Everytime I call the front office hangs up on me. Very unprofessional and unethical. I have called 8 times now and purposely been hung up on every time. When I called a few months ago, they also did the same thing. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. Bad business and don’t care about their patients. Save ur time and see another doctors office. I will be switching as this place has gone down hill for the worst.

I think Dr. Allen is a figment of the imagination. I have not seen his face in 5 yrs except for the marketing film that runs constantly in the waiting room. Have come across several PAs that seemed to know their business but each time I visit there is someone new. All they do is refer you to someone else and charge you a co-pay for doing it. Find someone else.

I don't appreciate sharing a name with this person. They have a 2 star rating on a separate rating website. They cancel you as a patient if you miss even one appointment. Even if you miss the appointment because you were in the hospital. "Its our policy that you have to call 24 hours before your appointment and say you won't make it." They said, annoyed and unapologetic. I didn't call, because, I was unconscious. Never met a single doctor with a soul or integrity but Evan Allen takes the prize for the worst. Such a terrible office, I have been a client there for 4 years, i went to the hospital and couldn't make my appointment and the let me go as a patient, I ended up getting really sick, i would never have been a patient if i knew that was what they were gonna do, would not recommend this place, completely unethical .

The worst office in practice! Please do not go here. I went in on a Tuesday for med and did not get one scrip called in which has put me in a huge outbreak of shingles I don’t see how there still in practice. 8 days to call a scrip in unacceptable. Then I went in for a bladder infection and they Perscreption they gave me was azo which you can get over the counter which put me in the hospital for a uti. I’m switching doctors office. I've been coming to this office since 2011 and had been very satisfied. The staff from the front desk to the nurses were friendly. Then, out of nowhere, I was told that my insurance (HPN Medicaid, then all forms of Medicaid) would not be accepted after July 7, 2021. That made me feel bad as they'd become like family after a decade. Adding insult to injury, the very next day they said they'd not take my insurance effective immediately. I wanted to stay and pay cash (I'd done this for years) and they still said, emphatically, "no". 12/22/2020 On Thursday, December 10th, 2020, I had a scheduled appointment at Total Care Family Practice. When I arrived, the receptionist was on a personal phone call for at least five minutes before acknowledging me, only to inform me I did not have an appointment. I explained to her that I called on Tuesday and got a last-minute appointment for Thursday (12/10/20) at 4:45 pm. I made the appointment in order to obtain a much needed referral. The receptionist kept insisting that she could not help me because the system showed I did not have an appointment. I brought up a few things, such as PA Courtney working today and Erum Malik who is out of town next week, to which the receptionist confirmed. I then said to the receptionist, "if I didn't call and schedule my appointment, how would I know this information?" She continued to state she could not help me and asked if I could come back the following day. I expressed to the receptionist that the error was done on their end and the need for my referal was urgent as I have two broken arms and have to obtain rides to all appointments. The receptionist continued to tell me that there was nothing she could do as I was not in the system with an appointment. I kindly asked her to please speak with Courtney to see if it was possible for her to see me in order to get the referral I desperately needed to which the receptionist refused. I asked her, "If you were in my place what would you do?" Her response; "Hmm, before coming in, I would call and ask if I have an appointment." Why would I call and ask if I have an appointment that I scheduled and confirmed two days ago? I could see maybe if it was scheduled a month ago, but even then I shouldn't have to. I kindly asked her again to speak with Courtney hoping she could see me as it was only for the referral. Again, the receptionist responded by planting herself even more comfortably in her chair and said, "I am not getting out of my chair and I am not going to ask Courtney if she will see you." I asked for the office Manager's name and as I was leaving the office the receptionis yells out with a very sarcastic and mocking tone, "Bye Bye Romella, have a great evening." At no point in our interaction did she want or even consider assisting me in resolving the issue. I can't help but think she actually enjoys and thrives off of messing with patients. Speaking to the office manager was pointless as well. They say the apple doesnt fall far from the tree, this statement couldn't be more true for this office. I let the Office Manager (Robin Miller) know that I will no longer be coming back. A few days ago, I received a letter from Total Care saying they are dismissing me as a patient. Furthermore, Dr. Evan Allen never actually sees his patients. Even if the reason for the appointment is severe, you still only see his PA. Yet somehow, you're still billed the Doctor's rate. I feel as though the treatment I received in this office was unacceptable. I am 100% certain I made an appointment and regardless of the situation I found myself in I should have still been treated with respect. It is extremely difficult for me to get around as I cannot drive myself at the moment. The people I have to ask favors of need to be close given the current situation with COVID-19. I understand there are protocols for every office however, this was not my mistake. I truly believe some effort should have been made to help me out since it was clear I had not gotten there myself, all I needed was a referral, and I had clearly made my appointment in lieu of Courtney's schedule. On top of all of this, the audacity this office has to try and dismiss me as a patient was the cherry on top. This is the worst I have ever been treated and I hope that by writing this review others will not have to go through what I went through. P.S. Do not use this practice (Total Care Family Practice). Period. Wish I'd read these reviews before going but it was the only one I could quickly get an appt with between a crummy ACA plan and COVID. The office staff is extremely brash and rude, very unsympathetic to the fact that they have patients - people who are sick and need help. The doctor (#1) was not thorough and made a misdiagnosis. My wife went in because she was feeling fatigued and weak. Having received bloodwork results, Dr. Courtney Jee diagnosed that my wife's fatigue was a result of EBV. My wife, thinking that she was (still) infectious, decided to have everyone in the family tested. When I arrived for my appointment, I was rushed by the nurse to finish paperwork - literally given a time limit and told I would lose my appt if I didn't finish (meanwhile trying to attend to my wife not feeling well, her mother, our 5 y/o). Few people who work here are really nice, it's not their fault but the truth needs to be told to all. I came to the clinic to get shots for my shoulder and back pain, had called Robin from frontdesk a week before my appointment, she should have got it "Approved by my Insurance" but she didn't and she didn't let me know, to save my money & time. I drove from Las Vegas to Henderson for my appointment to get the pain shots, waited for 30 minutes just to be told to "come back" next week. This, for me was the final straw, Enough is Enough. I came to the Clinic to get "TRIGGER SHOTS for my BACK & SHOULDER PAIN", had called Robin from the FrontDesk a week before my appointment, she could have easily got it "APPROVED by my INSURANCE" BUT she DID NOT get it "APPROVED" and SHE DID NOT TAKE 1 MINUTE TO LET ME KNOW about it. I did not deserve to be treated in a disrespectful way. I went to the PCP office and asked for an extension for my referral about my vaccination. I was not aware of the expiration date of my referral so I received my vaccine from the health district a few days after the expiration date. I have never been notified about the referral nor have I received a copy of my referral. I explained it to the manager, Robin, she said it was my responsibility to make sure I was aware of the expiration date and cover the bills. How was I supposed to be awake of the expiration date when I was never notified about it and never received a copy of it? I simply asked for an extension and explained the reasons several times. She refused my request, I tried to have her talked to my insurance company , she stated, “I will not talk to them!” She also said, “ After this , I will remove you from the patient list! You can’t come back to this office and you need to find another PCP!” I told her I would not leave until the issue was addressed. She said they were closing so I needed to go, I told her I would come back tomorrow. She stated “I prefer you not to come back !” “If you don’t leave I will call the police!” “The door is that way!” All I wanted was an extension for my referral.

