Dr. Eric L Wymer

Took three days off work due to sinus cold. Was coughing, clogged nose and sore throat. Due to working for the government if I take more than 2 days off I have to have a doctors slip saying that I can return to work. Went in to see Dr Wymer and he advised that he does not do return to work notes for people that he did not see prior to allowing them to be off! He said with a sinus cold he probably would not have had me be off work. Really? So you determine when I take off and use my own sick time from work? That's not his job to determine when I use my sick time! And with my line of work lives are on the line. If I'm not 100%, then I'm not going to be at work risking myself and other peoples safety or lives! When I told him that he said that that is irrelevant to the situation. Again...REALLY? In fact my work stated that if I had cold like symptoms that I should stay home to take care of myself so I don't infect other employees or civilians that I'm around ( Especially now with all the

But Dr. Wymer wanted me to go ahead and go to work, during the night when it was 19° out and suck in cold air while I was already having trouble with a clogged nose and coughing. Needless to say I will not be returning to his office and I will be finding a new doctor. This isn't the first time I've had issues with him. He oversteps his bounds a lot. I would not recommend him at all to anyone, especially those that are in public service jobs where others are counting on you to be 100 percent healthy, so you can step up and save lives! You think a doctor would understand that but he doesn't!

The staff is always very professional and friendly. Dr. Wymer is a great doctor!

Worthington Place absolutely loves Dr Wymer! He is a great physician, his office team is phenomenal and we couldn’t ask for a better physician to partner with then Dr. Wymer and his team!

Dr. Wymer is simply the best!!! Very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. His staff is great too!

Worst doctor ever! If you need help don't see this errogant no it all. He kept sending me back to work when he did nothing to help me because he doesn't have a clue. I had major back issues along with neuropathy causing numbness and pain. Soon as I went to another doctor he knew what was wrong. Dr Wymer said it was all in my head. He is a joke. Don't know how he has kept his license. He doesn't care about anything but hisself, he definitely doesn't care about his patients. He doesn't listen.

Disrespectful, horrible bedside manner, was degrading and accusatory, did not listen, was not aware of medical records, arrogantly disregarded all other doctors' opinions after ten minutes of reviewing case, added inaccurate diagnoses....could go on and on. Will be filing a complaint with the board.
