Excellent physician and one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. He is the best of the best!

My appointment with Dr. Nicholas was emotionally abusive at worst and subtly demeaning at best. I would give negative stars if possible. He repeatedly undermined my own experience of my body and the issues I went in to see him for and pompously touted his credentials when I disagreed with him or asked how to do things better. As if that wasn't bad enough he also made it apparent that he thinks poor people should not have access to adequate medical treatment, spewing conservative talking points about the inefficiencies of socialized medicine. I'm not a person who usually writes reviews but I hope this will prevent other people from having to interface with him.

I had severe daily pain with neck arthritis. Dr Nicolas really helped me get my posture back as best he could, and loosened up my neck. A previous doc had told me I’d have to learn to live with the pain, but after a number of treatments by Dr Nicolas I’m feeling very much improved. I hardly ever need any pain medication. It’s been great. I highly recommend him.

I had been struggling with arthritis and limited mobility in my neck, and had tried physical therapy and visited an orthopedic firm. These avenues did not help. Then I saw a physiatrist DO who recommended the spinal manipulation group at PCOM. I saw some good reviews for them and decided to give them a try. Dr Nicholas fully explained just what was going on after seeing my x-rays from the earlier orthopedic group (where their solution was "get a shot") ..He has done some manipulation like traction, and given me some home care instruction that have changed my life so much! Not only is the mobility in my neck quite a bit better, but I am pain free most of the day now. I only take an OTC ibuprofen once in a while. .. and that is just after just 3 visits. He is a good listener and really understands how the body responds to various adjustments that help. I definitely recommend him!
