Dr. Eric D Swanson

They don’t care about their patients, it’s all about money. We were referred to them by Absolute Dental but when the appointment came up her insurance wasn’t preauthorized. So they had to reschedule her, not my fault. Her last appointment I text and called but they didn’t respond or send a confirmation text. How are you scheduling far out but not sending reminders? I requested an emergency appointment but ended up speaking with 3 nonchalant women telling me there’s nothing they can do but give her another appointment in 2wks. No urgency, no reminders, terrible service and had the audacity to tell me she can go to a different doctor if she need to after she was referred to them for surgery. She’s 12 with an active infection and I explained that to the assistant but they didn’t care. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There’s a lot of offices that use patients for money and don’t care about the actual patient, this is one of them.

Dr. SWANSON is a class act- I was fortunate to have been examined by him regarding a root canal procedure gone bad and pain in my face- he was attentive, patient, smart and caring in his examination, diagnosis and advice. I can conclude he is a physician that doesn't look to do unnecessary procedures and work just to make money and ring the cash register. If you need a dental surgeon in Las Vegas he is an excellent choice- I strongly recommend him- also, the receptionist that processed me was also terrific and nice. The surgeon himself is nice but I would never ever recommend this place to anyone at all.First just to get into him to have my teeth pulled took 3 months of them cancelling my appointments and rescheduling at the last minute and now it's been 3 weeks after my appointment Andi go see my dentist which tells me he cant order my dentures cause they left a tooth in my mouth.After calling Swansons office and having the ladies tell me they will look at my chart just to transfer me to a voicemail and this went on for three weeks and now they tell me they can't get me in in fill June 3rd.So they accpect me to go another month with no teeth for work the surgeon has already been paid for..So i am just gonna pull the tooth myself.And hopefully something bad happens and they can be held liable for not doing it right the first time. The doctor and the dental assistants were great. Front reception woman with short hair, was so passive aggressive and rude.She is the reason I’m leaving a review. She is a miserable person. Besides her, it was a good experience.

I went to visit Dr. Swanson with jaw pain and he was very attentive and explained everything to me where I could understand

I had 2 teeth extracted including one of my wisdom tooth..Its been a week now and I'm still in the same amount of pain I was in the day of the procedure..I was prescribed ibuprofen for pain meds and needless to say it didn't help at all..I went in to follow up expressing my concern about the pain and how it felt like there were spikes in my mouth rubbing in-between my tongue and gums and the inflammation was still bad..they gave me a prescription for torodol a stronger anti-inflammatory which really concerned the pharmaist because it causes bleeding in the stomach and should never be taken with ibuprofen or it could cause international bleeding of the stomach causing death..I called back on a Friday morning expressing my concern on a voicemail and was never called back. I went all weekend in pain. When I called today Monday morning they had me on hold forever acting like they cared for my concerns only to promise a call back in 20 min. It's been 4 hours since then. I have a big piece of my jaw bone that's exposed and causing a lot of pain. It's disheartening the care I received after the fact. Terrible terrible bedside manner. Extremely dissatisfied with this entire office. Dr. Swanson is great. He is really kind and jovial. So are his assistants. My low rating comes for the front office staff. They are rude and have attitudes for no reason, cut you off, couldn't say good morning or hi just "you can have a seat". I called for a complication I was having and couldn't reach anyone.

Eric D. Swanson, MD, while very nice, did me a huge disservice when he did not do a biopsy for me, which was the reason I was referred to him. I agree with the long waiting time to be seen. I also agree with the rude front desk staff. The main reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the manager I believe her name is Rochelle was very helpful for me. While waiting for insurance approval I was wondering why it was taking so long so I left her a message. She called back within a couple hours which was pretty quick to me since usually it takes days or maybe even never. She addressed my concerns as I was quite upset my tone of voice was not the nicest she still kept her mild mannered tone which was awesome. This was a Fri afternoon she said she would check into a few things and get back to me later that day so I'm not thinking yeah right it's Fri afternoon she's not going to call me back until next week but sure enough right before closing she calls me back as promised. I did a wisdom tooth surgery here and Doctor Swanson is amazing! He’s very kind and compassionate, kept me calm, and got all four teeth out in 20 minutes. I’m doing well and they keep recovery as smooth as possible. Only complaint is that it is always a struggle to contact someone in the office, but if you leave a message they will often get back within the day. dr. swanson did 10 impants for me and two have failed. Back east i had 10 done by another oral surgeon and with that doctor none failed. I had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes to get seen once. The staff at the desk is vey rude.

Avoid this guy, assembly line medical care. He misdiagnosed me twice, two different diagnoses a month apart. On second visit, he asked his assistant if I was a new patient. I repeatedly asked for a biopsy. He said it was not necessary, that he sees this condition everyday. I went to another oral surgeon, and he did an immediate biopsy. The news is not good. With Swanson, there is no continuity of treatment, and he has too many patients waiting. Consequently, his office staff is stressed processing patients through an overburdened system. The staff is, therefore, rude.

