He was straight to the point and very kind to my 3 yr old son with Autism. His staff listened to me and my concerns and made sure that my sons visit was thorough. It was my first visit, and I was very happy with this Dr.

He performed an operation to remove a button battery from my toddlers esophagus. This was an emergency situation and I was not given a choice of who would perform the surgery. He was supposed to come out and tell us how the procedure went when he was done and he didn’t. A nurse came and got us and was surprised when she found out he never came and talked to us. Then when we he finally came to talk (after he was told to by the nurse) he barely told us anything and was very short when asked questions. Terrible communicator to say the least. Dr. Camilon has been my family’s doctor for nearly 3 decades. He’s knowledgeable, easy to speak with, and offers sound medical advice and solutions for ear, nose, and throat ailments.

Horrible practitioner!! As a RN, I have to say that he has provided the worst bedside care that I have ever seen!! He is one of those old-school, burned-out doctors who thinks everyone should shut up and do what he says, and God forbid that you have any questions. He is old, rude, impatient, and incapable of providing the full spectrum of care that is necessary to treat patients. He needs to leave the profession. He is outdated, washed up, and puts a terrible face on CHOC hospital as an organization - I can't believe that this is the ENT surgeon that they choose to allow to work with their patients and in their facilities.

This doctor is not friendly my son got tubes in his ears before covid hit . My 3 year old is still hurting his ears and he doesn't like u to ask any questions bout anything ????

Before today's experience I would have given him 4 stars but his behavior today was absolutely appalling and I question his mental competency. He was so angry when I asked a couple of questions about his diagnosis of my son. He seemed to think I was questioning him as a doctor but my question were about what else I should do/look for in the future. He actually walked out of the room and started shouting at me to get a 2nd opinion since I didn't agree with him. There was also a moment during the exam where he said my son's tonsils looked normal- he removed his tonsils 3 months ago! And he couldn't seem to remember what he'd said just a few minutes before and kept asking his assistant for the information. I can no longer recommend him as an ENT. If I could give this doctor zero stars I would. The first time we went into the doctors office and the doctor had horrible manners. He didn’t introduce himself. He didn’t welcome us. When my doghter was told to do something it was a comand with not a single word of please. It was very disrespectful. My daughter and I were thinking about canceling but decided not to because the doctors office said that he gets nicer. The second time we went to the doctors office for her pre- op befor surgery he was much nicer so I made a statement that today he is in a very good mood and the last visits must of just been a bad day for him. We also said we are very impressed and we are now happy to be here. Directly after that visit we got a call from the office saying that the procedure was to long so we couldn’t do the surgery tomarrow. So we said ok and went on thinking that they would call us and after a week I had to call them because they didn’t call us. So they then-say on that call that “This doctor dosnt fell safe doing surgery and wants a second opinion.” So we asked for a report on the reasoning that her surgery being canceled and all the visits.Mean time my daughter was in Excruciating pain and we we’re waiting for a new doctor. 2 weeks later we get a report from the doctor saying that we said“ they said I was mean” witch was his reasoning for not doing the surgery. I have worked with Dr. Camilon for over 20 years. He is one of the most competent, tender hearted doctors that I have ever worked with. His staff is attentive, professional, and efficient. I would highly recommend Dr. Camilon to everyone who's health is a top priority.

Great doctor but not so great staff. Schedule my daughter's appointments months ahead of time and they almost always call the week of to reschedule. Long wait in waiting room but worth the doctor expertise. He was amazing when my 9 month old needed ear tube surgery.

Best surgeon ever. He removed my daughter's (10) tonsils, adenoids, fixed her sinuses, ears and tongue. He was nothing short of amazing!!! Cannot praise him enough for his care, after care and expertise.

Terrible doctor. Butchered my son. He has had problems ever since Dr. Camilon did his surgery over 20 years ago. He also didn't ever make him comfortable during any Pre- op testing. Just terrible!

I'm not coming back again. very bad service and long waite. Doctor will book 3 and maybe more at the same time. more of a commercial behaviour from this clinic.