I am really upset with the person by the name of CJ who answers the phone at this office. I have been trying to get my prescription refilled for motrin and so far have not been able to get it filled. I really wish I would of read the reviews before I went to this office. Evan Allen does not see any of his patience. Only his PA’s. My husband was having breathing issues and the PA did not even put a stethoscope on him to check what was going on. When you get a test result, nobody calls you back or follows up. Even if it is abnormal. I went for a brain MRI and waited almost two weeks for “Dr. Allen” to read over my results. The test came back abnormal and they didn’t even call me back to follow up. I am now moved out of state and have yet to receive any paperwork of my tests or an email which they have promised me. Robin who answers the phone straight up told me she didn’t want to waste her time by relaying my question to a doctor. I don't understand the negative reviews here about Dr. Evan Allen, as I met Dr. Evan Allen in person, know him for few years. Truth is, all these negative reviews are from people who are jealous and trying to "hurt his good name, good reputation, his business". First day when I met Dr. Evan Allen, we exchanged few words in Turkish, talked about the US military, HIS LOVE for the USA, US veterans and his never ending love for serving patients in his very professional, passionate and nice Clinic. I call his business/clinic as a: "CLINIC for ALL" as Dr. Evan Allen NEVER discriminates, he accepts "ALL INSURANCES" and he makes sure that his employees TREAT ALL PATIENTS with dignity, respect and kindness. This place only wants money from you. They made my wife 3 separate appointments in 5 days instead of taking care of everything in one day. They never kept record of a referral to a cardiologist THAT THEY MADE FOR HER last year and expected her to pay again to just ask the doctor for a referral. She has to pay because they cant do their job... honestly surprised we weren't billed for occupying the waiting room. Stay away!

