This review is for the office. They are charging a regular visit during a preventive visit which is covered 100 percent by the insurance. Just because i asked a question. Ridiculous. Update. Administration office is working on waiving the fee because it was not disclosed during check in.

Dr Chacon really took time to easily answer the questions I had in a way I could understand.

I had one appointment with Dr Chacon about three years ago. He is very courteous and professional. This is not a review for him, but his financial admin. I had recently changed insurances and have had options to self-pay in order to keep the cost low, but the admin decided that I had to be charged the maximum for a normal doctor’s visit and I didn’t EVEN see the doctor, but the nurse practitioner. I have done negotiations with other clinics using the same insurance for myself and my kids and EVERY clinic was willing to work with me with any method that I chose to pay. So, unless you have amazing insurance that pays for any and everything, go find another doctor, because there are PLENTY of other good doctors around. Oh, how I wish I didn’t have to give this office and doctor even one star. DO. NOT. GO. THERE. I’ve been waiting over two months for this appointment, because I figured it was worth it to go to a doctor with such good reviews on Google. Apparently, there are much worse reviews on the office’s page, including a few who had similar experiences. I get there twenty minutes early like they called and told me to do so I can fill out paperwork. I finally get called in thirty minutes later, and I tell the nurse about my severe anxiety and how I need to talk to the doctor about my health and how to feel better. A FULL HOUR LATER, a nurse comes in to tell me that she just wanted to let me know she doesn’t know how much longer it will be. Um, okay? Thirty minutes after that (now I’ve been sitting in that office alone for almost two hours), I walk out, see some nurses chatting about who knows what, and I tell them I’m going to leave since apparently everyone forgot about me (I heard the doctor outside my office countless times throughout my wait so I don’t care what excuses they have. And can I just say, fake or exaggerated excuses don’t work well with ill people). They asked when I wanted to reschedule, and I am still dumbfounded how they didn’t see anything wrong. Getting in to see this amazing doctor is a challenge, but so worth the wait... true it takes a long time before we see him once we get there, however he spends the same amount of quality time with my husband and I.. we now know the drill and come prepared for the time we’re going to be there... we so appreciate him..
