Dr P is very concern about his patients and takes time with them and explanes thing

Was given misinformation prior to the procedure, not given Valium IV or Valium RX to take beforehand. I involuntarily flinched when needle inserted into nerve bundle and was told he'd stop procedure if it happened again. No discharge instructions, only handed a document to read at home.

He takes time with you and shows that he cares about you.

Excellent patient care and Treatments I am required to have, are done with care and excellence.

This is a good place to go they have helped me a lot I have been going there for seven years I trust what DR Pecoraro does he is the best in my opinion

I Keep coming back to get steroid injections because Dr Pecoraro is the best in his field I have been receiving these injections for many years now with excellent results

Very thorough doctor who took his time without wishing to take care of me. I must say I was very very impressed.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and particularly with Dr Pecoraro asked a lot of questions and then explained what was wrong and what was needed to fix the problem including what was needed for each step going forward!

I have been seeing Dr P for 10 years and would not entrust anyone else. He has always came through. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dr. and the whole team were fantastic! He went out of his way to explain issues and even went back to insurance co. yo explain how he would do the procedure- the correct way, not the way insurance was trying to dictate.

Dr. Pecoraro was very patient explained everything to my understanding. Quickly followed up with my insurance so we could start treatment in a week. I am very comfortable with the procedures he recommended.

If you have a complicated case such as, failed back surgery, scar tissue wrapped around spinal nerves, disk replacement, disk fusion; DO NOT go to Dr. P. He is unwilling or not capable of taking on these types of cases. Left office this afternoon after being told his office would be in contact after urine test came back, reviewing notes, and talking with current pain management provider. Half hour after I departed the office I got a call saying that Dr. P would not be taking on my case. Of course this occurred after he ran x-rays and urine test (got to squeeze some money out before declining care. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR. On a positive note; his support staff were very pleasant.

Wow! Dr. Pecoraro’s credentials speak for him. But on a personal note, he is a genuine caregiver, professional and quite personal. I also found him to be kind, compassionate and he listened to me. Everyone was very caring

A consultation that was very friendly, informative and helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr Pecoraro’s for about 6 years .as he is among other things a pain specialist and i have gone from a nine to zero today tell you all you need to know. If you have the pleasure of seeing Dr Pecoraro you have arrived!

I absolutely love Dr P. He takes the time needed to do the procedure. It takes a little longer for numbing medication to work for me. I find he has patience with me. I also find him personable.! Would definitely recommend him!!

From the standpoint of tradecraft only, Pecoraro is excellent. However, his bedside manner is sorely in need of improvement. I have had about six visits with him and he has never even said hello. And he has never smiled, just walks into the exam room like you're not there. A bit abrupt, he tends to get impatient with questions which can and did lead to a big misunderstanding of treatment needs. Don't know how they got him to smile for his picture.

Doctor P and nursing staff are 1st rate but there is little doubt that you are on a corporate conveyor belt!

The tech was extremely nice and comforting. This procedure is painful but the doctor was very gentle and understanding

EmergeOrtho has been a blessing to me. I'm a survivor of a head on collision by a drunk driver. Many years later, I'm still suffering from my injuries. I tried so many other doctors, and they didn't seem to care about what I was going through. I was BLESSED to find this particular office in Wilmington. I love the doctors and staff. I realize, I will never be the same again. But, they have made my life so much better than before I arrived there. I HIGHLY...HIGHLY recommend this office to EVERYONE!!! I had severe sciatica in both sides and was able to get a couple injections that took the pain away for almost a year last time and gladly came back to this highly professional staff to do it again. Dr. Pecararo and the staff at Emerge Ortho are caring and excellent at their jobs. They have been able to effectively treat my severe neuropathic pain, and have been excellent advocates when insurance companies have tried to micromanage or cancel it. Before Dr. Pecararo started treating me, my quality of life was poor, and getting worse. While my condition is irreversible, I no longer spend most of each day dealing with the pain it causes. Dr. Pecoraro was very kind. His assistant Steven made me very comfortable while waiting to see the doctor. Dr. Pecoraro had knowledge of myasthenia gravis which made me very comfortable. Thanks so much for a good experience. Praying injection helps for a long time. This is my first day in months to wake up without hip pain.

Dr. Pecorero & his assistant Lauren are the best! He's been my pain management Doctor like forever, & three of us have a great repore!

Dr. Pecoraro is one of the most caring doctors I have seen since moving to Jacksonville, NC in 2005. He takes his time when you have an appointment to go over every aspect of your case. He explains things very clearly and makes sure you understand why he prescribes meds and also during a procedure, what he and his assistant are about to do, to prepare you for any discomfort you might experience. I’ve been a patient here for about 10 yrs & the Doctors have came up with a regimen to help ease my chronic pain of degenerative disease, herniated disks & bones spurs in my neck & back…thankful for them!!

I was referred to Dr Pecararo by my Primary Physician to see if he could help my pain due to ALOT of medical issues. My first appointment was 4-22-22. He was extremely nice and I have never had a doctor who made me feel like he could help me. He was very concerned about all my medical issues and me not getting the help I need. My medical issues are all serious and I'm allergic to a lot of medicines so that makes it more complicated. I also have Diabetes 2 which makes it even more complicated. I was scheduled for an injection in my left side neck going into my arm. I heard how awful this was & I canceled. Neck so painful I rescheduled. What a Terrific experience, Dr. Pecoraro is one of the best, he cares about patients and he fully explained prior to doing anything. He was so calming, not rushed and as the patient I felt confident without any doubt this Dr.would be the answer. He is and since that first procedure he has injected my hip and number two injections in my neck. I can’t rave enough about this man. I have recommended Dr.Pecoraro to several of my friends and from their experiences they are in agreement with my feedback, fortunately they all did very well and now return when a injection is needed. I get cortisone injections from Dr P. He is an amazing doctor that takes his time I believe, truly cares about his patients. I actually enjoy seeing him when I go!!

Injection to hip very painful and pain has not subsided since then. Can only hope that on my follow up with Doctor Hannum he can suggest our next avenue of attach. Pain is now more than before.

Dr.Pecararo has been my pain management doctor since 2010. I have had facet joint nerve blocks since 2010, and with his help, I have managed to live a relatively pain free life. I have had such severe pain, that I cannot sit on a couch or chair, and some days, I can barely walk. Dr. Pecoraro was very comforting during my procedure. He also pointed out some things that I need to have another look at after looking at my MRI. I was very impressed by his bed side manner while going in for the ablation procedure.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Pecoraro. I was seeing him to receive a steroid injection in my lower back. He spent a great deal of time before the procedure to review my symptoms and my X-rays. He expressed his concern to make sure that the injections were in the right place and would have the maximum benefit.
