Trying to make a new patient appt. They weren’t even in office by 1:15pm so I called back. Then I called back and before anyone said anything they hung up tried back and couldn’t get a hold of anyone even though they say press 0 for a live operator. If this is how they operate definitely don’t want them as a dr. Not sure how they got good reviews their office staff is HORRIBLE

I saw another Dr in Dr Lams place and it was a great informative appointment.

Dr Eugene Lam is really The Best In The Valley. He did perform my esophagogastroduodenoscopy and colonoscopy and he was the BEST. Yesterday I got a result from a " blood test" which was ordered by another GI and I messaged Dr Lam in my portal because I got mixed up with the results. Less than 30 minutes I got his response, and he explained everything. That was a blessing . He does really care for his patients. Thank you Dr. Lam.

Had a telehealth visit. They called on time, doctor heard my concerns and listened to me about my symptoms. He was kind, and explained tests he was ordering very throughly. I look forward to the next follow up visit.

Great patient engagement from the front office staff to Dr. Lam himself. As a new patient I was made to feel he had been my Doctor for many years.

Just had my first consult with Dr. Lam and he was wonderful. Seems like a real doctor who is both knowledgeable and compassionate. He was very thorough and efficient but didn't make you feel like he was rushing you along. Offered great suggestions and answered all my questions. Dr Lam and his staff were friendly, thorough and informative. I thought a virtual meeting wasn’t going to be of much help- but I was wrong. Dr Lam had read my chart and was thoughtful and helpful. I did not feel rushed in anyway and felt that he was interested in my concerns and needs. I would highly recommend him & his office.

I've just had my first appointment with Dr. Lam via Zoom. He's wonderful! He really listened to me, and was receptive to my concerns about my upcoming endoscopy. He willingly cooperated, and in fact suggested, an alternate sedation. He is polite and courteous, but also has a very easy-going manner about him. I like when a doctor will joke with me, and be serious when circumstances warrant. Dr. Lam inspires confidence and eases the patient's nervousness. I look forward to him being my gastroenterologist.

After I experienced 8 weeks of diarrhea, Dr. Lam performed a colonoscopy despite me being 91 years old with no negative results. He then prescribed a drug, the generic for entocort CR, and a week later I was back to normal. Friendly and interested in my problem. I recommend him highly

I feel I could be in no better hands. He answered my questions and offered empathy and knowledge to get me through my next step. I had fears before meeting him. He has alleviated those fears. Everything was efficient. I was well advised in prep and the procedure went quickly and with no issues. Even the prep drink was far better than in past times.

Always good to talk to. When i need a refill an its fri. I get good help from dr lam an his office asst.

Dr. Lam performed colonoscopy on me at JFK Hospital. He was terrific. He took the time to speak with me and explained the entire procedure to me. This was a refreshing change from a prior GI I used for the same procedure who didn’t even bother to acknowledge my presence. Over all, I give Dr. Lam 5 stars. Sometimes dealing with scary and uncomfortable issues is extremely difficult with a doctor with no bedside manner or ability to be empathetic while being vigilant. I have never been a patient or had any procedures done at JFK before today. From the moment I walked in the staff made me feel very comfortable and safe. The whole staff was very Covid conscience and made sure that I felt comfortable. I had to have a procedure that I was very nervous about getting done and my nurse Vincent made sure to answer all my questions and to make sure he explained everything he was doing and what today was going to involve. I had a zoom appt with Dr. Lam today. It was my first appt, and although I would have liked it to be an in person visit, I was very happy with the outcome.
