After suffering from melanoma and few cases of Basel cell carcinoma on my face I went trough 5 or 6 dermatologist including top hospitals in NY. The Dr. Eyal Levit REALLY the best dermatologist. Doctor Levit is an incredible doctor who is extremely knowledgeable and has a heart of gold. I am an RN who is training in aesthetics. I attend Empire Medical courses where the instructor failed to supervise another RN well enough to practice placing threads. Two weeks later I woke up with a huge swelling on the right side of my face and a blister under my eye. This condition was alleviated with antibiotics and prednisone treatment only to coma back again as soon as treatment would finish. In a meantime, I was relentlessly trying to get help from Empire Medicsl who in turn just told me that they won’t help and I should go to ER. Plastic surgeons would not set the appointment telling me that they don’t want problematic patient and for me to go to the place that caused the problem . I was caught in endless circle until ….. Dr Levit and his team ( Anna, Monica , Dr. Tacastacas Joselin ) and all other wonderful workers at the office accommodated me as soon as possible, realizing the severity of my condition. I am so grateful for their help. I will post my pictures later on after getting treated with Secret RF. Two days after procedure , without any steroids, the swelling is coming down. Today is the second day and my face is 80% less swollen. Dr. Levit and his team are absolutely top tier. I've had three procedures with him so far and each and every experience has exceeded my expectations. Most recently I had a cyst removed from my scalp. The cyst turned out to be a group of 3 that Dr. Levit identified right away. I didnt even feel him apply the anesthetic and after a few minutes of what i thought was waiting for the procedure to begin, it was over. He gave me detailed care instructions (basically just keep the area clean and lubricated) and called me the next day to check in. To PARENTS..READ! so none of you go through what we went through. Where do I start with Dr.Levit? I could write a whole essay to describe his EXCELLENCE in what he does!! He made me realize that not even a simple treatments are done the same by any doctor. My 7 year old battled MOLLUSCUM CONTAGIOSUM for over a year and after changing few dermatologists, we finally decided to pay out of our pocket for Dr.Levit’s opinion. That same day he treated my son’s molluscum with beetle juice and adviced us it would be the best treatment for it. Mind you, I saw drastic results by next day and I was amazed! Seeing the beetle juice is the answer, I made another appt with another doctor that our insurance covered. Biggest mistake my husband and I made. Beetle juice was different texture and color, and that dermatologist ended up over using it and burning the skin of my 7 year old leaving him in pain with blisters and scars! It was a nightmare. My family and I have been patients of Dr. Levit for many years. I had melanoma which was detected by Dr. Levit that literally saved my life. Dr. Levit had treated me but he also educated me. He took the time to teach me watch to look for between body scans. I saw him today because I noticed a change on my toe. Dr. Levit explained to me many years ago that melanoma can be under your nail beds, something I did not know. Recently I noticed a darkening under my toe. Good doctors, poor supporting staff. Billing department submitted the due co-pay amount to the collecting agency, though they had my credit card information. Didn't even give a call to ask for the balance amount and submitted to the collectors without realizing how big of a deal it is.

I was contemplating about writing a review and finally decided I must respond to the "Kind" remarks of the one star reviewers. "Surprisingly" they never visited our office, were never seen as patients or had ever been registered in the front desk, and thus were not patients of our practice. I and my staff work very hard to provide the best care we can and we love what we do so when we saw these reviews we took them to heart. I personally researched and could not find a single person on the one star list who ever visited or made appointment in our office. Now I doubt a competitor would stoop to this, so I wondered why someone would lie about visiting the office. I wondered, if one has the right to review the doctor saying he is bad if he never saw him or has never spoken to him? What if he felt his price was higher then he wanted it to be? Does that give him the right to give a bad review based on what he feels is cost appropriate? Has anyone reviewed the latest Broadway shows? The reviews are usually about content and the people choose to go if they want to buy the ticket or not. In my opinion in order to deliver the highest medical quality you must have a clean state of the art facility with well trained well staffed and well paid employees, you must have computerized system with proper lighting and equipment and maintain all the necessary certification and go to the continuing medical education meetings to know the latest in diagnosis and treatment. Surprisingly,this does not come free!!! I am curious. when one shops in the grocery does one comment that the organic milk is horrible because it is more pricey? (I understand if they tasted it but otherwise I would hope they wouldn't review it.) I would like to thank, from the bottom of my heart, to Dr. Eyal Levit that practically saved my face. A few months ago I notices some red marks on my face, and a few doctors decided I suffer from Herpes. These doctors also gave me a treatment that didn’t help and the horrible situation just deteriorated. As a last resort, I addressed Dr. Levit who immediately made a diagnosis of an infection that needs to be treated with antibiotics, and that it isn’t Herpes at all. Dr. Levit explained everything about the treatment I need to