As she took me to the back for an EMG/NCS, I asked how her day was going and she didn't answer me. Then I continued to try to be friendly to hopefully brighten her day and she would barely speak. It was the oddest encounter I've ever had with a doctor. She only made eye contact once and probably spoke a max of 10 words to me. It was like I had done something horrible to her and she hated me, but I had just met her and smiled and been nice. SO strange. My experience with Dr. Rosenbaum was disappointing and frightening. I came to her looking to confirm if I had MS, which was a lot to deal with. 1) Her temperament is cold and distant. She didn't seem to show any sympathy or understanding of gravity of the new news I was dealing with until I broke down in tears. 2) When I asked her what we could do about it, she told be 2 disappointing things. A- That she didn't recommend any more testing. SO basically, I was left in limbo without assurance if I had MS or not. and B- That we should continue to watch my symptoms to see if they either went away or became debilitating to my quality of life. WHAT!!! Wait and do nothing without confirmation of my condition is a horrible plan. I've since found a new neurologist who specializes in MS and received much better guidance and care. I really wish I had listened to the other reviews on Dr. Rosenbaum before going to her. Please be cautious about the providers you see and take care of yourselves! She was patient, thorough, and took her time assessing my father who has dementia. Contrary to the last reviewer, she is not focused on treating with medication. She seemed interested in providing the right solution for the given issue taking into consideration all other factors.
Excellent service and very professional approach to ensure patient satisfaction and wellness.
Agree with everything that has been said above. I was looking for some empathy from my doctor but Dr Rosenbaum is straight and to the point. She typed on her laptop the entire time I was explaining my problem to her and gave me very little information. After investigations, she left me with - “the problem is not what we thought it was” - let’s wait and see. All this while my symptoms continue. On the upside, it was easy to get an appointment, whereas I’d have to wait weeks to see other neuros. I also liked that she personally called me back after she got a copy of my MRI, instead of leaving it to one of her assistants. I will, however, be seeking a second opinion because my problem was not solved.
Although Dr. Rosenbaum might be good at prescribing meds, I found her personal skills dearly lacking in treating my elderly mom who was suffering from dementia and trigeminal neuralgia. After we left Dr. Rosenbaum's office following one of the last appointments before my mom passed away, my mom, teary eyed, said to me "I'm stupid." Because when the doctor asked the typical questions to assess cognition and my mother couldn't come up with the answers, Dr. Rosenbaum was unable or unwilling to comfort my mom or reassure her that it was ok.
I have visited Dr. Rosenbaum and plan to see her again. My impressions: On the positive side, she is well trained and seems a good diagnostician. My primary care MD, whom I fully respect, recommended her. On the other hand, her demeanor is cool and somewhat aloof. If you are looking for warm, fuzzy and chatty, do not expect to find it here. That's fine with me. I'm looking for neurological expertise, not a buddy.

Consulted her for symptoms of migraine. She tested me with a couple of pinpricks in my legs and insisted I had neuropathy. No blood tests done, no followup. She argued with me and was completely dismissive. She claimed neuropathy in my legs caused dizziness, brain fog, light and sound sensitivity, headaches, nausea and other symptoms of migraine. A year later, I consulted a real neurologist who tested for neuropathy and found NOTHING. Gave me an Rx for migraine and suggested I try magnesium supplements. Almost immediately, the migraine symptoms abated. If you want rude, wrong and dismissive, go see the above MD. Consulted her for symptoms of migraine. One of the worst healthcare providers I have been treated by. As others have mentioned, she is rude and condescending. More troubling, she consistently provided questionable care in both areas of diagnosis and recovery. I am not the type of person that wastes time writing online reviews for minor issues. I have been seeing her for several years and really like her. It has been easy to get in touch with her and to see her and what is most important I am doing better.
Dr. Rosenbaum successfully treats my condition and continues to give me great physical relief, vastly improving the quality of my life.
Rude office staff.
Rude, condescending, and depressing persona impacting patients and caregivers alike. No quality of life or innovative solution orientation offered. Fixation towards chemical options and/or warehousing.
Dr. Rosenbaum did not communicate with me while conducting the neurological tests, although I made an attempt to ask questions at appropriate times. I will not return to this practice.
Quick to prescribe medication, offers no other care, insight or follow-up. Even after dire events, no modification change to medications made or proper assessement recommended or conducted. No innovative treaments offered. Not up to date with changes in the field. No suggestions provided to caregivers for respite or other support.
Very professional, amazing bedside manner, and personable.
Dr. Rosenbaum is not friendly and bristles at any attempts even to be cordial with her. She is cold, abrupt, rude, impersonal,. and unsmiling . She will not let you ask any questions until she is completely finished with her examination. When I tried to talk with her about her incompetent office staff, she cut me off and asked if I wanted to complain to her about her staff or talk about my medical issues. I chose to talk with her about my medical issues, which she was unable to diagnose.
Dr. Rosenbaum, while technically competent, was unkind, cold, abrupt, and has an incompetent office staff. The wait time was short, the appointment was technically covered properly, but the physician lacked warmth or kindness during the encounter. Her questions were abrupt, she cut off my history a few times, not letting me finish, and did not provide written discharge instructions to this patient, who suffers from memory loss. The office staff was rude and misleading about billing.

Unlike most 21st century health care providers, this physician practice has no modern patient communication technology. Specifically, they have no secure patient portal. I was told to fax my detailed patient information on an unsecured line. When that failed to work, i was given a receptionist's private Gmail account (again unsecured). I had the wrong gmail mail address. Now my personal health care records, including SSN, are in cyberspace or in the hands of a strange. Thank you NVNA!
Dr. Rosenbaum made an extremely detailed review of my health and conducted a detailed neurological test that pinned down the extent of my neurapathy.
Dr. Rosenbaum caught a serious problem with a routine blood sample, and immediately brought it to my attention. I owe the remaining years of my life to her!

Horrible Neurologist... Even with progressive worsening of Neurological symptoms, she decided not to admit patient and let her go home. Even after clinical diagnosis was made, she did not want to treat because she was too afraid.
