Dr. Ethan Erik Larson

I had a very pleasant experience at Larson Plastic Surgery. The staff was attentive and caring, and I trusted Dr. Larson right away. I feel he gave an honest assessment and was knowledgeable and experienced, which made me feel well taken care of. I left the consultation feeling well informed about the surgery process and with a clear image of what my results would look like. The surgery was painless and my recovery was fairly easy. I call him a magician because my results are so natural looking and beyond what I had expected. I'm glad I chose Larson Plastic Surgery and am grateful to Dr. Larson and his staff.

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Larson and his staff. I had a breast augmentation, and I had a less than perfect outcome, through absolutely no fault of Dr Larson's. He validated my concerns, and patiently supported me through everything. I've heard so many horror stories about Doctors ignoring their patients, or making it seem like it was the patient's fault--this was never the case with Dr. Larson. He stood by his work, was emotionally supportive through everything, and is exactly the kind of doctor you'd want. His entire staff is so sweet, and everyone genuinely cares. I wish I could rate him (and his team) more than 5 stars!

Several years ago a hit & run driver hit my right leg at 80+ mph while I was sitting at the light on my Harley, waiting for the light to change. My leg was all but amputated. While many other doctors kept telling me I would probably lose my leg and asking if I'd like them to finish amputating it, it was Dr. Larson who I believe is primarily responsible for saving my leg. If you think about a car hitting your leg at 80+ mph, I don't have to tell you what Dr. Larson had to work with! I consider him to be a gifted surgeon and would recommend him to any of my friends or family with ANY surgery that involves plastic surgery or reconstructive surgery.

I had my initial consultation with Dr Larson and his staff today. Dr Larson was extremely knowledgeable and very gentle in his approach. I felt comfortable and confident going forward with my surgery.

I Highly recommend Dr Larson and staff. I am a breast Cancer survivor and was a difficult case because of my scar tissue and Thanks to Dr Larson and team they did liposuction and placed it in to the area where. 1/2 the breast was missing. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. It looks and feels so natural. His staff is so kind and so helpful too. I feel so blessed!! Dr Larson an incredible surgeon , with a gracious manner.

Went to Dr. Larson for a consultation regarding my reconstructive surgery that was performed by another surgeon that deformed me. Dr. Larson is a very patient, caring and talented surgeon. All I can say is, the work he has done on me so far is 900 times better then my first surgery with my old plastic surgeon. Right now I am still in the process of reconstructing my breasts and I cant believe how incredible and natural they are looking. I wish I would of chose him from the beginning. If you are looking for a great surgeon I would choose Larson without question. The staff he has are very nice and any procedure she does she will walk you through it and explain everything that she is going to do. I felt so comfortable with her that it makes it easy to handle any type of dressing change or adding saline into my tissue expanders. Thank you Dr. Larson and staff for giving me the desired look I wanted and fixing what my previous surgeon had done.

Dr Larson is a highly skilled plastic surgeon. He takes the time to explain procedures and will even recommend against having a certain one if he feels the patient is not likely to achieve a good result. Would recommend Dr Larson without reservation to anyone looking for plastic surgery procedures.

My best friend went in for a consult on October 1 and was told to call in 2 weeks to schedule the surgery. It is currently November 25th and it took over 2 months for the Dr. Ethan Larson facility you’re submit all of his information to the insurance company in order to get pre authorization for the surgery. My best friend and I have been calling every week for the past 2 months to make sure everything was being submitted to the insurance company and asking question. Every time we called we were given reassurance from his staff that it would be sent in and someone would be getting back to us. After 2 months of going back and forth someone finally got back to us. IT TOOK 2 MONTHS!!! I was about to drive down there, but I live in Phoenix. Now due to their mistake my best friend had to schedule his surgery for after the first of January. This means his insurance resets and instead of pay almost nothing for the surgery he will have to be paying in full. After finding this out he was crying

Dr. Larson was awesome. He answered all the questions I had, was honest about possible outcomes, and put any of my fears or concerns I had at ease. He was professional and kind, and his entire staff treated me with kindness and respect. All in all, him and his staff turned a surgery I was extremely anxious about into an experience I could calmly confront because I knew I would be well taken care of. I knew I had a smart, kind, willing team helping me through the entire process. I am more than satisfied with my results.

Horrible. He has deformed me for life. He lied about what he was going to do and I came out of surgery totally different. He was too lazy to perform the surgery correctly and it was my tough luck to live with.

