Dr. Evie Adelman

A short time ago, I needed a therapist to help me navigate personal and family relationships. Dr. Adelman helped me- immensely- to get on solid footing. I felt comfortable with her from the very start. I am in the process of referring a friend to her.

I felt instantly comfortable with Dr. Adelman. I have seen her for four months and am feeling calmer and more confident than I have in a long time.

Dr. Evie Adelman is a caring and compassionate person. She has been a great support through some very difficult times. I respect and trust her. I would recommend her to family and friends.

Dr Adelman is very unprofessional. She has an outrageous attendance policy where if you don't cancel 48 hours in advance you will be charged anywhere from 50 to $100. She claimed to know what my medicare copay was even though she had not submitted a claim. Our appt started 10 minutes late. She did not give me a receipt for the copay. I did not get a copy of anything that I signed that day. She ended our session 15 minutes early. A JOKE of an initial consult. DO NOT go here looking for help!

I called Dr. Adelman's office a week after my referral was approved to schedule an appointment. I left a nice voicemail 4 hours later, I receive a phone call from her secretary, being extremely rude and insensitive, claiming Dr. adelman is on vacation and the soonest appt is over 2 weeks out. I stated that would be fine and i was available on mondays at anytime. The secretary acted like i was being impossible!! I was so upset that she spoke to me this way. I had my referral changed!!
