I had a facelift and fat transfer done by Dr. Kim. I am 3 months after my surgery, but already very happy with my result. Extremely pleased with all aspects of my procedures. I had a facelift, neck lift and blepharoplasty. Having lost a lot of weight along with aging, left my face and neck with a lot of loose skin that made me feel very insecure with the way I looked. I had the privilege of having Dr. Kim perform my surgery, she went above and beyond my expectations. She left me with amazing results that came out so much better than I had anticipated! I never imagined I’d ever look this great and rejuvenated. I highly appreciate not just Dr. Kim, but her staff as well for always being there for me through every step of the way and making sure I was informed of every single detail of these procedures (pre and post).

I had a really severe diastasis recti, and workouts and physical therapy did nothing for me. I constantly looked like I was 6 months old pregnant. Tired of wearing clothes a size bigger just so I could hide my belly, I went in to see Dr. Kim. She really listened to me and answered all my questions. My surgery went great! She really was concerned with my healing and let me tell you; my scars are flat! She did great! During my recovery, I drank a lot of water, added collagen powder to my water too and drank that religiously for 4 weeks, I think that really helped with my healing as your body needs/uses collagen to repair itself. Being a mom of 2, I was never satisfied with the size of my breasts, and after having my kids they began to sag. When I asked friends who they had gone to for their breast augmentations they referred me to Dr. Kim. When I had my consultation, I knew immediately that she was my doctor. Nervous is an understatement for how I felt before my consultation for breast augmentation surgery. But the moment Dr Kim walked in so calmly with her warm smile, she made me feel better right away. I can't say enough about the TOTAL EXPERIENCE I received at AI Plastic Surgery. I had one of my breast implants deflate after a mammogram. They were 23 yrs old so really it was time for a redo anyway. My first implants were put in after 5 yrs of living with pregnancy issue going from A cup to DD and gaining 50lbs. Only skin remained. ???? so I only had them fill them up. 400 cc to D cup. Ms. Kim now had her work cut out for her. I had one large breast holding 5 pencils (sagging) and the other none (lol). What a mess. She did an excellent job. With a fill of 365cc implant saline and a lift. They are now perky and pretty much perfect. Best thing I dont think my scars will show at all. To me that was the scariest part of the surgery. First of all I want to say that Dr Kim and her staff are amazing. I was looking for a dr to preform a breast augmentation. I had visited a few doctors before choosing Dr Kim. Dr Kim was by far the most informative and warm Dr I had seen. She took her time to go over all the types of implant options that would work for me and we together picked out what she recommended. This is a surgeon that listens to her patients and knows what’s best for each individual . She knows what we want and she knows how to give us just that. First off, I'd like to point out that I've never had any type of surgery much less a hospital stay. Dr. Kim aliviated all of my anxieties regarding going under. And I had a lot! I came in for a Breast Augmention and I felt I clicked with Dr. Kim over all of the other Doctors I went and saw. She's very knowledgeable, caring, and professional. I knew in 10 minutes I wanted to have Dr Kim do my necklift and upper eye lids ( must do btw same time heals fast..) she recommended it..but was not pushy. Dr Kim was calm and patient a day very honest what to expect. I went to 4 consultations in town...and knew right away. She is an artist! And I felt very comfortable with a female Doctor. I had a concern late at night and she answered the page in minutes. I did my homework and was very knowledgeable what takes place daily. 5 stars!!!

