Dr. Fay Fereshteh Niazi

I went to this office a couple years back and received he worst service I have ever received from an eye doctor. My wife also used them once and she wasn't impressed at all. The prescription was off, so, I called this office to get a copy of the prescription to have it reviewed elsewhere. A really unprofessional man answered the phone - he was rude from the start and showed no care for my request to get a copy of the prescription. He ended up just hanging up on me. I had to go to another optometrist and pay for a new set of glasses because the ones I got from this office just didn't work. Worst place I have ever been to. 5 times back. Still couldn’t get the correct prescription. I would rate this place 0. If I could. The secretary can’t get anything right either. Stay away from here.

Dr. Fay is a nice old Armenian lady with very traditional habits which actually made her awesome at her job. Her office looks as if she moved the location recently, half unpacked, and chose to hoarder machines from 1983. Nothing high tech or modern here. Just a good old fashion look in the eyes with her flashlight and putting the words on the screen to read. She could tell I lifted heavy packages just by looking in my eyes so I have no doubt she knows what she's doing. What makes me give 3 stars is her assistant working in her office was a middle aged lady who was never on time for anything, was completely unorganized, tried to charge the wrong insurance company for my contacts, and always provided too much information about her personal life with her children. I was a patient since i was 7, now am 15, she might be quite old but still does a good job

Wow dr.niazi is just a saint, shes very sweet greets you with a hug and a kiss on the chek, sweet wlderly woman, she does excellent work on her job, she really cares

If I could give Dr, Niazi 6 starts I would, she certainly deserves it. After seeing many eye specialist in southern CA and getting wrong eye prescriptions for my glasses and contacts, dealing with non-stop headaches, and complications when i moved to the Bay Area my husband recommended Dr. Niazi., that was in 1992. Dr. Niazi spent about 2 hours with me on my first visit, corrected my eye prescription and recommended a course of action. Since then not only she is my ophthalmologist but my whole family, extended family, and friends'. She is highly educated, up to date with new procedures, and extremely caring. She never rushes you and spends as much time as you need answering all of your questions and addressing all your concerns. Her office is not fancy but believe me there is nothing simple about the care you will receive. She is competent and extremely good at what she does. When I recommend her to my friends I always say: Once Dr. Niazi examines your eyes she will know the prescription, you telling her this lens is better or that is just to confirm what she has already diagnosed. Sometimes when i don't pay attention and choose a different strength lenses she says: are you sure this is better than the previous one? that's because she already knows the prescription once she looks into your eyes with her device. She is as good as gold, and truly is the best in the Bay Area. I highly recommend her. If I could give Dr, Niazi 6 starts I would, she certainly deserves it.
