Dr. Fern Perlman

We transitioned to Dr Perlman after an unfortunate disaster with another Westport pediatrician. She was ALWAYS the best doctor to our daughters and we will never forget her consistent attention to detail that makes a great doctor. Unconditionally recommend Dr Perlman to anyone looking for a competent and compassionate doctor for children.

A completely disingenuous, rotten to the core, phony, overwhelmingly immature disgraceful human being who needs a lot of prayers. These words are way too kind for her to say the least.

Dr Perlman is the worst pediatrician and should really retire soon. She misdiagnosed my daughter who was having severe stomach pain and chalked it up to a stomach virus when in actuality she had SALMONELLA poisoning!! She would not listen to reason despite my daughter getting worse and worse until I finally had to get the correct answer at the emergency room! She's extremely abrupt and one time left for lunch in the middle of my sons physical. It wasn't over yet!! and she leaves!!!

Will do everything BUT provide actual medical services in order to maintain her squeaky clean reputation. It is clear she is buying into the common doctor mentality that in order to avoid any negative feedback she must pass all responsibility off to another medical professional. She won't give you any sort of treatment or validation without sending you to a number of specialists first. If you need anything but a yearly physical, this is not the doctor your family is looking for.
