Dr. Francis Cannizzo

I love Dr Cannizzo! He has been fantastic and I have complete faith in him. He is warm and caring and takes time to explain things - in plain English like my husband asks. He is the kind of Dr that will stand there and just hold your hand for a few minutes when you first wake up from surgery - I know, because that is what he did for me. He is genuine and will give you straight answers to your questions. He is what good doctors are meant to be.... kind, intelligent, attentive, thorough, respectful, honest, and compassionate. That is exactly what we needed going through this cancer scare. He is also humble enough to bring in another specialist if needed. I had a melanoma on the bottom of my foot that required moving a flap of skin from my arch to the weight bearing portion of my foot and a skin graft to cover the arch. He said right in the beginning that he wasn’t going to play around and the plastic surgeon would be involved to make sure I had the best chance of walking properly again.

Dr, Cannizzo is a wonderful surgen. He was very attentive and professional. He helped me with a chronic problem and I feel fantastic. I would highly reccomend Dr. Cannizzo to anyone who needs general surgery.5 stars in book!!! He was very though in explaining all the details of the procedure and the recovery as well!! I can finally return to work!! Thank you !!!! Everyone in the Hartford Health Care group was very professional!!!

Dr. Cannizzo is fantastic! He was very attentive and explained everything, including my questions, in a way that was clear and easy to understand. Great surgeon- my scar is long but not nearly as obvious as I thought it would be! Highly, highly recommend!!

Dr Cannizzo and his staff have been absolutely wonderful to us as we navigate through my husband's cancer-takes time to explain everything and answers questions thoroughly and does not rush. Helps us with any and all concerns and is always so warm and friendly - we have complete trust in his abilities and expertise
