Dr. Persaud is an excellent physician! I am a long time patient and I am very disappointed that he abruptly sold his office and from what I heard he is no longer practice. Please please please, if anyone on this thread becomes aware of his location or any information on his whereabouts please please please share on this thread. As of July 2020 Dr. Persaud no longer at practice. Great doctor he’s missed. Would like to know we’re he has gone. Would truly follow him, extremely personable awesome bedside manner.

Dr. Persaud tends to be extremely attentive, detailed, and a professional personal doctor in my opinion. He genuinely shows care and concern for his patients. Often offers follow up to appointments and encourages me to not hesitate if I have any concerns. Never seems rushed or impatient. Upfront, with Debra and Jordan, They add to the great experience in this doctors office. They, like Dr. Persaud, offer all the assistance needed. I would recommend Dr. Persaud to anyone. He is only good for dispensing drugs and not diagnosing.I requested his signature for a diagnostic mammogram because alump was found in my breast and my mother died of breast cancer. He says he is not allowed to request diagnostic mammograms even if the testing office calls him to let know he is allowed to sign the form. I had to find a new doctor to get test, a biopsi, then months of chemo, and lastly a masectomy. I am still heart broken over time wasted before my first diagnostic test.

I’m a new patient and from the very first follow up call the experience was bar none. Jordan handle my registration swiftly. Technology and Follow is on point. Upon my first visit it was nothing less than phenomenal. This is how you operate a practice. 5 stars no doubt! Much respect!

Dr. Persaud does not seem to want to do anything beyond write prescriptions. He speaks like he cares about his patients, but his actions show that he only cares about making money. His office has high turnover and he hardly gets to know his patients. He is self-centered and has no compassion for his patients. He used Google to explain my illness to me! Fortunate for him, his office staff is very friendly. I was more impressed with two PAs I saw in his office than I was with him.

I've been with Dr. E for 15 plus years now, very compassionate, and takes the time to listen to his patients. I never feel rushed during my appointments or feel that he's not interested. He's extremely smart and genuinely concerned for the welfare of his patients.

I had been a patient for more than 10 years. I been though staff changes but remained loyal. I was referred to Dr Persaud by Dr Dara Paul whom I love dearly. I reluctantly saw him & we developed a great professional relationship. I know realize that as long as I was willing to pay more than $120 every 6-8 weeks for follow ups/refills everything was great. When my insurance changed & he didn’t accept it he wouldn’t take 5-10 mins of his time to fill out a form for a medication he knew I required.

Dr. Persaud Jr has been my family physician for 23 years. He is a caring and compassionate physician. I highly recommend Dr. Persaud to anyone seeking a family medicine doctor. He has great bedside manner, and wants to make sure his staff are treating the patient’s right! He listens to the patients concerns and address them, and then asks if you have any other questions or concerns. I can truly say he has been a God send for my family and me.

On 3/16/17 I had an appointment with Dr.Persaud. I arrived at 3890 Redwine Rd address and his office is no longer there. I called his office and staff gave me 3885 Princeton Lakes Pkwy Ste#412. and I stated that the address needs to be fixed. I was frustrated due to this and felt as if i was being brushed off when I made the complaint. I stated on phone to staff that i would talk to Dr.Persaud about it. Apparently the staff told Dr Persaud that i had been rude because when he entered the room he was slightly polite but he then stated that i could not be rude to his staff..He didnt ask why I was upset nor showed any concern.I took upon myself to state to him that my frustration was a result of me going to wrong address because it is wrong on website. He said that not correcting it was his decision because he would loose patients (????). I must say that his bedside manner has taken downward spiral because to walk in the room and not first try to find out why I may have been upset and then when I explained he still didnt care but instead gave a sensless explanation told me a lot. If his office was in a white area EVERTHING on the website would have been correct. Apparently noone has said anything which is usually what black people do so that has caused Dr Persaud to not be concerned that his address is wrong and that his staff is giving correct address which is different.This also has to do with his poor bedside manner because your staff can be good and not always be right. He used to be a good doctor, but for some reason after I went back to him after moving back into the area, he was disrespectful and was quite full of himself! I had been seeing a number of doctors and after one doctor would give me medication and the other would change it and it was quite stressful and I always felt weak and didn't want to take the medication at all! So I remembered when he was in Union City, how attentive he was. Well I guess he thought I was coming there for another reason and just about threw me out of his office! This was a few years ago and I am still battling several health issues, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, nerve damage, heel spurs, etc., but I'll never forget the way he talked down to me like I purposefully made myself sick to come and see him! Nice office atmosphere, very professional, not very personable (except the lab, he makes my visit worth it every time. Funny guy, makes the needles not so bad). My only/major concern is that it is not easy to get an appointment when actually SICK.

He is a very good physician, he is easy to talk to and he really seems to listen. I've been a patient of his when he worked with Dr. Kenneth Jones(about 18 yrs give or take a year), when he left that practice to open his own I actually let Dr. Jones to drive further just to continue to see him. There's two words I would use to critique him "He Cares". Now having said that I do have two complaints, there have been times when I have sat in his office for over 2 hours that's too long. The other complaint is his staff changed quite a few times, some of them are friendly and some weren't so friendly. Would I recommend him still ? Yes, I my likes out weigh my dislikes. I love Dr. Persaud! He actually speaks to his patients on the phone and his staff is always courteous and professional. It's not often that you find a great doctor who cares about you and your family!

Today was my first visit with Dr. Persaud. I was recommended by another physician that I used in the past. I called to schedule an appointment and had the pleasure of speaking with the sweetest young lady "Jordan" who went above and beyond to make sure I would be seen by Dr. Persaud within two weeks. She called me back to confirm my appointment and asked if I needed directions to the location. My experience was phenomenal. From the moment I entered the office I noticed it was clean with a contemporary, comfortable setting. I was greeted by the smile of Selena who assisted me with a clipboard while completing new patient paperwork. Upon completing my paperwork I was called back by Debra who checked my vitals. She was very pleasant and friendly. I told her it was my first visit with Dr. Persaud and she eased my concerns by answering questions regarding how long he's been practicing and how he cares for his patients. After Debra completed my vitals, I waited 5 minutes and Dr. Persaud came into the room to begin my annual physical. He was very kind, friendly and funny. He asked about my customer service experience with his staff. I told him that they all made quite an impression. He was very thorough in my exam. He explained what he was doing throughout my exam and made me feel very comfortable. He also spoke briefly about the importance of incorporating good diet and exercise in my everyday activities. After finishing the exam he introduced me to Demarcus who was very friendly and funny while taking my labs. He had a great attitude and can make anyone smile. I have no complaints about Dr. Persaud and his team. They extended a warm greeting and were very professional. I hope that my initial impression of Dr. Persaud and his staff are consistent throughout my visits. When I think about my overall experience two words come to mind...impeccable professionalism. My name is Andrea. My experience with Dr. Persaud Jr has been superb! He has been my physician for 16 years.He genuinely cares about your well being. Great since of humor and definitely bedside manners!I remember a few times, I just wasn't feeling my best and received a call from Dr. Persuad the next day to see if I was doing better. That meant a lot! What more could one ask for.

I have been a patient of Dr. Persaud's for over a decade. He is the most wonderful doctor I have ever seen. He listens to and addresses every single concern I have, no matter how inconsequential. His bedside manner is incomparable. I have never felt so at ease in any doctor's office. I wish there were more doctors like him, and I recommend him to everyone looking for a good doctor.
