especially comforting for me as a newer patient. The staff reflects this patient-first attitude. I feel it is the mark of a great doctor to provide such a solid infrastructure with quick answers in a time when medicine can be so impersonal and slow. I'm glad I am under Dr. Otero's care.

I was diagnosed with a blockage in the coronary artery and had a double CABG in December 2014. Dr. Otero and his staff were professional, friendly and very reassuring about my disease and outcomes of the surgery. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Otero to anyone having heart problems and would definitely take my husband to him if he develops any type of heart problems. Dr. Otero is stellar.
