If your looking for a Dr. and an office staff that doesn’t answer the phone, return your messages or spends 5 minutes reviewing your issues with you than this is the place for you. The office staff is rude, inept and clearly has not had any customer service training. Patients are seen as nothing more than an “insurance claim with an MRI” waiting in line for any type of pain relief. I would urge you to consider any office other than this one unless you are willing to put up with this nonsense. An example of medical care and services at its worst. Surprised no one in a leadership role at NASA has addressed this issue with Dr. Hussey. Apparently fee generation is the most important metric at this location.

Dr. Hussey is a proactive Doctor who knows exactly what needs to happen to resolve your pain. Two visits I'm like a new person. Finding a Doctor in Florida is challenging, took me 5 years to find Dr. Hussey. I'm so happy I did.

I have personally found Dr Hussey to be curt and lacking empathy for my physical condition. I made an appointment, months in advance, to see him for a check- up and renewal of necessary prescriptions. This guy has a cartoon type atmosphere (selling BUNK amway style) I was looking for a professional and Dr Hussey came in with an arrogant used car salesman pitch that was rude, bellicose,and hostile. I absolutely DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS QUACK!!

Dr. Hussey has treated me for migraines for over 14 years. He is professional, provides great medical care and gives a straight answer to any question. Initially, I was having migraines and other types of headaches about 50% of the time. With his medical recommendations for medications and a natural supplement (that I eventually weaned off of), my migraines and rebound headaches significantly diminished. At present, I take the migraine medication about twice a month. Recently, he recommended a newer medication that works great, and I have experienced virtually no side effects. Spent 10 minutes reviewing my mri and diagnostics. Prescribed me 60....SIXTY Percocet!!!! Who does that!!! This just in...there is an opiate epidemic!!!! Prescribing 60 Percocet makes me question what his real motivation might be! (Big Pharma) I told a friend and she said he has a reputation as a go to Dr for opiate scripts. This is reckless! if you openly say you have “mental health” issues here you’re at risk to be mistreated by Dr Hussys practice. Same with many other medical providers. My appointment was clearly made to NOT go forward with nerve block or nerve cauterizing until I knew more. When I arrived, the office manager angrily refused to let me in to my appointment unless I did the nerve block immediately. Her attitude was one of “take it or leave it today or never “. No options had been discussed. I made a quick discreet exit and was greeted by a Police officer I have a diagnosis of a anxiety from a mental health condition and had told her this while struggling to find the office in heavy traffic. When I did not go ahead with the nerve procedure immediately and left the office in fear she not only called police who actually thought it was amusing and she also followed up the incident by terminating me from the doctors practice which was redundant because my faith in the doctor was almost none by this time I do not recommend disclosing any mental health information to any medical practice unless you know that practice well. Many doctors do not like helping patients if anxiety, sadness or stress is involved it bothers them and they’d rather get rid of such annoyances. The front office at Dr Husseys business is shockingly inept. My doctor in CT has forwarded my records to the office on two occasions in the past two weeks. When I call to get the status of my request for an appointment I’m told they have no record of my name and no copies of my CT patient history. The last contact concluded with me put on hold again and finally disconnected. The elapsed time was 32 minutes. I would rate this as very poor customer service!! Dr. Hussey was extremely professional. Interacted in a pleasant and concerned manner. My neck pain was caused when i fell down the stairs at work. Dr. Hussey NEVER gave me any pain meds unless i absolutely needed it. He reviews records and mri results and follows every guideline to ensure proper care and treatment. In all that time he has always been conservative and appropriate in prescribing any medications for me and has worked to find alternate, non habit forming treatments for my pain. His diagnosis of my issues have been spot on. Dr. Hussey and his staff are responsive and accommodating. Doctor Hussey is 5 stars. The staff is a mess. It doesn’t matter what it is: scheduling, getting procedures approved, calling patients back, it’s a disaster. It’s taken 2 months to get a procedure scheduled that my insurance approved 7 weeks ago, because the office forgot about it and then there was a mistransfer of records and THEN they scheduled it for me but I called back and it wasn’t even scheduled. not because of a full schedule, no one knows what happened. Dr Hussey is a part of a small part of doctors I'm fortunate to have that actually care about his patients. You can see this when you go for an office visit. He is in a hurry usually but will take the time if needed to figure out what he feels he needs to in order to so he isn't missing anything important.

