Dr. Everett Albert Moody

Dont waste your money. Moody can hardly talk. They didnt do any eye checks and gave a hefty bill of 400$.

I haven’t seen Doctor Moody since I was a lot younger but I do thank him for everything he did for me during my early years! I am now 25 and was blessed to have him and Doctor Wadley in Abilene as my eye doctors.

My 5 year old and I had a great experience at Dr. Moody’s office. The receptionists were friendly and helpful on the phone and upon our arrival. Dr Moody was able to give me accurate information about my son’s possible strabismus. The office and reception area were clean and welcoming.

Did not give correct address for appointment. Rude and insensitive staff.

Been taking my son here for over 5 years. Dr. Moody and his staff are excellent. Always so understanding, welcoming and all around great atmosphere.

Irving staff is HORRIBLE ! I went to pick up my Down syndrome 2 year old daughter’s FIRST time glasses and I was meet at the door with balance, which was fine it covered the insurance on the glasses but what came after total rudeness. A little over a week earlier we went in for a fitting to find I assumed the perfect fit for her small head. Well the off the shelves glasses that her insurance would pay were too lose so the lady opens up a drawer and gets a thick ajustable strap out and tries it on and ???????? Fits good and perfect but she tells me the ones your getting don’t come with this strap BUT I always have some around only thing is it won’t be the same color I’ll note your account so that I can get you one. Ok Great! Well when I picked up I asked what about the strap and that lady said I don’t know I was just told to give them to you I think she with someone but I’ll let her know you want to see her OK so that lady comes out and I ask her for the strap she says I don’t have any your don’t come with that, I said yeah but you said you would get me one, so then goes on to I guess remind me thats what my insurance paid for “Medicaid” regardless how or who paid for the eyewear she CANT wear them there too BIG! Then she goes on to tell me that I can go online to find something that will work or people get creative???? I don’t think I and Medicaid paid for US to get creative!!! Then finishes up with Im trying to help you LOL she far from helping me! I had already issues with customer service we have been going for a 1year and half. Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! We scheduled his appointment over a month ago December 11th!!! I got a call on February 3rd to go over insurance and COVID questions!!! My mom pulls up 45 minutes early and calls and was told my son doesn’t have an appointment!!! He’s not even in the system!! I’m at work had to walk off the floor to call!! Spoke to a Monica who told me his information must have accidentally gotten deleted!!! How and why would that accidentally happen to a patient!!! So I had to redo everything and provide everything again!!! What made me mad as that Monica showed to empathy are true concerns about this!!!! Thank you Ruby so much for calling and taking good care of my son and mom!! Thank you so much for understanding why I was upset and making sure I was better as a patient!! Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Excellent environment and updated office. I wouldn't trust any other doctor with my son's eyes.

Wish I could give ZERO stars. The doctor is good, but the staff needs training to behave with customers. Billing department is a WRECK and they need complete overhaul. Never going back and will not recommend to anyone.

Dr. Moody is a great doctor. His Arlington staff is very kind. He helped my daughters vision. However, the Irving office staff is completely unprofessional, they argue with patients and take forever to figure out a simple question. They need to be better trained and more patient and kind. Great atmosphere and staff . I would highly recommend dr Kumar. I know my child is getting the best care .

Dr. Moody has helped my son regain vision in his left eye. The staff is very helpful and works with you to make sure your taken care of

He is the best Doc, I trust for my Child. Yeah bit expensive for me, but definitely the man to trust to get better treatment for my child. Would definitely recommend him without second thought.

Dr.Moody is great my daughter loves him it was her 1st surgery ever he made sure we had parents felt good about our decision to have surgery by explaining everything to us in detail. Dr. Moody is such a great doctor and wonderful with my kids. His staff is great too. They're all very professional and sweet, even the young man. The office is always so clean and neat.

I had Strabismus surgery to correct the alignment of both my right and left eyes. The surgery was very successful my eyes are aligned and my vision is amazingly better than it has ever been.

He has patience when it comes to my child, even during surgery he cares even more, I will never never take my child anywhere else

Dr. Moody is very knowledgeable and great with kids. You can trust him. Just be patient with the wait. The staff is very friendly too and the office is colorful.

My son was born with Down Syndrome 39 yrs ago. Dr. Moody was there for us then, and he's still there for us now. He was recommended as the best Pediatric Ophthalmologist in the DFW area in the late '70s, and he has retained our confidence and trust all these years. We are so fortunate to have him perform the strabismus surgery when my son was still a toddler, and again when he was a teen (that is often typical, as they grow). We have returned to Dr. Moody every single year for checkups and the man never ages or changes. His patience and kindness with my son, who can be rather difficult, has always warmed my heart and is most appreciated. I'm so thankful that he enjoys his work so much that he has chosen not to retire. Who is so fortunate enough to have seen the same wonderful ophthalmologist for nearly 40 yrs? My son, that's who. Our youngest son was one of Dr. Moody's greatest challenges, but he did wonders for our son. Our son is now graduated from A&M, married with two children and a day doesn't go by that every time we see our son we thank Dr Moody. Great Doctor. If you have to wait, remember, you are dealing with one of the best.

They are a little crowded but the technology is a little dated but i still think it gets the job done

1st and last visit! Never will go back!!! If I could would give ZERO stars!!! Run down place and no technology! Doctors all stacked up, very cramped and sick kids everywhere!!!

Dr. Moody is excellent. True-the office is extremely busy and crowded, but that is due to high demand. He is a specialist and one of the best in his field. I took my son there and now my grandson sees him. He's great with kids that have special eye problems. I'm truly grateful that he is still practicing in Irving and at the same location. We went here for quite some time because one of my daughters had to have surgery, twice. Dr. Moody did both of them. He's nice and seems very knowledgeable but his answer to everything is surgery and he mumbles and talks fast and I can't understand what he's saying. But the worst is the office. How do you have an office for babies and kids and wait times are upwards of 2 hours? I mean the office is always way too crowded and the wait time is ridiculous. We left because of this ridiculousness.

Our family has been patients of Dr. Moody for over 15 years. He is proccessional and explains things thoroughly. For children he's the best and thinks outside the box to help his patients.
