I had been struggling with atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response and was prescribed Disopyramide, which caused me severe side effects. In great distress, I stopped taking the medication and called Cardiac Arrhythmia Services. Dr K was the on call physician and he returned my call. He concurred with my decision to discontinue the medication and said he would be checking my chart and calling me back with further instructions and/or a prescription for an alternate arrhythmia control medication. He further said, “If you don’t hear from me, call me tomorrow morning.” He never called me, so, as he directed, I called his service. Again he didn’t return my call, but the service did 2 hours later, asking if he had. I told them he hadn’t and they said they would page him again. He never returned my call. The next day, my primary Dr had me emergency admitted for a 4 day stay in the hospital. I guess whatever Dr K was doing on Sunday, was more important than a patient in distress.

I saw Dr Kloosterman, smart doctor, got me diagnosed correctly quickly and on the right medication. I saw his PA, Sadelyn Santos, she is very compassionate, listens carefully, took her time with me. The office staff is friendly and efficient. A rare thing these days... lol. Highly recommend them.

A pacemaker/defibrillator was inserted by this practice in my chest. All data was monitored on their computer system. In February 9, 2019 I experienced 2 shocks and went to the hospital. It took this practice more than 2 hours to get there and in the meantime, I had 8 to 10 more shocks. When I went to another doctor afterwards, it was discovered that all the data from the February episode had been "erased." In addition, it was discovered that they had never optimized or synchronized the device so that my heart was beating in waves instead of in a coordinated manner. This has been corrected by another practice.

We found Dr. Kloosterman to be very patient & calming. He explained my husbands conditions & recommendations in a manner that was easily understood. His PA was also excellent. I normally do not like to see PA but she took her time with us & explained everything. When we requested to see the Dr. he came right in.

I saw Dr K for 3 seconds as he ran the aisle of pre op room shouting "I am your dr" Results- 1 1/2" scar and a 2 1/2"wire above it bulging under the surface of my skin. Irritated skin developed from changing bandage. Antiseptic recommended resulting in rash. dr K's office suggested over the counter remedy, 6 days later,my dermatologist script healed in 3 days. 10 yrs ago pacemaker inserted 1 inch scar no problems/no bulging wires. Dr. K. ??Dr. Walsh front runner-"A"- Techs-non communicative.

I was very pleased to have my first visit with Dr. Kloosterman. The Doctor was very calming and understanding of my less than knowledgeable questions, and then respectfully explain the correct process and terminology. I have a background in Medical procedures, Navy/Marine Corpsman and have interacted with many Medical professionals. It is easy for many of them to just ignore the ignorance of the Patients and continue on without any considerations, Dr. Kloosterman is not one of those. Thanks

Dr Kloosterman is very calming. He patiently and thoroughly answers all questions and concerns.
