I will not miss having to call the office and remind them of the appointments THEY made for my daughter. Furthermore, checking my daughter out of school and waiting by the phone for the PA “Claire” to call and she never does. It’s been absolutely unbelievable for the past 2 years and I’m happy to say, NEVER again. I wasn’t going to post but if I can help another family, then by all means. I blew their phone up practically begging for refills of SSRI’s almost 2 weeks ago. The PA tells me I changed my number- comical. I just received a phone call back, literally minutes ago (of course no voicemail) after this long, my daughter would had been without her medication. I have reported this to my daughters doctor and she is taking it from there. Go absolutely anywhere but here!!! I have been informed I could even seek legal advice with what I have. We will see. I, too, wish I could give zero stars. The person who answered the phone was very unprofessional and even rude. For this reason, I cancelled my son's appt and will find another psychiatrist. Good riddance!

I called this office to make an inquiry. At first I was on hold for 9 minutes. I called back and was able to get through. When I did, I had made an inquiry and the receptionist said Dr. Uzokwe called me crazy for my inquiry. I find it completely unprofessional and unethical that a psychiatrist would call someone crazy. UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF

One of the least professional institutions I've seen in the mental health field. Never notifies any of their patients about appointments or even makes an attempt at initiating video appointments. This is the second month in a row that my wife has gone off her meds and it's because of zero notice of appointment even on the day of appointment. They're secretaries are rude and the most unprofessional aspect of the operation seeing as how they mandate all the appts Right now through video chats. Good doctor and clinic. Staff and doctor very professional. And very nice.

Waiting period is way over 2hrs. Horrible They overbook and do not even care about it. Have to look for another place.

He is rude and unprofessional. Didn't try to help my daughter at all. He didn't listen to anything she has to say. Run not walk away from this man.

I love the doctors here! They let my daughter be part of her treatment and made her feel like a person not just a disease or an issue!!

Very unprofessional staff. I feel like he didn't have my child's best interest in mind. He rushed through talking to her and was very rude to me and her. This was her first and last time seeing him. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD TO SEE THIS MAN!

My son has a different psychiatrist every time we go to a visit. The psychiatrist goes along with what my son says, he’s the mental patient, he is a minor, and was referred by UT on 2800 Mcgreoger. The front desk told me the reason why the psychiatrist doesn’t hear me out is because my son looks normal. Wow thanks but NO Thank you.

My child see a different psychiatrist every time he visit there. They ask and go by what my son tell them. My son is the patient, is a minor, and is the person suffering a mental illness. The front desk told me it’s because my son looks normal as if I wasn’t referred to them from 2800 S McGreagor where he stayed there for a month and has his diagnosis. Rude

This doctor it's awful my son was seen by him at bellaire behavioral hospital and I was never able to talk to him after several calls and messages, I know my son and I had very hard time trying to get discharge from this horrible place and unprofessional doctors we are all tired and disappointed. I wish I could have gave 0 stars. Staff is completely rude.. You would think they sell dope with how paranoid they are. They treat you like you're an addict as opposed to a real person w some issues in life. The doctor is rude. He barely talks to you. He books about 5 ppl at the same appointment time, and primary issue is not your problem, it's just getting you out a quickly as he sees you. As I said, expect to stay long though, due to the wait, lack of professionalism, and booking appts all for one time is ridiculous. He will give you 1 month of your medication. No refills. So he expects you to make this treacherous trip monthly.. ? No care for patients. All about the almighty dollar. If you have big money, all the time in the world to wait to be seen, and want a doctor to write you a quick script after a long wait, this place is for you. If you like rude ppl, that don't care, and reminded of that every month, this is the go to place.. Nasty atmosphere. Nasty ppl. I'm being completely honest. Pls ace your time and money. Dr Uzokwe it wasn't any help for my son, my son was seen by him at Bellaire behavioral hospital I just want to say is was the most horrible experience I haven't get a call back from him after several calls and messages I guess he's too busy to take some time to talk about my son health. I don't recommend him at all, do not take your love ones with this people

Hello Doctor its now 4.38 pm on this day of Tues its very overwhelming for all your patients to be sustaining a wait of more than 30 mins for the scheduled appt. That is given to them being disabled shouldnt be hours of waiting on you as you never etriculate a apoligy along with a very ill mannered receptionist with unprofessional office rules and privacy of patients very unpleasant when u ask a question shes very rude and its not her position to treat one with sarcastic comments just because .

I am concerned about the lack of patient consideration and patient respect observed among the doctor's staff. Staff is rude and does not care about patient health and the risks associated with late prescription refills. I have been trying to get my prescription refilled for over two weeks and cannot get cooperation from the doctor's staff or communicate with the doctor personally, which is why I am expressing my concerns via this website.