Office hours show till 6 pm on web site but can’t see a doctor then. Only a PA or Nurse. Have to be seen by doctor no later than 2:30. So healthcare there is only between 9-2:30. Any other time there is no doctor

The scheduling coordinator, which I assume is the same as the rude front desk coordinator is no delight. She’s unfriendly and seems inconvenienced by your existence. Someone needs to put their foot down to this grouchy women and make sure she understands without the patients she has no job. Luckily the doctor was great, or else no one would ever come here. Just moved back to Vegas. If you need a great doc and great staff, go here. From intake to the doctor, nothing but professionalism. I'm almost 62 and my body's going through those old age problems. Just yesterday had my first visit. It was with Henry Rucker, APRN. He was great, very pleasant, even funny. The staff was very nice, sweet, pleasant. This was the nicest office visit I have ever experienced. The office was spotless, and I was greeted by the receptionist immediately upon entering. She was so congenial, gave me the "new patient" paper work and explained all I needed to know. I was called in for my appointment ON TIME (how wonderful) and went in to see the PA. She was as sweet as she could be, a smile on her face, and ready to find out all about me. She was so insightful, noting everything we talked about, and then turned me over to Dr. Allen, as this was my first visit, and that is protocol. saw Dr yrs ago. Had pain in my hand. He never did tests. I wish I could've figured it out myself b4 it was too late but that's y he is a dr. After he left the practice a new Dr took the time & xrayed my neck. I needed a spinal surgery asap. I ended up having RSD which now yrs later has spread throughout my body. This is the worst doctor's office. You do not even see a real doctor. My husband went three times before the doctor finally saw him and everyone he saw gave him different answers. We also had to pay 3 times for them to still not know anything. Absolutely the WORST. Do not go to this practice.

This place is aweful the wait time is very long every time. I sent both my parents there as their Medicare provider. I had 10 am appointment didn’t get out of there till 4 pm. I had both of my parents with me and they sent my dad to mountain vista hospital across town for a non emergency. I stopped at drive threw in the way because they were both starving! The PA called a social worker on me for stopping to feed them on the way to the hospital! Once we got to the hospital we then had another 3.5 hour wait. Could you imagine how hungry they would be If I didn’t stop for food? I changed priamary care for both my parents to someone much more competent. It is hard enough to manage with two I’ll parents. Well ....back to the drawing board, not the doctor for me. I spent hours reading doctor profiles since I just moved into the area. I choose dr Allen because he had lived in California, had military experience and spoke Turkish. When I got there, I was told I was seeing the PA, not the doctor even though I specifically said o wanted to meet the doctor to find a good new primary. I went in for a painful knee and I filled out all of the past history, but when the PA came in, she never examined me, never touched the knee and just said she would recommend physical therapy and cortisone since im not willing to get a knee replacement? So I asked if I could get the injection and she said I have to reschedule? Than she recommend an anti inflammatory shot and some pain meds. Than the nurse came in and said your good to go? I said what about the injection and prescriptions and she told me to hold on. She than came, asked for a credit card to pay another $25. When she returned she said again, your good to go....seriously? So I reminded her again for the injection and she finally went and got it, as well as the prescription. I asked if she can call in the medication and she said kinda snotty, I would but you didn't list a pharmacy on your paperwork (which the PA also said) Not only did I list one but gave the address and phone number of my pharmacy. I asked if I should make the cortisone appointment with dr Allen and was told...naw...he doesn't really see patients, he just reviews charts? I said I picked him because he speaks Turkish and my husband is from Turkey and she said, well if your husband makes an appointment and he's around he can pop in and say hi if there is a language problem. I've had the misfortune of being a patient at this office for about a year. Out of around a dozen appointments, I saw the doctor once for 15 minutes. He told me that he could "cure" my Diabetes that I've had since I was 10. He encouraged me to follow a vegan diet heavily based on potatoes and corn because "there were lower incidents of Diabetes in 19th century Ireland." When I asked for the citations for these studies, I was told I could pay to take his special classes where he taught people like me how to "reverse Diabetes." This contradicts everything any endocrinologist or dietitian has ever told me. Simply put, it's dangerous information. He basically uses his practices to lure people into his special VIP club where you get access to his classes and actual health care. He has front desk staff running 1-minute EKGs and any test they can dream up to charge extra. His billing agent has threatened to turn me into collections over a $75 that is simply a mistake that I've tried to correct over several months. She also screamed at me on the phone. His front desk staff gave me someone else's file, violating their HIPPA rights. I'm filing official complaints with every governing and regulatory board for doctors that I can find. At best, this person is a quack. At worst, he's simply milking patients to support his VIP care practice. AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL Costs. My first experience at this office was perfection. I did not have to wait, the staff was friendly, helpful and efficient, the restroom was spotless, and the physicians assistant I saw, Andrea Warburton, was wonderful. I don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews Granted, the waiting area is very plain, but that’s not important. I was very impressed that a video was playing in the waiting area of the office with the doctor discussing the importance of diet in achieving good health. We have been patients with the practice and have never seen a doctor, just PAs. Dr Allen only works on his new age wellness practice, never any actual medicine. Today I called to get help for my wife and only 1 PA was there and the receptionist could not care less about our needs. I will be billing Dr. Allen for the urgent care co-pay of $50.00