I’m W. Doctor Larsen did my top surgery, and I could not be happier--I had extreme chest dysphoria, being transmasculine, and Dr. Larsen helped me so much. It’s now a few months after I’ve had surgery, and I haven’t had any chest dysphoria, and even have had just absolutely joyous moments looking at my chest, as it now feels like me. After the surgery is the most comfortable I’ve felt in my own skin for years. Dr. Larsen was clear and kind through every appointment, pre-op, post-op, and during the operation itself. I remember being mostly out of it when he came in before the operation, already having the preliminary anaesthesia, but despite the fact that most of what he said was being lost at that point, he was still explaining everything he was doing in detail. I received similar treatment from all his staff, all the way through going under. I highly recommend Dr. Larsen!

All I can say is Dr Larson is one of the BEST plastic surgeons in Arizona ,and Tucson is lucky to have such a skilled surgeon. I myself have had a breast reduction and a tummy tuck by Dr.Larson after a 100 lb weight loss ,his work is superior. He was always available to answer my questions and concerns and it was nice to know he was just a phone call away.He always returned my calls, and there was many. If I could give him more than five starts I would.Thank You Dr.Larson

Dr. Larson, Yesenia and Liane have truly made my entire experience amazing! They are knowledgeable and take the time to address questions which make me very comfortable. Not to mention the results, Dr. Larson is highly skilled and I would highly recommend him to anyone! Nothing but top notch care! ????

I love Dr Larson! I had a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction and Dr Larson did an excellent job! He always took the time to answer all my questions and I absolutely love the results of my reconstructed breasts! I would highly recommend him!

I am a FTM transgender person and after I went to a prominent surgeon that ended up mangling and disfiguring my chest Dr. Larson took me in and worked a miracle. Both my mother and I cried when the bandages finally came off and instead of a crooked set of scars and severe pitting I had a normal, healthy looking chest. I don't know how he did it but the man is an artist. He's also very compassionate and respectful and demands the same compassion and respect from those who work with him.

Dr Larson is fabulous. He truly knows his stuff and I can say (because 3 other plastic surgeons in Tucson couldn't fix me) he is by far the most skilled. Its also helps that he is personable. My only complaint (and this has nothing to do with Dr Larson) but the office staff at Banner Cancer center were just rude and stupid. The receptionists and the nurse manager are pretty incompetent, I've heard Dr Larson is now at a better clinic. Just go through Yesenia, his nurse, she'll take care of you.

I made an appt a month in advance to see Dr. Larson. His office contacted me multiple times to confirm. I went on the day, checked in, paid my copay and sat down. 30 minutes later the office manager came and told me they had overbooked and the doctor didn’t have time to see me. I got upset and when I asked why they couldn’t cancel later appts, his MA Yesenia told me that the doctor sees very important cases and though she was sure my problem was painful, a breast reduction was not as important.

There are not enough stars for Dr Larson and my team of Drs. at Tucson Banner Cancer Ctr. Dr Larson successfully and perfectly replaced muscle tissue on my body that had nine previous operations. How he did it is beyond me. He is very particular and professional but at the same time kind, patience and answers ALL your questions. He worked a miracle. Plus his Office Staff are just as kind and respectful. The dear Lord placed me in good hands. He’s Amazing!

Dr. Larson is very kind, understanding, and accommodating. He was respectful of my pronouns and anatomy (I am ftm transgender). He performed an amazing top surgery procedure with no complications and great results.

Dr. Larson was a godsend!! My last dr. left me practically disfigured following surgery after surgery. Dr Larson fixed what this surgeon did. Had I only met Dr. Larson sooner, I would've been done with my breast reconstruction due to cancer YEARS ago!! He is one of a kind! He CARES & LISTENS about your needs & concerns!!!

I totally recommend Dr. Larson. He is awesome, trustworthy, and understanding. I recently had a breast reduction and am amazed with the results and have no more strain on neck, shoulders, or back. The pain has been lifted from my shoulders as to speak. I am healing up nicely and slowly regaining strength.

I am on this page copying the link for yet another breast cancer survivor friend who is asking around for recommendations for Tucson surgeons. Dr Larson did my DIEP flap, breast lift on my noncancerous side and nipple reconstruction 3 years ago. I struggle so much with being a medical patient. His competence, quiet confidence, quest for perfection and compassionate, kind delivery of care made an intimidating procedure doable. He and his team are the best and I am very happy with his work.

I was referred to Dr. Larson for a second opinion after my breast reconstruction with expanders failed with another doctor in Tucson. The expansion process & related procedures thinned and scarred my skin so I had concerns about attempting the breast expanders again. Dr. Larson offered other options for my complex reconstruction. I opted for DIEP with implants. Dr. Larson & his team were always reachable for questions & always had a plan to move forward for a great result.

Dr. Larson is very caring and compassionate. He loves what he does and does it very well. If a problem arises he takes great care and consideration in resolving it. He gives you options and the possible outcomes and has you involved in the process.
