She’s not helpful and is rude to her patients.

Barringer was my primary care provider for a few years however her questionable practices lead me to seek services from an outside provider. Never really listens to you and has a judgmental attitude

HIMG’s doctors openly discriminate against people with disabilities. I called to find a general practitioner for my daughter who has aged out of her pediatrician. My daughter has cerebral palsy and other related issues. Dr. Barringer refused to take her as a new patient because “they have nothing to offer her.” I guess healthcare coordination and treating for everyday illnesses is are much for a family care practice? Unbelievable. Blatant discrimination. Dr. Barringer did, however, offer to take my other child as a patient - the one who has no health problems. I guess they do have something to offer, if you have no needs! There are no words for this kind of shocking discrimination against the disabled! My next call will be to file a complaint with the WV Board of Medicine. HIMG’s doctors openly discriminate against people with disabilities. Always in a hurry. You're lucky if you get five minutes of her time.

I've been seeing Dr. Barringer for years...she's very attentive and helps with referrals she's pleasant to talk to and understanding ....

Definitely would not recommend Dr. Barringer for a physician. Very cold, kurt, and almost hostile. Very poor bed side manner. She and her staff are fast food care. Been to Dr. Barringer twice and wasn't in the exam room a full five minutes each visit. It seems its all about collecting your payment not the care - get you in and out as quickly as possible without serving the patient. I work in the health care field with patients daily & have never seen such poor treatment. Will not return

I am so happy to find the perfect doctor! She is very knowledgeable about what you should be eat for optimal health. She is very thorough with her exam. So happy she told me about certain exams that I should have had over the years. Very bright and caring. I will keep her for my doctor for ever!

Dr. Barringer was average. Kind of felt like she could've practiced an little more of a sympathetic bedside manner for the situation I was seeing her about. She felt a little cold, but did offer a couple of options. However, her staff, especially the woman at the window, was unbelievably rude! Rude on two different occasions. One of which was an emergency situation in which I needed to be able to count on my doctor, hence her staff, to take care of me. Very disheartening, I won't go back.
