Not only is Dr. Bulkin a super smart, caring, and kind physician, but his assistant Massiel is absolutely incredible as well. Massiel has made my life so much easier in dealing with worker's comp. insurance. She is so organized, communicative, and their office will really fight for you to get the treatments you need. Thank you for all you do!

Dr. Borgen has treated my herniated discs and labral tear for the last 20 years and I wouldn’t think of seeing anyone else. His professionalism and skill are completely unparalleled. He is a true expert in the field. And beyond that, now a lifelong friend! I would give him 1000 stars if I could!

Dr Bulkin is exactly my type of Dr. Knows his stuff but can explain and show you what’s happening and why, and gives an honest assessment of your choices from least to most invasive and offers his recommendations which in my experience are never the least costly even though I have decent insurance. His appointments are concise and to the point without feeling rushed, patiently answers any and all questions and expedites treatment especially if I’m in pain. And best part, his Mt Sinai office is so efficient I’m not sure what their waiting room looks like. Definitely recommend for spinal issues, especially disc herniations.

I highly recommend Dr Eugene Bulkin Office. The waiting time in his office is less and his teams are respectful and professional and pays attention to detail, he takes his time to explain the results of my MRI in the mannequin and provide medication to control my pain, and make a referral to the appropriate team. I came to his office with a worse back pain you can ever imagine, age prescribed me MRI and pain medication and PT,. After several seances of physical therapy now my pain is down .

Dr Bulkin is very professional and has great time management. He never keeps you waiting more than 5-10 minutes. I've been his patient for 10 years and he's always available if you're having any difficulty..

Dr. Bulkin and his assistants were very knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. This was my third cortisone injection for my lower back at Mt. Sinai and I’m satisfied with the results.

Visiting Dr. Bulkin was an important and rewarding experience. I learned about my condition, did an x-ray without waiting, and received my treatment immediately. The whole event was simple and quick. Just wonderful!

Dr. Bulkin had saved my life a few years ago when I couldn't move. Literally I could not get up. I went to another doctor before and she was terrible. Dr. Bulkin knew where exactly to give me the shot and the pain was gone for a good few years. Last week I came back when I had a strong pain, and he did the same, and again, the pain is gone!!! I highly recommend Dr. Bulkin; besides the fact that he is an excellent doctor, he is also pleasant and calm!

Excellent doctor - excellent bedside manner. Rare for NYC.

Very good and very attentive. Takes a strong interest in his patients. I had a problem overseas and he advised me what to do so I could get home with minimum risk. He always accommodates his patients.

I went to Dr. Bulkin with severe leg pain which he insisted was coming from my back. I told him my back didn't hurt but went for the MRI, he prescribed, of my lower back which was stupid on my part, I shouldn't have listened to him in the first place. Even with insurance this test cost me $250 to find out the same thing I was told 30 years ago. To make a long boring story short, I'm currently scheduled for a HIP REPLACEMENT since the pain is coming from my hip, not my back. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Bulkin to anyone because he doesn't listen to his patients and that is not a good thing. I wasted time, money and the anxiety of the unbearable noise of the MRI (which was an OPEN machine) to find out that everyone should, in many instances, listen to their inner voice and not the doctor, who in this case thought he knew better than me. He didn't.

Stay away from this Doctor. I personally work in the building and decided to see him for the soul purpose of convenience. I called and left my doctor at time multiple messages with no call back, messages regarding pain I was currently experiencing ... important documentation, messages regarding the messages that were left unanswered. His scheduling department doesn’t even know what information to give prior to scheduling your procedure in turn making it complicated for the me the patient to make the necessary arrangement. In any event, this guy is not a good person, not a good doctor. Can’t stress enough how bad of an experience it was with this doctor. Stay away from this guy, he sucks!!! Stay away from this Doctor. Absolutely the worst Doctor experience I’ve had to date. Dr Bulkin was unreceptive to my concerns, rude about my injury, and unwilling to recommend noninvasive options for treatments. I highly suggest for you to find another doctor because I surely will be.

Stay away from this practice. Terrible experience with this doctor and his staff. His secretary is dry, lacks customer service skills and isn’t helpful or accommodating. Dr Bulkin didn’t listen to concerns, showed very little compassion and understanding. Do not recommend. Go to New York Presbyterian, sooooooo much better

I was super apprehensive about having a spine injection, but Dr. Bulking did a great job. I haven’t seen him in almost two years and he still remembered that I was a teacher!

I have seen many doctors for annular tear/protruding disc over the last 15 years and Dr. Bulkin is the only positive experience I’ve had. He is incredibly thorough, understanding and helpful. Dr. Bulkin has accomplished the impossible for me. He has treated me for a chronic back issue for several years and each time the procedure is completed, "IT WORKS"!! No easy task considering the extent of my back issues. Great peronality, kind, gentle, answers questions that can be understood, and is so caring. I would like to give him 100 stars, but, this page only allows 5.

Hands down the BEST physiatrist I’ve been to. He supersedes ever other physiatrist I have ever seen. After 2 visits spaced four months apart, this doctor has given me a totally new lease on life. Forget all the rest. This doctor is the best. I came to him dragging my leg behind me, in insane pain. I can honestly say after two sessions, I’m a new person. Went to see Dr. Bulkin for sudden onset of mid-back pain. Exam and quick x-ray revealed compression fracture most likely due to osteoporosis. Dr Bulkin was clear, concise and concerned. My only complaint was the initial paperwork! Staff friendly and efficient in a busy office. Was told Monday and Thursday are busiest.

I cannot express how amazing Dr. Bulkin is! I limpped into his office and barley could sit down for more than 5 minutes. I have two bulding disks and found out I have sciatica thanks to Dr. Bulkin. I have not met a Doctor that is so patient, friendly, compassionate, very thorough & very detailed. Dr. Bulkin takes time to get to know you, how you are feeling every visit, wants to make sure you are progressing, does not rush you out and actually listens to you! I recieved two nerve block injections and the first injection I couldn't walk alone, I was crying uncontrollably due to the pain in my back, muscle spasms down my leg and this man and Edelith his assistant was so patient with me, so compassionate, comforting and ensuring that this shot was going to make me feel better. Dr. Bulkin and Edelith talked me through the whole procedure calming me down. They walked me out of the room and he took the time to talk to my mother for care instructions. Anytime I had a question and I would call the office his staff was so kind, professional and returned phone calls quickly. I cannot thank Dr. Bulkin enough for giving me the ability to walk again.