Dr Kim is amazing. I came in for a consult on Botox and Juvederm. She was able to help me that day and gave me the appropriate amount of Botox injections. Didn't feel a thing. When I was getting the juvederm I was a little nervous about injections in my lips because I didn't want to look "fake". She was really patient with me and had me tell her after every injection where I wanted it and how it looked. She set up a second consult to use the rest of the syringe because of some swelling that might occur. This was the key. After a few days I saw a few spots that needed some more injections and it worked out perfectly. I left feeling like a brand new man with the perfect look that I wanted. Highly recommend Dr Kim. This is my second cosmetic procedure with Dr. Kim. I had a Brow Lift, endoscopic in 2010 and it turned out so well I came back for a Smas, Lower Face and Neck Lift for my 65th birthday present to myself. I am so pleased with the surgery and the following weeks of healing were painless. Stay softly active, no bending forward, keep your head band on and sleep as much as you can. The office provided a very good schedule to follow before and after the procedure which was very helpful since I'm also a widow and did this procedure by myself. I didn't want to change my looks just a good brush up for the next 25 to 30 yrs. I'm in my 6th week after the procedure and the healing/scarring is gone, you have to really look to find where and how the surgery was stitched. I've been out socially and having so much fun with my new face and slender neck. No more turkey neck thanks to Dr. Kim - she is truly an artist in the balance and features of the human face and body. After having twins my diastasis Recti was so bad there was nothing exercise could do to repair my separated muscles. Completely defeated from all the hard work I put in at the gym with no results, I researched medical ways I could fix my issue. Everything from my first referral call to my follow-up appointments have been professional, friendly and efficient. I felt completely understood as to what I wanted my revision surgery to look like as well as all my surgery concerns were handled in a warm, reassuring way. My recovery was quick, follow up appointments were scheduled easily and the front office was always cheerful and professional. I felt that Dr.Kim took the time to get to know me on a deeper level, which is refreshing.

I was botched by Dr. Kim, as you could see from my episode of Botched season 2 episode 2. She left me with a belly button under my skin creating what Dr. Dubrow called, belly button cheese! What if that had burst inside of me! How big would it have gotten?!?! Obviously she didn't even care! She left me with a fupa that Dr. Nassif said looked like his testicles! How can a doctor leave a patient like that?!?! If I could have given her 0 stars I would have because of her sub par after care treatment of me. I had a tummy tuck done with her in June of 2013 and due to her lack of care, it took me a year and a half to heal! I developed necrosis which she didn't diagnose me as having, I found out through research and then she didn't even come up with a plan to take care of it. I found a cream that could be used and she offered to write up a prescription for it once I told her. Eventually she did debridement on the necrotic tissue but by then it was too late. Every time she debrided it she said that she was down to good, healthy, bleeding tissue but when I would return a few days later it was dead and needing to be cut away again! I ended up with 2 fist sized holes in my abdomen that were so deep that they went all the was down to my fascia! She was in over her head and should have referred me to somebody with experience in the field of wound care. I had to use a wound vac for about 5 months and I ended up with massive scars from my holes, a ken doll fupa and no belly button because of the surgery with her. I'm thankful that I was able to get on season 2 of Botched where they fixed Dr. Kim's mess. I'm posting this because I hope that she learns from her mistake a realizes how much she negatively affected my life and the lives of my husband and kids. I had saline implants put in back in 2009 through a different surgeon. I had been experiencing pain and discomfort in my left breast and the size was just not the same anymore - and my breasts were unsymmetrical. I went to Dr. Kim to ask about it, and found out I was experiencing a capsular contracture. We scheduled a capsulectomy and complete removal of the saline implants and replacement with silicone implants. Dr.Esther Kim is great. I had an abdominoplasty done by her. She is very thorough and attentive pre and post surgery. She would always find time to see me if I had a slight concern during my recovery. Abdominoplasty is very complicated surgery and I was hesitating if I should do it. But after two kids it was not likely that my tummy would ever get back in place even with hard exercise. In May of 2014 I had major repair and follow up cosmetic surgery with Dr. Kim. I am so pleased with my results! Her office staff is an outstanding group of people. Front desk to back office, everyone is helpful and completely competent about all of Dr. Kim's procedures and operations. Dr. Kim is an incredibly talented and skilled surgeon. Scarring was an important issue for me and her work resulted in minimal scarring. My scar is now barely detectable at six months post op. The before and after care of the surgery I received was better than I have ever had at any other hospital or surgery center. Post operative and follow up care is as important to Dr. Kim as the surgery itself. It definitely makes a difference in your overall result when there is proper follow up care, even moths after the surgery has was performed. All included in her initial surgery fee. I've already referred two other clients to Dr. Kim and both were equally pleased and impressed with her skill and workmanship. And I tell you I'm very pleased I got my breast replaced with gel implants 600CC and she did an awesome job. I was not in pain my scars healed up really good.
