Husband had surgery. This surgeon just came out to talk to me in front of everyone in the waiting room…..He said everything went fine but your husband needs to lose a significant amount of weight and needs to make better choices because he is obese and isn’t making good life choices and you mam need to talk to him!!! Obviously this was not the time nor the place for this type of discussion…. He could have addressed his concerns in a follow up apt. My husband is 230# and was having a small tumor in his rectum removed. He is arrogant and clearly doesn’t like overweight people. So if you’re a bit overweight steer clear or you will be fat shamed!!

Overall, I must say I've been highly satisfied with the care I've received from Dr. Araghizadeh...he's knowledgeable and patient, his staff is friendly and responsive -- Dr. Araghizadeh even personally called me on the telephone to discuss test results

Dr. Araghizadeh was kind, thoughtful and willing answer any questions that I had. He provided extremely high end medical care and made what could have been a very scary situation a safe, effective and fun experience.

Dr. A explained all the procedures in a kindly, professional and friendly matter. He took is time telling me the pros and cons of the surgery. I am very happy that I came from Puerto Rico to get my problem with my health resolve by him. I would recommend this Dr. to any one.

I was nobody but a number to him. He saw me for less than 5 minutes for my 2 visits with him.

I had 12 inches of colon removed, my appendix taken out and a hernia fixed. I was in the hospital 30 hours in the hospital which would normally take 3-5 days, I was back at my desk job in 5 days! I can not recommend Dr. A enough! He is a miracle surgeon!

Due to built up scar tissue, I was finally in need of another resection after having had my last one ~25 years ago. I spoke with multiple healthcare professionals (including surgeons) about the advancements made in colorectal surgery, and felt comfortable with the approach Dr. Araghizadeh decided to take, which was specific to my situation (not just using the latest tech.) He also spent the time to not only answer my questions about the procedure itself, but even answer questions I asked with respect to why he chose colorectal surgical care. I also appreciate his expectations of very specific post-op care, which is patient-centric and all about the best recovery for the individual. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing colorectal surgery.

Dr. Araghizadeh is a fabulous surgeon! He performed a bowel resection on me recently and I was so surprised at how easy the recovery was. He explained everything up front and answered all of my questions prior to the procedure. The hospital he uses - Medical City Alliance - was wonderful as well. I could not have had a better outcome and I owe all of that to my wonderful surgeon. If you or anyone you know needs colorectal surgery, Dr. Araghizadeh is highly recommended!

This was second visit, for my first procedure/removal, and it was short and painless. I was impressed by Dr. Araghizadeh thoroughness and concern for the patient when it was explained to me what I should expect afterwards and potential issues.

I was a very high risk .Due to being overweight n diabetic.DrA was my last hope.He had a difficult time 5 1/2 hrs of surgery but still there to check on me that nite.Yes he is self assured but who wants anything less.He gave me back my life .I thought I had written a review but could not see it so hence this one .His staff are friendly n helpful .

Dr. Araghizadeh did a wonderful job throughout the experience. I would definitely recommend him and he would be my choice of surgeons if I need. He and his staff are very personable and thorough. You gain confidence in him quickly and have confidence in his support.

I thought he was an Italian. No insult intended. Agragazzi? My first colonoscopy at Parkland revealed 9 polyps. The GI man would not remove the 9th polyp, so he sent me to see two colon rectal surgeons at Parkland. They wanted to remove half my colon. I asked them if there was anyone who could remove the large polyp through a colonoscopy procedure. I was not going to let those two idiot doctors cut on me! Larry, Moe, and I didn't see Curely?? They sent to Dr. Araghizadeh. The guy was amazing. He filet mignon'd that big polyp. I came back a month later so he could check his work making him the only doctor I ever saw at Parkland Hospital more than one time. In my last colonoscopy in 2016, I only had one small polyp. I changed my diet and swim butterfly strokes twice a week, but it may be a long time before I can get another colonscopy. That's just the way it is! This guy is awesome, he is great colon rectal surgeon. I thank him a lot, otherwise the stupid doctors would have cut on me and probably messed up my life even more than it is. Just because one becomes a doctor does not mean they are a good doctor. There are good and terrible examples of everything under the sun. He saved my colon that day, I may have a whole gut full of polyps now, but Dr. Araghizadeh sure handled that big polyp with surgical skill. On a scale from one to 10 I would give this guy a 12!!

I had the worst experience with a Doctor that I have ever had in my 68 years, with Dr. Araghizadeh. I found him to be arrogant, condescending, and rude. After a long stay in the hospital due to complications from a back surgery I developed illius. The end result was a colostomy with Dr. A. I saw him once, days after the surgery, before I was transferred to rehab. He never referred me to an ostomy clinic/nurse and I had leaks several times a day for 8 weeks. At the 6 week check he spent maybe 3 minutes with me and every concern I mentioned was met with, "It's normal" and was told he would see me again in January, 7 months later. It is NOT normal to leak and change your bag 3 and 4 times a day, It is NOT normal to not see your surgeon for 10 months. After my wife insisted on talking to the office manager, we were referred to a clinic and the leaks stopped. Luckily I found a wonderful Dr. in Dallas and has a successful reversal.

Dr.A is a very personable and skilled surgeon. My operation could not have gone any better.

I had a section of colon removed due to diverticulitis and a small hernia repair as a bonus. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Araghizadeh and his entire staff. The procedure and recovery were virtually pain free. I was very fortunate to have drawn such a skilled surgeon. The down time was minimal and the incisions healed within days. I truly appreciate all that was done for me.

I had been suffering from Diverticulitis for over two years. I was referred to Dr A to resolve the issue. He reviewed my records and recommended surgery. I was scheduled for surgery. Three days before surgery I was hospitalized for another condition and had to delay the surgery. Even though he wasn't involved with my current care Dr A came to the hospital and talked to my family about the need to reschedule the surgery and resolve the issue as soon as possible. Dr A performed the surgery and my issue has been resolved. Four weeks post op and feeling great. Dr A is fantastic and I highly recommend him and TDDC to anyone experiencing gastro-intestinal issues.

Dr Araghizadeh was very professional. I chose him as my Dr due to his experience and background.He listened to my input and we agreed on a care plan. The surgery went well he did a fantastic job!! His has a great bedside manner and was on time for his procedures.

My husband had to go through an extremely difficult procedure and recovery process, but Dr. A and his staff for patient, informative and extremely expeditious. We are so grateful for such an expert surgeon and highly recommend TDDC for any GI or colo-rectal issues.

Dr. Araghizadeh has a very good reputation so I felt comfortable with him being my surgeon. He is knowledgeable and kind and did a great job during my procedure. I hope to not have repeat surgeries, but if I did, I wouldn’t hesitate coming back to him.

I can't recommend Dr. A enough. After meeting him and listening to what he had to say about my condition, I was completely confident that the procedure he wanted to perform was necessary and done in a professional manner. He didn't disappoint. He's quietly confident and very thorough. An absolutely top notch surgeon.

I had one of the most notoriously painful surgeries. Dr.A warned me of the discomfort and the healing time- because of his expertise, I recovered in record time. He is kind, knowledgeable and skilled. I highly recommend his care.

Dr. A. was compassionate and spent time answering questions before and after surgery. Office staff managed appointments timely and there was minimal waiting. Surgery was planned effectively and instructions clear. Dr. A. alleviated nervousness while waiting in preop and made rounds twice/day after surgery. He was very professional and I would highly recommend him.

A practicing physician myself, I can say wholeheartedly that I wouldnt trust my care in the hands of anyone else. Thank you Dr. Araghizadeh!