I arrived at 11:05 for my son 11:15 appointment. was called at 11:45, the doctor saw us at 12:40. The waiting area is very small packed with pt, poorly ventilated. the Doctor books so many patient at the same time to see, took about 7 minutes with us. There is no washing sink in the rooms, no bathrooms at the clinic, only in the hallway that is not equipped with changing table . the clinic is very cheap as they will validate parking for only one hour, be spending it anyway waiting .

This ENT was quite rough in how he treated my child. He consistently under prescribed the level and amount of antibiotics for which he treated the sinusitis which was confirmed by another ENT. The post-op visit was very traumatizing when he removed the sinus stints without any form of analgesia and without proper preparation. I will never forget nor forgive his callousness towards my child as well as me...he himself will tell you how wonderful and important he is...don't believe it! He also manipulates patient history to get surgeries approved...very rough in actual hands-on handling of young patients. We read an article that he was going to train to become a policeman...very strange move after being a surgeon, but perhaps one he would be better suited after witnessing how he does things. Avoid! Great doctor, very detailed in how he explains things. I have had my tonsils out by him, my him and had his nose surgery by him and my daughter had tubes out in her ears by him. Would recommend him as an ENT.

I will never go back to this office. I really like Dr.Camilon but I dislike his office staff including his office manager Lupe and billing supervisor Dalia. My son had ear tubes put in and we went back to the office for a follow up visit also known as a "post-op." I had told the front offie that I was not responsible for a copay because it's a post-op visit. She then had Dalia the billing supervisor come talk to me and insisted that I had to pay my $50 copay. I told her I would call my insurance company to confirm that I wasnt responsible for that. My insurance company Unitedhealthcare stated that it was a post global witch ment I had upto 10 buisness days to follow up with the doctor after surgery without having to pay the copay. I later spoke to Lupe who is the office manager and she insisted I had to take it up with St.Joseph witch is my IPA. I ended up paying the the $50 copay because my son needed to be seen. I will dispute the charges and file a formal complaint. IT IS ILEGAL FOR A OFFICE TO COLLECT A COPAY AFTER A SURGEY. I work in the medical field my self and know this for a fact. If you ever visit this office please make sure you verify your benefits with your insurance company. I have never delt with people so incompetent. I will never go back to this office. What a nightmare! Expect to wait hours in the waiting room and don't ever expect personal service. We were there last week for an evaluation for a 2nd set of tubes. We were told they automatically will remove the adenoids when they do tubes a second time. What?! Just for fun? Doc said he wouldn't do the surgery without taking the adenoids. Then this weekend the ear infection came back and he was in excruciating pain, screaming for 2 days. Mon I called the office twice. They left a msg for the nurse and promised me they would call me by the end of the day. I asked just for pain relief numbing drops until we could get back in. At the end of the work day I still hadn't heard so I called back at 4:45 and they promised me I would get a call back. 7:00 pm rolls around, no call. I called again and got their answering service who called the dr. He wouldn't do ANYTHING! They said he won't give out any med after hours. That's why I called you guys several time BEFORE you closed. I've never had such horrible customer service, esp when a child is crying out in pain and it's been days now! So now I'm off to the ER. Dr Camilon is one of the kindest doctors we have ever met. He grasped my husbands hand with both his hands to tell him that the ear surgery went well. He saved my daughter from hearing aids!! My daughter was misdiagnosed by 2 other ENTs that said she had permanent sensorineural hearing loss that could NOT be fixed! Those doctors sent us to many specialists and hospital tests. We were heartbroken so we went to Dr Camilon for a second opinion. He looked at those same audiogram results and reassured us that he has seen many of these audiograms 'clear up' once the adenoids and ear fluid is removed. Two weeks after ear surgery the new audiogram revealed almost perfect hearing - both conductive and sensorinueral ! We are forever grateful to Dr Camilon. They didn't tell me that I would have to stay in the area for two weeks post op until the day of surgery, and it took so long to schedule the appointment, I couldn't risk rescheduling. They also didn't communicate antibiotic needs to the hospital, so my son had to go 48 hours without.