I've been treated at both Dr. Allen's Wellness & Medical Center and family practice. The Wellness & Med Ctr is a concierge service, so you have to pay. I received excellent care at both practices. At the family practice you only see the physician's assistant (PA), unless Dr. A is needed. I found the PA to be thorough & patient. I went to the Wellness Ctr and got outstanding advice on cholesterol/taking a statin. Dr. A talked through all my blood work and talked through all pros and cons.

All the reviews are correct. He only sees VIP patients. They also hassle you to join his special "Wellness Classes." He makes outrageous claims and refuses to provide the research to back them up unless you pay hundreds of dollars for his classes. He's a quack and a disgrace to the profession. His office staff is also equally awful. No wonder you an always get an appointment...with an Assistant, never him. He's the worst.

I am an asthmatic . . . . I visited this office on a Monday . . . . . I told the medical professional at this location that I had been asthmatic for the last 30 years and told him about my regular regiment of medication that resolves my problem. He treated this as a chest cold, gave me the antibiotics and cough suppressant and did not give me the Prednisone (which cures my condition)gave me a referral to take a chest x-ray (after telling me he did not hear any wheezing in my chest). It is now Friday, I received no follow up on this X-Ray. On Thursday, my wheezing became so bad and I became so sick that I went to an Advanced Urgent Care facility on 9975 S. Eastern Avenue, Suite 110 Las Vegas, Nevada 89183. Within a half hour they had me on a two nebulizer treatments, and had to give me a steroid shot because I was so week and sent me home with Nebulizer medication and Prednisone. After the two treatments in the Office I became functional, I was able to actual go on with my life. The antibiotics that Dr Allens office issued me did cure the Upper Respiratory infection that I had, as for the cough suppressant, it has little effect on an as asthmatic cough and left me with more body aches then when I went to Dr. Allens Office. Started here as a new primary and needed a physical for work. I gave them a sheet wth everything I needed and they ended up charging me for labs I didn't even ask for or know about. I gave my physical to the check in clerk, nurse, then doctor and because I didn't give it to there on site blood work clerk, I'm at fault for not communicating? Melissa said they would develop new practices at the office to clear this up in the future but that doesn't help me now... at the end of the day it's a $75 bill they handled poorly for a new client. This is the worst office we've ever dealt with. All this office cares about is getting you in on your insurance and then flipping you into a VIP by you paying out of pocket for special treatment; if you refuse to join, anything and everything you request gets ignored. For myself it took over two weeks to get a referral for cpap supplies and that was with me calling at least 3 times a week. As for my wife, the referral request supposedly had been on Dr Richards, the PA desk for over 3 weeks and was never approved. So either Anthony the doctors assistant keeps lying to us telling us it's on his desk waiting for him to even look at it or the doctors here don't care about the patients unless you are a VIP and keep pushing your request to the bottom of the pile. My wife had to go to the hospital because of fluid in her lungs, we followed up with Dr Richards after her release, we got a referral to a gastro Dr who did an endoscopy and said we needed to next see ENT & pulmonary dr so we went back to our pcm whom we already talked about both ENT & Pulmonary to get a referral for both...3 weeks of calling and nothing was ever done by these guys except ignore us and give us the around. After 3 weeks of calling these guys we went back to the gastro Dr and he gave us the referral to ENT and now we will be forced to go to Urgent Care for pulmonary until we can get a new pcm to give us a referral. Be cautious and be warned if you choose to go here. My wife is suffering and they don't care. Again I'm not sure if it's Dr. Allen, Dr. Richards or Anthony? He tries to get you to come in for another unnecessary visit way before you are due to. The only logical reason is he wants your money! His 2 best PAs he had didn't even stay with him for a year! There are issues in his office definitely!
