To say I would not recommend is an understatement. Would give zero stars if possible. Brought my child in to have a common ankle injury treated, next thing I know DYFS is banging down my door. When at the hospital the doctor and nurses said the intrusive questions they were asking were standard procedure for the injury. When I asked DYFS about this they said it wasn’t standard procedure and that this was a common injury and there was no need for them to have ever been called.

In 2018, I got the dreaded call from the school nurse that my son got hurt in gym and that It was best to come pick him up to get X-rays. I picked my son up, took him to the ER and they said he sprained his ankle, follow up with an orthopedic. That evening (8p) my sons ankle blew up and his toes were turning blue, so I rushed him to a different hospital (Riverview) I had the xrays from other hospital on me, but they were able to pull it up in the system and we were told that his ankle was actually broken and thru a growth plate, he needed emergency surgery to put in screws. As a mother I was terrified that my son had to go under anesthesia and my son was terrified to face his 1st ever surgery. Dr Curatolo came in, explained the entire procedure in detail, calmed my son down to the point he was laughing and told me that he would take care of him as he was his own. Dr Curatolo did just that and more!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him for all your children’s orthopedic needs!

Dr. Curatolo is the best. He is caring, kind and a fantastic orthpedic too.. His bedside manner is amazing. He truly cares about the patient and takes whatever time is required for you to understand, ask questions etc. He went out of his way to meet us in an emergency. Thank you once again for being there for my family.

He took care of my grandson and was absolutely fantastic.

My son broke his arm in Long Beach. After being seen in the local hospital, it was determined he needed more specialized care. We were taken by ambulance to Red Hook/Hackensack hospital to be seen by Dr Curatolo. I can’t say enough great things about him, he was kind, knowledgeable, patient. He explained what happened, what he was going to do to help and what to expect. His works is precise, only settling for perfection. We opted to travel an hour and a half every week to see him for follow up care. He is amazing. We are grateful to have care from such a good doctor.

He is amazing !! My son 18 months recently fracture his arm in two places Dr Curatolo was very gentle and informative he guide me through the procedure and is awesome with children I will highly recommended him to anyone

Dr Curalolo was amazing with my son! He was kind, smart, informative and patient in helping us get the assistance we needed. He truly is an asset the medical community!