First time at Dr Hussey’s office and it was a great experience everyone was so kind and understanding the doctor himself so absolutely amazing he sat there and he listen to what I had to say thank you Dr Hussey

10 years ago he was a compassionate and effective physician. Now I get the feeling he cares most about his $700+ fee for a TEN MINUTE appointment. And his staff, bad before are even WORSE now- if you can even get them on the phone. They're rude, self-entitled and the office mgr 'Bobbi' thinks SHE'S the doctor! The staff of a physician treating chronic pain could at least PRETEND to care about the patients who pay their checks. I've been hung up on, left on hold over an hour and 'Dr. Bobbi' is woefully misinformed about CDC prescribing laws and 'guidelines' to say the least. What's worse is you cannot get to Dr. Hussey without having to navigate this uneducated band of prima-donna nimrods. Sad, very sad. Poorly run office is an understatement. Can't say enough bad things about this pitiful, self-entitled staff of idiots.

Spent very little time with me - 5 minutes at the most. He's more interested in doing expensive procedures that would benefit him more than me.

I have been seeing Dr. Hussey since 2011 for nerve damage started by a birth defect and worsened by 'corrective' surgeries many years ago. I have found Dr. Hussey to be extremely knowledgeable, caring, professional and competent. His staff has always been professional, kind and considerate. Dr. Hussey and the staff do an excellent job processing patients through and keeping to the designated appointment times.

The doctor is fantastic the whole entire staff should be terminated.

I agree with all the negative reviews for Dr Hussey and his staff. I had excruciating pain during a spinal epidural he performed and his attitude toward me as a patient and concern for my well being were totally absent. After the procedure it was impossible to get any information from him or his staff as to what went wrong with my procedure and why I had the excruciating pain. I never heard back from then despite my numerous phone calls and e-mails. I would NEVER go back to him.

Dr. Hussey is excellent and his staff is outstanding. The procedure was thoroughly explained and Dr. Hussey did not rush in reviewing my MRI with me before I was taken into the procedure room. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Hussey explained what he was doing and was responsive to my questions. This is a highly competent, compassionate practice.

I would NEVER AGAIN see this "Dr." If he was the LAST Dr. on Earth,& some1 paid me money to go!! He's the absolute WORSE, most ARROGANT, & MOST RUDE "doctor" I've EVER seen!! He was HORRIBLE in general. It was a HUGE waste of my time & the ridiculous amount of money he charged for nothing. He asked me questions & cut me off~EVERY TIME I went to answer. I have been in such lower back pain since June2016 and it is very important for me to walk as I am a diabetic and it helps me maintain my sugars. Before I visited Dr.Husseys office I would walk one morning and it would take me two days laying flat in bed because of such pain. My experience was nothing short of fantastic. Dr Hussey is well versed on both up and coming medication, and also on what has been tried and true. I felt Dr Hussey was very confident, which made me feel that I picked the right doctor. It was a wonderful experience and I have been going to him ever since this initial appointment. Quite frankly I was nervous after reading the couple of reviews submitted for Dr. Hussey. Yes the facility is out dated and the staff is a little rough around the edges BUT my experience with Dr. Hussey was top notch. I would absolutely go back to him without question. He was very nice and explained the process very clearly. I had a few complications (nothing of his doing) and he called me from his cell phone on his way home later that day to check on me. Dr. Hussey really showed he cared.

The office is dark and dank and smells of food odors. The staff is short with patients, but not as short as Dr. Hussey. His time on the links must be far more important, than the very brief time he spends with his patients. The communication level is non existent, and records and referrals were never sent to my doctors. Dr. Hussey's attitude was condescending at best, and did nothing to answer or ease fears and questions. The staff often does not answer the phone, rolling to message.