do, and after a few days everything vanished – like magic! Dr. Levit is one of the most amazing physicians I have ever met, which says a lot because I am a physician myself. Not only is he an exceptional dermatologist but his fund of general medical knowledge is outstanding. He also has an amazing bedside manner. He is so caring and genuinely concerned about his patients. In addition, his office staff goes above and beyond for the patients. Today I left the endoscopy procedure, and I have a chemical burn between the esophagus and the stomach because of the doctor's failure to take into consideration my side effects and stop the Accutane treatment. So extensive and swollen that I was prescribed strong medications treatment for three months. I want to say that I did not expect such an unprofessional attitude from Dr. Levit's office. I complained to the doctor two or three months about the side effects that I felt. It all started with the headaches. In the second wave of headaches, which lasted 24 hours for five days in a row, no painkillers helped me. I got a rush on the arms and legs and frequent nausea and general weakness during the third month. The doctor said that it was not from the "Accutane," but simply that a healthy 27-year-old girl could have a headache for 5 days without stop. When I contacted his office with acute pains and left the girls at the reception with my number, he did not call me back. When I finally got through to him, he said I had gastritis and headache before the treatment started, despite I was always a healthy person. And it turns out, according to him, this is not yet bad at all. Later I asked to talk to Dr. Levite about the acute pain which was getting worse, to which they told me he would speak to me for $ 250 only. (Tip— twice a week alternate side parking ends at 1pm which would make parking right in front very easy. Even though it was late in the afternoon, and the office was really ready to leave, I asked if it’s possible to take care of, and the staff and Dr. Levit stayed and performed a procedure to remove and biopsy a mole. Dr. Levit is a great doctor and a wonderful person. His surgical skills are superior. He is the only person I trust to do a biopsy on my face. You don’t even see a tiny mark or a dot on the skin after the procedure. He is amazing! He is very knowledgeable. I came to him with a rash on my face due to allergy and he gave me a cream. I applied it just once at night and my rash was almost gone the following morning. Dr. Levit is very kind, compassionate and warm person. He’s a great doctor and an amazing person. I came to the doctor Levit with dip scars from massage veloshape machine. I tried before other doctors who accepted my insurance without any results. Doctor Levit did not accept my insurance, but due to his reputation I decided go and be treated by him despite paying out off pocket. At first appointment I paid $385 for consultation. Doctor suggested use cremes first. After one month, on my second visit, it was obvious that cremes didn't work, and doctor started to do lazer sessions by guarantee me they going to help. I paid $500 for it, and after it doctor told that every next one will cost me less. Also, suddenly doctor mentioned that no guarantee my scars will disappear, maybe become look lighter. Now, for 2 weeks, without any improvement I decided to continue since $500 was already paid. After several attempts to make another appointment to continue, I was told that second session will cost me again $500 without any guarantee and was asking if I try any other doctors for more help. After such conversation I realized that D.Levit realized that he is not able to help me. His assistant assured me that he will contact me. It is never happened. As many people would have, I had my trepidation’s on going to a doctor that I have never visited. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience, from making the appointment to my actual visit. The entire staff is very caring, pleasant and helpful. Dr. Levit performed Mohs surgery on my hand. I was put at ease by Dr. Levit’s explanation on what to expect and the care after surgery. Dr. Levit’s surgical staff were very pleasant and caring. The same night of my procedure, at 6:00 PM, I received a phone call from Dr. Levit to follow up on how I felt. I waited several month for the appointment to Dr. Eyal Levit. Finally came that day and time. I waited without clothe-on not less than 50 minutes for a doctor in the exam room. He right away explained the cause gave me nonsteroidal pills and my rash cleared within 2days! He is a life saver. I came to Dr.Levit for Kybela shots on my chin and bottom jaw. Before I came there, I considered to have it done through Groupon to save some money, but after doing a lot of research, exchanging phone calls and e-mails with numerous of doctors, and reading hundreds of different reviews, I decided to pay full price and come to Dr. Levit. First of all, Dr.Levit and his team are very well qualified and professional, so i felt like I could trust them. He has a very friendly personality and explained everything I needed to know about the procedure and my options. The office was clean and bright. I had to come once a month for three months for my Kybella shots; there was some swelling for three days after every procedure, but then it would be gone and nobody at work would even notice. There was neither infections nor major bruising - only minor bruising which was normal for this procedure and only after the first treatment. In four weeks after every procedure I noticed favorable changes: my under-chin fat was melting down magically and my skin tightened. After three treatments I have great results am very happy with them! I am tremendously grateful to Dr. Levit and his team for an amazing job done with my Kybella treatment and I'll definitely come back to them if I want any other procedures in the future.