Horrible coordinator for hospital surgeries. They never answer your calls and seems it takes them more than a day to return your call form your message IF they even return your call. Likes to call you while their office is closed so that even if you just got their voicemail one min ago and their message will say call me back as soon as you can and you call a min later and the office is closed bc she called you while they still weren’t opened yet... makes sense right? I thought the phone tag in the beginning to schedule my hospital surgery for my wisdom teeth removal was the worst part... hahahaha nope I tell you it gets worst... I do my pre registration at the hospital a few days before appointment day before my appointment which was today I get a call at 9 am telling me when to arrive at the hospital and about not eating blah blah blah great two hours later I get a call from the “amazing” coordinator and her message is telling me that she canceled my procedure that I’ve been waiting for for over a month due to my other insurance! So not only does she not have the decency to actually tell me over the phone physically but all of this proves their communication together suck. And then I call her back she doesn’t answer I leave a message didn’t get a call back I call office back and speak to someone at office in reg scheduling I tell them what’s happening she tells me the coordinator is on the phone with your insurance company right now and we will call you back after to let you know what they say this was at about noon hours go by and before I head into work I give the office a call again and left coordinator yet another message and then I call hospital to see if I’m on the schedule for the surgery and nope they really did take me off even though I was under this emergency surgery that took a little over a month to even get. And what bothers me the most is her message never said anything about calling her back to make a new appointment nothing at all. So here I am still waiting to get my wisdom teeth surgery done. Still in pain. If you can avoid them please do. I feel bad bc my consultation with the doctor went so well he was so nice and amazing but he really needs to fire all the office personnel and find better people that actually care and have communication skills and customer service skills. Doc swanson was wonderful. Very nice man. As for the LADIES behind the receptionist desk......Rude AF! They all need an attitude check. Pretty appalled by there customer service and the way they speak to you.

If the Drs. office staff doesn't make his office top notch then it is shame on the DR. I have called over to his office 6 days ago about a surgery problem and I have not heard from any one.. This is a problem that the DR should have handled himself, 6 days and counting

Had a wonderful experience at Dr. Swanson's office. He was really kind and funny and made me feel very welcome. Great guy and diagnosed me correctly after 5 other doctors messed up!!!

Mean receptionist

Dr. Wolfson is a good Dr. But the office can sure screw things up, been waiting two and a half weeks for clearance to have the remainder of my teeth pulled, why so long ? Nobody in this offiice clearly speaks to each other , I've called daily to have this paper signed in the meantime my denture were imprinted and made NOW SITTING IN MY POCKET rather than in my mouth because now almost three weeks since the paper was faxed to this office I find out i have to be seen in the office , after being told repeatedly that it would be signed in the morning and faxed. Well as I said now need office visit .. dentures are in a zip lock with water until I can get Clarence to have the remainderof my teeth pulled (had 4 pulled two weeks ago no clearance needed?) This is an ongoing problem with this office my federal for my 8th abdominal surgery was sent to a Dr. That Wolfson said was a good buddy.. after a month to get the referal to them a month for an appt. I find out that this Dr. (Buddy) does not even do hernia surgeries so after TWO months back to start the prosses over to get another referral . This problem also occurs every 3 months for one of my refills , mixed opinions on if I need to see Dr. , Draw blood , or just refill..??? Every time every one in rhis office has a differaant answer or even idea to try.. THIS IS MY TIME AND MY HEALTH!! My sisters whole life changed for the worst after her surgery here. Strongly urge everyone to steer clear of this office! Most terrible and unskilled oral surgeons in Las Vegas. My sister had her wisdom teeth removed and they gave her a painful condition called TMJ. They’re supposed to specialize in NOT giving you this condition. Very disappointed in the front office! I needed my wisdom teeth remove and it took three weeks to get i. Even though it was suppose to be an emergency removal! I came to the office for my consultation and i to wait for an hour to get a five second app with he doctor. The second time i came for my actually surgery my app was at 10am i had to wait an hour and half, mind you i haven't eaten since 11pm the night before. Eric Swanson did surgery on me when I got my jaw broken. he was very good to work with and the surgery went well. all of my office visits have been pleasant. but scheduling appointments has been difficult as well as getting someone on the phone.

The doctors are great at this office, the staff on the other hand are horrible.. they will hang up when things get too difficult and after a argument with their billing department they refused to schedule a doctors appointment to be seen for medical attention... horrible!!! Stay away from them

Dr. Swanson was so kind and empathetic to my situation. His Staff was wonderful and the office was amazing. Highly recommend him!!!

The clinic's appointment scheduling is the worst that I have encountered in my entire life. There has to be a better way of doing this. Even automated greetings say that they will reach the patient in 24 hours but they NEVER do. Unbelievable!!!

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Office staff is a bunch of lazy do nothings. START ANSWERING THE PHONE!!!!!!!!!!! And the doctor does NOT listen. Guess what doc, WE are the patients!
